Hello Harleygemeinde, am new here in the forum and hope to get help from the “Profis”. Drive for 3 years an E-Glide Ultra Classic 95`injection. Had after some time the problem, that when starting was only a slap. First the battery was replaced (but only cheap battery), which helped after some time also nothing. According to a “Harley screwdriver ” the magnetic switch was defective. So exchange with original Harley battery. Now I have the same problem again. If the battery is 100% charged, the E-Glide starts immediately. During the drive the voltmeter shows 13 volts. Instead of me the HD and then try to start again, I have again only the “cracking”. After recharging (but must reach again at least 12 volts) works again. Hanging too many consumers on it can be pulled erndwo side current…. maybe you have me a solution. Merci Andy Andy

icy rays with c02 granules. where to make?
hello, I think we’ve had the subject before, but I don’t think it’s a new thread. so at the end of the season, I’m going to take my motorcycle completely apart to get the engine back with a new black tinkle varnish and the frame again with a new powder coating. I’m looking for someone to clean the engine with the ice-beam process, externally treated and nice. I don’t want to take the engine out of the box, so the process with the ice-ray. who knows a company that does something like this. here in the environment of me, I didn’t find anyone who makes it an adequate price. gruss bb-blue

First Harley Rocker C
Hello guys, I’d like to buy a Harley for the first time in the next few months. I drove a Rocker C on vacation and I was / am gone..:-) Currently I drive a Speetriple, which I sell… Unfortunately the Rocker C will probably not be built any more. Then I will probably buy a used Rokcer. Can someone tell me his experience with this machine, or give me some tips !? Would you rather suggest a different model than the Rocker C !? What is the value loss on HD, od he the rocker ? bin absolute HD newcomer, but mega hot on the machines π Thanks for the help ! Greetings

Presentation of my Road King Classic
Hello I would like to introduce myself briefly. Got delivered my Road King Classic yesterday. It is from 2007,a USA import, in very good pl. condition. It was a force winder and end pots of V.&H. Have changed the pots and the air filter for original parts, because the V&H. are a little too loud for me. Will soon put the V.&H. into the book. Only when the side lid is removed much on me that a Dynajet Powercom. is installed. Can I now with org. Endpot and Luf i drive at all or the Powercom. must be adapted to the new components. I’m afraid that the engine will run too thin. As Lufi I want to fit into the org. housing a Ku.N.. Thank you for your help Michael from Hagen

Front position lamp also called stand light, mandatory?
Question to the knowledgeable, one actually needs a front position lamp also called standing light. Have read opinions of yes and no. According to StVZO Β§51 a motorcycle (without sidecar) of less than 1mtr. wide may lead a front position lamp. So I do not have to,so I understand that. Have no rear position bracket for front position lamp,as LED has actually changed something regarding position lights in the turn signals, which are a standard condition at Honda. Would like to recreate so just because of this glim 5W I was pulled out, police was very friendly and pointed out that this was not allowed. Argument Honda didn’t count. Looking forward to your opinions

Fork defect ? Harleydavidson Forty Eight
Hello Friends I drive a Harleydavidson Forty Eight 1200 bj 2013 (22000km) I noticed that if I drive over bad roads or Gully cover that my fork in front clacks wheel bearings I checked it can’t leagues My guess is that the front fork has been knocked out or at least one has been broken Are there ways to repetate or have to be replaced?

LED headlights
Hello Together I own a Harley Davidson Sporster Forty Eight from the year 2018. Now I want to completely replace the lamp at the front and mount an LED headlight. On the internet I find only “favorable” models, which cost around 40 – 100 Euro. I asked two dealers (Switzerland), one told me, including assembly 850 Francs (850 Euro) and another about 700 Francs. Now I wanted to ask if someone changed this also at a dealer, and above all How much he paid for it. Of course the LED must have a test mark (TΓΌV, MFK). Thank you in advance for feedback.

FXD Super Glide Tacho won’t work
My problem: The speedometer of my 2004 Super Glide (FXD; FD1) just doesn’t show anything; neither the speed, nor the speed/day-kilometre level and also not the “error codes”. π The turn signals pull in again alone and the engine remains stable even in idle. Now to what I already did: – Tacho sent to the expert, came back as absolutely iO – Sensor cable When I disassembled the thickness on the WE, I saw the rear/bottom/left side of the frame – where the three ground cables are attached – that a ground cable is attached to the frame, but after about 5cm without any counterpart. The loose end looks as if it had gone off from a thin PIN. So fuse box out, all the plug backsides check if it is out of there somewhere (the length of the loose ground cable lays off). e the assumption that it could be from this area). RECENT! Also in the nourishing environment there was no counterpart! Everything was built together again, all fuses checked again for passage, cleaned, contact spray on it and again assembled. Unfortunately the tacho remained out. At the top of the tacho connector the currents measured (orange and brown/grey cable) and it were with running motor clean 14,4 – 14,6V. The passing measurements on the plug of the tacho and the tachos resulted Does any of you have the igniting idea or THE TIP for me, which I could still do without throwing the friendly horrifying money in the throat? Harley Softail 1992 with EVO engine
Moin moin, I’m about to buy a Harley Davidson Softail Heritage Classic built in 1992 with 1340cc and 63hp EVO engine. Running it is 20,000km. What can you say about the engine? It was installed quite often from 1984 to 1999. Vulnerable engine or an indestructible device? Guessing or driving from such an old box? What I could find in the net and what I heard from the circle of some Harley drivers is not a bad engine and not a bad model the Sof tail Heritage Classic. What do you say?
