Moin, I gave my Zx-10R year 2006 last to the 24,000 service. The machine is a checkbook, so I brought it to a nearby workshop to carry out the service. I had asked in advance how much the service would cost. It was 500-600€ depending on the work. Today I get the bill over 1856€… Among other things 1351€ for 146 AW. Four Shims were changed on the machine, as according to the workshop all were too narrow except for one valve. a 4 spark plugs for relaxed 108€ which I also feel a bit happy. I realize that changing the Shims is more labor intensive. But 1856€ so three times as much as it was originally said. Therefore my question, has someone had comparable service costs before? And does anyone have any idea if I can do anything at all? Or do I just have to swallow it? If I had known what costs I would have called the service The cost of this is in no way reflected in the resale value.

I used to drive a Xamaha xz 550 and had no problem with the seat height or with the weight of the motorcycle by upholstered seat. Well, now it’s supposed to be no other. Hi! Maybe one of you knows the problem and its solution. So every time I drive in the 3rd gear (or try it anyway), it literally jumps out with strong load changes. It’s as if the gearbox wants to switch to the 4th, only then somehow “between” the gears hangs. Sometimes this phenomenon just happens, without load changes. Does anyone have an idea here? Greetings

hello! maybe ma can help me here or give me a tip! owns a gps500s 60ps. my machine starts normal, but when I insert the first gear, pulls it immediately forward even though the clutch is still actuated and chokes at the same moment. if my machine stands on the main stand, it works perfectly, I can insert every gear and give gas. waqs can that be?!?1

What I’m still missing are tires. I live in a very winding area and need good tires price is mostly safe. What kind of experience do you have with the machine and tires. The previous owner told me that in the curve the tail likes to break out, h abe there is also something from higher-ranking that this should help. Hello, after cleaning the carburetor on my El 250 B everything was dry and I then drove so 100 km on Saturday. At a traffic light stood a nice motorcyclist, who gave me a sign. ( With the index finger to the side stand). I, when it was green, looked at the road edge and down and what was a huge gas pool. Why for heaven’s sake already run out of fuel again. Had the carburetor disassembled, cleaned and tested and there nothing more ran out. ( As I had cleaned the carburettor I tested with blowing into the spray pipe whether the shimmering needles are dense (in doing so I moved the shimmer up and down) and they were. I also changed the O-rings of the drain screws. What else can that be?

Hey guys, I finally got my 2002 zx7r today. I don’t know what that’s about, but somehow I’m afraid to drive the machine inside of me. I mean, I drove it. But there’s always the thought that I could exaggerate and what happens. It’s my first machine as I mentioned before. At the driving school 2 years ago I drove a 250er 34hp chopper! After that maybe 1-2 times bigger machines. Is the fear going away after a time? Or am I the only one?
