Hello I was on Sunday with my better half at the sale-open Sunday. While strolling around I saw a few Harleys, among others was a breakout CVO. While looking at the bikes the owner of the CVO came up to me, but not to turn on or ask me what I’m doing there but quite normal. We were talking about Harley and the conversation was pretty nice. During the conversation the owner offered me the CVO… Since I rather on classic Harley Now I have rediscovered this CVO at Mobile. Is it with a dealer who probably imported Harleys and is offered there in the customer order, so if someone is looking for a CVO… http://suchen.mobile.de/…/details.html?…

License plate holder Softail Deluxe
moin moin, I need your good suggestions with regard to my license plate mounting. I don’t like it at all as it is ex works (since Brett is standing just vertically up at the back). Looks especially nice… because I have broken down whole socius geöns and the rear fender is nackich. I don’t find the bevelled version much better either. In the side variant I need a different tail light, otherwise the “former” license plate lighting lights up the Jack e. Looks a little affy. How did the other softail riders fix your turm? (Can I also nail my helmet at the back and touch it with a pit lamp) Softailer

Buying advice – Street Bob, 48, XR1200
Hello together, after I made my dream holiday last year and drove with Harley through the West of the USA, the brand totally fixed me. Had now for some years no motorcycle, but used to travel on super athletes ala Fireblade. But I have become older now and am tired of sitting totally crippled on a bike. Furthermore, I found the relaxed, relaxed cruising means more beautiful than the frenzy. Long speech short sense, I would like to In spite of all this, I would like to have a good rideable Harley, are not in the USA and can (yet) drive a little faster and the roads have a bit more curves. I have now picked out three models for me, Street Bob, XR1200 and 48. The most active one is certainly the XR1200, but I think that with her the relaxed cruising is rather too short. 48 and Street Bob would be more the classic bikes. With the Bob I would ride the 103 The 48 will be better to drive. I already tested the 48 and in America I had a Fat Boy. Also on 16 April at the Open House will drive the Street Bob Probe. But would be nice if I could get some presentation reports here. I am also open for counterproposals to other models. Rätsle whether it is better to buy a used or a new (XR1200 of course not anymore) because the price difference is not very high. so for the best give 😉

Brake pads for 2013 Road King / sinter or organic version???
Since I renew the DOT4 brake fluid this week, I also wanted to replace all brake pads. Can I assume that organic brake pads were installed from the factory? I was very satisfied with the previous ABS brake performances. With the TRW/LUCAS sinter brake pads (781), it is explicitly pointed out that they should only be used if sinter versions were installed before? What would be, besides the high-priced HD material, still renowned brake lining manufacturers, b Zw. where would be a good source for organic coverings in stamina quality. Have no desire for any experiments with low-budget manufacturers! Gruss Nico

LiMa too little juice
Hi, did someone have an idea why a “apparently” completely intact LiMa produced only about 1/3 of the normal voltage? Had first typed for cable break or similar, because the resistance was about 3x as high as normal. But those are ok, the error was on the measuring device (did short-circuited 0.5 Ohm). With a decent I come to 0.1 to 0.2 between the windings of the stator (measured on the plug). Otherwise he looks almost like new (is he actually also – about 3,000Km) Evtl are the magnets of the run. r too weak? How can I test this? I searched with the wrench all times but found no difference and he also “glued” well everywhere… Someone else an idea?

Oil Harley
Hello I need some information and help…So I’m driving Harley FLH 1200 E-Glide year 7/1971 for 2 years and now I wanted to screw around myself…because I stay lying down more often and stand there like a stupid…..times it had run the air filter seal and once cell in the battery dry…Now I just want to know how it all works..I always have to fix something else but can not hurt or ?? So my problem is ….it has run out of oil for me b I wanted to burn my exhaust paint. But I also have to say that the Harley was standing for at least 6 months because there was no time to drive because of wintering, toddler and family. The engine had been made, new pistons and so it still has to be driven in. Now my question was the engine oil or transmission oil what is in the primary box???That was engine oil or because my measuring rod in the oil container where do I leave off the engine oil and transmission oil and fill the transmission oil again??Should I change the oil filter and the primary box seal ??Because it has run a maximum of 100 km…The oil filter still looks good and the seal on the primary box also ….Which oil do I use best for what ?? By the way, I am from Hamburg and would also be pleased about any help on site…. Greeting Dirk

Your opinion! Can you recommend an HD (Heritage or Road King) for 2 people for about 11,000 €?
Hello together! I confess it immediately at the beginning: I have no Harley experience and would like to change this now, since I have always “dreamed” of it to drive one at some point! But now I have various questions to the among you, who have perhaps already had experience with the above mentioned models. I am looking for an HD, on which I can be traveling with my wife in the future. My budget for an HD may be somewhat tight (approx. 11.000 €), I would like to abe However, I don’t want to buy a Japanese bike because of my height (approx. 189 cm and my wife 175 cm) and I don’t want to ride such a small bike. That’s why a Heritage or Road King is waiting for me. But maybe also a switchback. At Mobile you can find some vehicles for this course. Now I come to my questions: – Year of construction: There are some HDs with a few KM from the years 2005-2008 – Can you recommend these series? – Which one of the above models would you recommend to me? Are there any models here that are known to cause these difficulties? – How much screwdriver experience or knowledge do I have to bring or can I do it without? Thank you for your information!

Riser slightly crooked
Slim S 2 years. Who has personal experience with it? If the re. handlebar end is a little closer to the body than the left one and the riser is also slightly slanted on the fork bridge, because this twist took place by lashing when loading, is it then possible by loosening the two lower riser nuts to fix this? Has anyone already done this for themselves? Thanks for practical solutions in advance.

Set HD Breakout with Jekyll and Hyde in Workshop Mode
Moin, I just got my breakout from the dealer. Now it’s Saturday and the dealer is closed. I have a Jekyll and Hyde with the electr. Can-bus system. First you could switch through three steps with the electronic switch red green/red flashing and green (so open). That’s no longer possible. The dealer said that you would have to switch on the workshop mode of the J+H via a switch combination. Someone knows the switch combination and you can use it in normal operation at all. I find it partly quite good to drive at half volume. Would be nice if someone could help me on the fast. Greeting Jörg
