  • Accident Reperature

    Hi guys. Unfortunately, yesterday had a heavy accident with my Er5 Bj00 Bin in a curve frontal thundered in a guardrail. Motorcycles survived relatively well. The only thing is that the fork is now Krum at the front. What do I have to do now to get it back in shape? Besides, it doesn’t start any more. After the accident, however, it ran until someone had turned it off. The emergency switch is back to normal position. Light and all displays also work . Ask for help since I love my little girl and she doesn’t want to sell greetings from a sad motorcycle driver.

  • Mixture adjustment after installation of K&N air filter ?

    Jo, the topic says everything…has there been an experience with ? I put a K&N filter in my box some time ago and am not sure if I should just let it all be turned on, or if I give performance….

  • ER-5 mileage – was it turned?

    Hi guys! I’m about to buy a motorcycle in the near future. Very probably it will be a Kawa ER-5. I now have an offer for one of ’97 with a mileage of 3000 km. For approx. 1900 EUR it should go over the table of the dealer. Now I have a little fear that something is wrong with the mileage. The only previous owner should have “only driven very rarely” and “kaum time to drive”. I expect no clairvoyance, sonde rn only your opinion Would you possibly have an idea how I can see if everything is fine with the machine? Mainly because of the mileage etc. Thanks to you already.

    moin zusammen..bin am den den den den ich möglich haben ne zx9r bj03 so one of the last ones has now thought about whether I should take it away and get me a 10er because looks like hammer out the 04-05.or if I have to put the money on it into my old one..I once talked to our ps forge 🙂 (werkstatt) the meant so bissi more bangs costs so ca1800 to 2000euro that means complete system and motor tunig… he said he would get out so 165ops on the rear wheel.. en..mmmhh what do you think about this?? don’t know what to do the 10s has nice print but I also like the 9s very much… many thanks already in advance for your trouble mfg lars

    Evening, would you like to ask, where you are insured with the motorcycle? So mine is reduced 34hp and I am directly with the insurance DA, pay 213€ with 150SB partial cascade in the country of Berlin. The manufacturer doesn’t make so much of me now, is a Kawasaki.   • AID – ZZR600 or ZZR1100

    Hello to all who might be able to help me. I spent the last season on a GPZ500 (after 15 years break). Since I am large and stable built, driving on the 500th from approx.120KMH (due to air resistance) is no longer fun anymore. Who can tell me from experience if there is a difference in wind protection between the ZZR600 and the ZZR1100 and how big it is. I am mainly city driver what speaks for a 600th, but I also want to fly over the highway. Thanks in the In advance greeting Mario

  • Repair or scrapping? Many questions…

    Hi, I bought a Gpz500 for my last money, year 89. It went quite well at the beginning, then less and now not at all. I know now that the carburettor is closed, so ultrasonic cleaning is necessary, then the mill has to be resynchronised and last is because it no longer sprung up, the starter broke (that is, the wheel that drives the engine has broken off). And now my questions: 1.: Would you still repair the bike with the sum of damages, or better sell for slaughter? And 2.: …do you know anyone in Frankfurt am Main who takes over such repairs? And 3.: Can you buy carburettors and starters used and also get parts that are ok? And lastly 4.: Is it wiser for 100-150 to buy an exchange engine with carburettor and starter to then eliminate all problems? HELP!!!

  • Kawsaki ZX-6R used…

    Hi, I’m new here in the forum and hope that you will help me find my way around a little bit more in the Djungle of the motor bikes. To me, I finally did my motor rdad test a few days ago (limited). Finally, also slowly became cold… Now I’ve been playing with the thought of getting a super athlete for quite some time, while I liked the Kawa ZX-6R in the eye. Still to my criteria, according to possibility should be year 00 or similar and have under 20tkm.   • Change engine housing

    Hi, I have a hole on the clutch side of the engine housing (not clutch cover) at my GPZ 500 S Bj.89. Therefore I would have to change the whole engine housing, engine housing is so expensive for net. The engine ran before the leak still 1A. However, I then have to transport the whole engine into the other housing, I read through the repair instructions and find this is feasible, but I also trust the part that it conceals the really critical points. That’s why I wanted to Ask if it is possible to rebuild the engine or if it is pure suicide. So far, I have only done simple work such as carburettors and exchange lids and seals and wonder if this is rather too difficult for me as a hobbyist.
