  • my kawa gpz 600 r goes in the run to the red area

    hello have such a problem with my kawa gpz 600 r and that is I changed the temperature sensor in the thermostat housing because the old was defective. cool water changed and the fan switch at the bottom in the cooler with a switch bridged. now the problem is that if I run it warm that it goes after not even 2 min into the red area….what can that be? please answer quickly…be with my Latin at the end….bastel is 1 1/2 years and finally get to do. and nu n the problem thanks already for the answers

  • ER-5 put on the road – handlebars crook – Can you fix that?

    Hi, did it stupidly manage to throw my moped on the road in an evasive maneuver The damage seems to be limited to some unsightly scratches, two loose mirrors and a crooked handlebar. The handlebar is slightly bent up+back to the left. Now I wonder if you can fix something like this or if a new handlebar has to come here? Have asked the Kawa dealer what a new one costs and they want to have over 100€ for it. is it likely that only the handlebar is crooked or can something else have been easily affected at the fork? The fall was at a very slow speed and I was almost standing when I slipped away. So the moped didn’t slip big on the road, but more or less on the road, and I didn’t have the chance to do it. The stand pipes still spring quite normal.     With more than 50kmh my moped is roaring (speed independent). Make me worry now that it can lie on a wheel bearing. Since it only occurs with more than 50 things (with increasing speed getting louder) I can not identify the source and do not say whether it comes from the front or from the rear or from the engine (gear?).   • Kawasaki he5 no longer starts “right”

    Hello, I bought a Kawasaki ER-500A a short time ago. BJ97 – ~50,000km. today I drove about 20km without any problems. I left my bike about 1/2h. After that I wanted to start it again, but unfortunately you could only hear a funny “KLACK-KLACK” while pressing on the starter. You can only put the “first” and the “empty run” in, all the other gears are blocked. They are hard to set up while it is being pushed. A nice man helped me with the attack. After the second attempt with the 3rd course she started again. The engine turned up constantly in the stand, but I could drive up to home. At home I put it off, waited for a moment and started it again with the E-starter. As if never had been anything, she started immediately again. About 1h later I went back to my motorcycle. Suddenly I saw a cymbal-sized gasoline leak on the ground and it continued to drip off the carburetor. I wanted to run it right away. and then again the same as before: It only did KLACK KLACK!! A friend of mine then helped me to run. However, without success. Each gear blocks the rear wheel. I hope you can help me. Thank you )

  • Engine damage to EN 500 C, limit errors!?

    Hello all, my EN 500 has now obviously suffered engine damage. I would like to know what it might be about and estimate the rep. costs before I push the thing to the friendly dealer around the corner. After a longer tour with sporty driving it jerked vigorously when fully accelerating on the highway. About as if the clutch slipped through, or the tank was empty (the latter one is used without a tank indicator and with a reservoir switch). The next traffic light after the first exit I heard a loud clacking in idle mode, but irregularly, so it doesn’t synchronize to the speed. She doesn’t smoke or smoke, she still goes, but with significantly less power. Idle and running culture in general is round, probably still running on both cylinders … Can anyone possibly interpret that? I don’t have any power.     Servus meine klr spinnt total. jumps bad to not at all. sometimes she does not run in the standgas machine. then she goes out as soon as she comes under 3000 turns. carburetor is set ok. valve. new control box is also dirn. my screwdriver cup has given up, my workshop has also. has had such a thing before? by the way, I am mai and have not yet driven with it for a kilometer. =(((

  • Kawa ER5 Spring “restauration” – Need help

    Hello Motor-Talk Forum, I’m new here and have a few questions. Have my Kawa ER5 Bj 1997 for about a year and want to get it a little shot now, because it has a few beauty defects. 1. Defects: Due to a slipper the left engine cover (even relatively deep) is scratched. Does anyone know a shop that sells it? Can one spat the scratches possibly? 2. Defects: Tachover clothing scratched and partly broken. Does someone know a shop where to handle it for a And can someone tell me how to get the speedometer. -> ie. am still an enemy of cabling at the moment. 3. Defects: Tacho lighting is slowly becoming weak, which makes me hardly see the speed in the dark. Do I have to solder the LED’s, or just plug them? Witchcraft, or feasible? 4. Defects: Clutch slowly at the wear limit. Which parts do I have to buy if I want to replace them? 5. Defects: Engine oil uncomplicated old. How do I find out if it is too old, too dirty, oä? 6. Defects: Scratches in the mirrors. Buy new, or acceptable to polish out by certain means?     Hello, jap……my moped makes problems. and I have 2 problems…. first, does the moped have a immobilizer?The since I have it she sometimes does not jump on,no muks,georgele and georgele,she still doesn’t come,do I plug the ignition key the 2th time into the lock and make the kill switch once and again,she jumps out wonderfully.Doesn’t that bother me anyway I have a question mark in mind?At the 2nd time it always works. But also problem wa Since today, she was standing about a month, I have in the lower speed range, as at that time with the gpz, which she only runs on 3 pötten.in stood all wonderful, no driving goes even then she has this macken, from 6000 tours then everything is good again.I mean that she had that at that time shortly before at a crossing already before. but I am not sure, only just was it really extreme.
