  • H-D Night-Train year 2007 does not start.

    Hello everybody, I have a problem again. I drove a lap yesterday and at the beginning everything was ok. I stopped at a Norma to get something to drink. When I wanted to start afterwards she went on first and then immediately out again. After that I did not get to her anymore. Then I called my girlfriend and she came with her car and a bridge cable. The cable made it, a time waited and then tried again. But without success. but it doesn’t start. Then I called the ADAC and it finally came after 1.5 hours. I then had myself brought with the moped into a hall from me. After the unloading I tried to start for fun and she was there immediately. Then I drove with her about 25 km without any problems home. This morning the same game. Again it does not start. Then I hung the battery to the charger and then it jumped again. Then I wait again half a day. I have 2 batteries here. Both were so cheap batteries for 65 €. I suppose they are both on the A…. And now my question. Can it be that the battery has enough juice to turn the starter but then has too little to get a decent ignition spark? I took out the spark plugs once. The spark is there but I mean, it’s just that I don’t have enough juice to turn the starter. It would be nice if I got any tips. Greetings Frank P.S. On the picture is the battery I installed.

  • King Sportster Tank on Softail

    Moin I’ve had my oven for a few years now and I want to knit something else out of it. I find the King Sportstertank on the Softail quite funky, rear remodeling also follows (flatfender and side cake sheet with saddle bag in front), 20 Z handlebars and somehow back-laid footrests. I got infected by the old school virus in Los Angeles in May. Is the tunnel at the Sportstertank as wide as the 2-piece softail tank? probably not. The flatfender is supposed to be resonating, sociable for occasional coffee trips. Are there any ones that have built such a thing? for the purpose of entry etc… I have seen this more often, only what do I have to pay attention to?

  • Questions about the end of the “time limit” for general tyre approvals

    On 31.12.2024 the “already time” for general tire manufacturer approvals ends. I have driven the last years Continental ContiLegend white wall tires, which unfortunately are not registered in my papers.In my 28 year old papers – two different tire types are registered with me: – Dunlop D402 F Touring Elite II – Metzeler ME 88 Marathon Ok, the Dunlop flaps still exist in exactly this name. h replaces the Metzeler ME 888 Marathon. Do I simply smell this successor tire, or do I have to register it? Speaking of registration. How does this work? Do I just drive to the TÜV with freshly assembled tyres from other manufacturers and they enter this in my papers and give me permission to do so? If so, what does the fun cost about?   • Heulton after changing brake pads

    Hello friends, after changing the brake pads, front, the brake swings up to a high frequency when braking. It sounds like an organ pipe – also so loud. the whole stem hums. Before the change everything was OK. Did one of you ever have this and know remedy? The facts: – Deuce 2006 – Brembo with the bean-shaped sheet metal logo – Einscheiben – 4-piston with DOT5 – SBS pads – Brake disc is 1 year old and runs round – Antiquiet paste (blue) on backs, pens and By the way: Is the rule true… ?: – Plate with angular cam > to the outside – rounded sides of the pads in the outlet direction of the brake disc – see attached drawing If so – the pads do not go into the brake shoe. The cams hit the rear edges of the housing and the pads can not be pressed in so far that the holes for the pin screws come on top of each other. I am perplexed.

  • now I’m almost 47 and I want to get a Harley

    Hello, so now I will be 47 and want to get a Harley. After almost 29 years of motorcycle I decided to drive away from the mass goods BMW Yamaha and so on something different. A road king should be it. New it doesn’t have to be because so many kilometers do not come together with me every year.   • She’s haunted and bitching like a virgin before the first time

    one is a shit. for a few days now my thick one spins. it jumps great at and in the stand gas also super run. however when accelerating (always at a certain speed) spits, jumps and cuddles, plows out of the carburettor. when I give really gas and the speed range is overcome, it goes as always. takes normal gas to us runs to the normal peak speed. the error always occurs in the lower speed range. I have already excluded: ignition coil, Ignition cables and candles. there is no leak or water in the carburetor and it does so with or without air filter. a adjustment of the ignition (to the right or left to the starting position) has also not brought any change. my presumption is either a problem with the accelerator pump or partial load nozzle, or the underpressure valve or even the ignition controller. what do the experienced think about it? bb-blue
