Hello biker friends. now it’s time. after a long break I venture to my zzr 1100 build year 91. I have to bring the bike from the ground up to the front. that means to overtake all beauty works except the motor (runs top). the thick one is already well disassembled. there is still the swing with the wheel, the curvature position, cooler system, fork with front wheel, and the motor that it was then already. everything else is off. the rest follows gradually. a workshop manual I’ve been worried about having good tools, but I’m not sure how to disassemble everything and then I can’t get the whole thing together safely. I can barely balance such a motor without any help. I might want to have swings and rims of powder coating. also a super-bike.kit stahlflex etc. have your experience whether there can be problems with fitting? or should I have polishing? I’m really insecure. is polished non-care intensisi at the end, the cladding and fender 2-colour, in any case black as the main colour, should be painted. I leave that to be done by a specialist workshop. the frame makes me worry! since I have started with the grinding work on the frame (didn’t have light lacquers and because of age), I don’t know if and how to paint it. better of course from a company but I didn’t want to expand the engine now because I miss the possibilities. the paint is in one place nice smooth down so that it could also look polished. but I have already read that the self polishing should be a sour work and in the finish is not optimal. there probably only my 1st idea and look helps: the frame should be black, the bike should become a mixture of black with alu. should I spray the whole or do with the brush? which paint could it be? I would also be satisfied with matt-black, clear varnish doesn’t have to be I’m really very clever, it’s not my first bike. years ago I made such a gpz “clear”, except for frame but. I also want to repair the motor a little bit. I’ll probably take a heat-resistant paint that I’ll probably use for the curvature system. of course, everything is neatly glued off. …but, I’m grateful for every tip or experience worth doing better. with raised hand greeting, biker toni. 😉 PS: as a plant times a picture w As I found, but the model was the frame, I imagine.

Side stand KZ 550 B
Hello ! Someone has an idea of the side stand of my Kawa. KZ 550B. On the instruments the control lamp for unfolded side stand is constantly lit ( although it is above ). When the coupling is pulled out it goes out. I recently bought the Kawa and have not yet capped the whole mode of operation of the stand. I would be happy about an answer. Rassput

ER 6f, adjustment suspension
Hello, my Kawa dealer set the suspension to the softest level on my machine, so that the machine gets a little lower, because I’m pretty ‘short’ Since I’m quite shaken when I’m driving over a bottom shaft or a shaft lid, I wonder now if that wouldn’t be so bad if the suspension was harder? Since I also made the driving school on my own machine, I didn’t have any way of comparing whether this would be right now. in general so shakes or just not can you tell me if a harder spring adjustment rather worsens or improves the shaking? Best regards! nico

Advantages of a Kawa?
Salü!! Why buy a Kawa ? Has been closed! Don’t know why man, I have now within 3 weeks 800km on the hump! And for more than 30 years no idea. You mean it’s maybe stupid questions! But if I drive to my shooting stand and there come 2 shooter colleagues with Haiabussas or something like that and say what I have written up!! Here come my doubt? Another colleague told me that the GPZ 500 is a reasonable beginner moped! Have a few better ways he bet on ignore as Dr.Mil.-San.-Moped I do not want to be advised by such super brains! Kawa GT 750 and K+N air filter
Hi, everybody! Did any of you ever install a K+N air filter into the GT? I got annoyed about the mess when washing out the air filter sponge. I then read that there is now also a Lufi from K+N for the GT. K+N advertises with it, that the Lufi can be installed without further changes of the gas factory. So I got a filter then. 40 Euro is not really a bargain but such a K+N air filter looks good too! ) Just before the big tour I also made my way to the south. Old Lufi out K+N Lufi and see that the lid can no longer be turned. The K+N filter is almost 10 mm higher. So the lower holder is modified so that it fits. Done! During the test drive the Gt did not pull right anymore. It seems to run permanently lean. Only from speeds above 4000 it goes better. Nevertheless, the mixture remains too thin . . . . So first of all the old filter again. Last week on the Intermot I have dan n times the K+N representative referred to my problem. His narrow cometar: Normally you don’t have to change anything about the carburetors. But it happens that the engine doesn’t run optimally when using our filters anymore. Here I would have to talk to the specialist workshop and have the carburetor re-adjusted. On my objection the K+N advertises that you don’t have to re-adjust it at all. But I can do my problem again at the headquarters in Ho lland mail. Maybe they know something. . . . Maybe someone has already gained experience with the K+N filter. Or someone can tell me at which place on the carburetor I have to rotate best and which nozzles I have to change. Would be a huge help. Until then! Thanks + Griessles Oscar

Kawasaki GPX600R Clutch Klappert
Good evening All together I have the following problem but can’t interpret it. I know remote diagnosis is difficult vll. could you help me with my problem a little. I make the machine clapping it out of the clutch housing whether in idle or 1st gear. I pull the clutch it is still there. I tilt the GPX to the slightly right side (coupling side) is the clapping away. With the remaining gears it is not the case, there is the clapping not there. a week ago. Can it also lie on the oil stand? Visible glass is on the aid. Thank you in advance. has one or other i-welches present.

Measure oil level
I have a bigger problem again: I can’t see anything in this small window to measure the oil level, but also nothing at all. There are two “limits” on the right and left, but that’s what it was. I can’t see anything from high and low level or any display. I’m worried so slowly, because I don’t know how much oil is in it and if I have to drop something. That’s just robbing me of sleep. I can’t get the filler plug turned up and worry so slowly. I’ve been screwed up.

Splash protection under the number plate, how long?
Hello guys, I have converted the rear, according to the description of the license plate holder must start 150 cm above the wheel hub of the spray protection and be as wide as the whole tire, I have read this already somewhere else. It can’t be that, the original spray protection is never so long and never so wide. But a holder is already on it. What do I have to do so that I get this through the TÜV? Here we go to a picture!

Drossel ZX6R
Hello, have bought a used ZX6R BJ.2001 (600J). The moped was throttled by the Kawa dealer to 34 HP in 2001. Entry in the letter:”Reduction in performance of the installation of four vacuum pistons without membrane, without piston stroke ET. No. 16126-1393″. The previous owner again throttled the bike in 2003 and left the removed parts to me when selling. 4 throttle discs and 4 O-rings. The parts were now installed again and removed from the TÜV. Nevertheless, it seems to me that the KAWA significantly more This is also the opinion of a friend who tested the bike. Question: What is the top speed of a throttled ZX6R Bj2001? Is the throttling on 34 hp more than the 4 throttling discs?

Experience with black racing discs
Hello, I have now mounted four LED turn signals and would like to add some accessories for my motorcycle in winter and I thought about an MRA racing disc. Did any of you experience with tinted or even better: black racing discs? Is this affecting the visibility? And does the wind pressure decrease noticeably? bye, Olli
