Servus! My dad has birthday next week. As a surprise I will bring his 92 Fatboy for inspection today. Tüv etc. is going to be part of it. Before I have to fill up a few liters. Since I have never filled the Fatboy myself and privately (unfortunately) drive another brand I don’t know what I have to fill up. Do you know what comes into a 92 Fatboy? Normally you say yes, the more octan makes the engine more knock-resistant and so on. But can you do this all-round with such an “old” engine auc What do you think? Would be great if I knew by 4 p.m.

After the opinions differ, I wanted to hear your opinion and especially Er”FAHRUNG”. Build just on 250 socks around currently have a rear wheel offset of 17mm to the frame center. Apart from the optics, I would be interested how far you can go so that the whole cart remains mobile. Nen 250er I will probably not get 100% in the middle with chain or am I wrong??

Hi guys there I am again. 93 Elektra Glide machine waited over the winter with your help, last week drove 140 km, ran like a clockwork. This morning employed, wonderful, after three km she bucked and went out. Since I was just on a mountain, I could make it run downhill in the second again until the entrance in our settlement there she went out again. Battery charged, but does not jump on. Organs through and smells strongly of gasoline. What can that be. Gasoline is too old I don’t see any gas filters. What do you do if you can’t get it done? Have the workshop pick up? I’m sure you’ll think of something. Thank you Tom

harley is harley.. my 77 shovel with 1.5 belt primary can be switched well up in itself, but with the switch down there ́s problems, I drive to a red ampel I can not get the empty run in, that only works if I switch down before. is built in a barnett coupling.. sometimes goes nothing and I have to wait with pulled coupling.?? switch claw???? bent thanks bright shovel

Hello to everyone, I’ve bought a 77 shovel and now I hear everywhere that the shovel trembles and you can’t make a trip over 300 km without panning or screwing or doing anything. I’m not a heizer, but I had a last season with the vl 1500 over 12000 km and zero worry. screw-making I’ve already mz and awo and jawa through, so I’m not that bad just have not completely internalized with the technology of the shovels yet. do I have to worry now? w he are your experiences with the shovel. by the way, have a “not converted” yes, there is. but will not stay that way I hope I’m already tinkering. have good or bad experiences, please post. thank you to everyone and maybe a picture of your bikes would be nice. greetings from the north

In the report one saw a Kawa Mean Streak, a Sporty, a BMW, who had to go with to doping control, one with a custom Trude was still allowed to escort to the dealer- ALL because of too loud /illegal bags. A leaf frog in the interview:” We pull out all, which are from the traffic O-Ton Vox: “The Frankfurt police officers know all the tricks…” Was someone affected by the controls? In particular, I would be interested whether a little more eye measure was shown this time or if again on all TÜV entries of legal equipment etc.. was in the assumption all examiners and manufacturers were fraudsters and all those who have such a thing on the moped criminal. Hello,have one of S&S tuned Evomotors. Is it better if I would drive it with full-syntetikoil. Like e.g. 10w-50 of Bel ray o. 15W-50 of Motul Or could that hurt the engine??? Thanks,s Frank

Hello everybody, wanted to hear your opinions. I don’t like my 1200 Sportster from 1993, so I want something new. I’d like to have a Fatboy or Heritage, but I can’t afford both of them at the moment, not even needed. I could spend 10,000 EUR, i.e. 5,000 EUR, including the Sportster. I’ve seen a very nice new 2 colored 1500 Suzuki Intruder. I’ve been thinking all the time about whether to buy them or not. W as would you do. Buy or wait and save on another HD??? Greetings Jo

Hy Bikers I’m going to be 60 next year and I’ve been thinking about buying a heritage for my birthday. I’ve been a crazy HD fan for decades, visiting all exhibitions and HD meetings, all love-rides, I have about 50 cm of HD books in my book frame, wearing HD underwear etc. usf. – short: I want to finally fulfill a dream! My wife has (more or less) agreed with it, my whole circle of friends finds the idea excellent. I have been driving since 40 Years of car, but I don’t have a driver’s license for heavy things yet, my motorcycle knowledge is limited to small peppers. Maybe there is someone in this talk who can talk me out of this Sch.. idea or can tell me about similar “grandfather experiences” 😉 I wish everyone a good start to 2005 good luck and health Henry Zollinger, Switzerland
