  • V9 Roamer as used motorcycle. Experiences.

I like the V9 Roamer (I want Kardan). I’ve seen test videos and read blogs (these are mostly movies and reports, from people who get the Guzzi for a day from the work and also the journey and the expenses etc.). Is there someone here who really drives them, in everyday life, on vacation, on tours, for longer than a weekend, and what can say about it? I am currently driving a 750ger Breva. Much more and more. But would like to have more, technically not so much clicker-diklack switchstone time A little bit more power, a touch of more safety (ABS), a walk more etc., this V9 on the screen came to me. The Bobbers don’t, that’s too garch to me, the Roamers already, which I find chic, looks comfortable. Is that it? Can I travel with something like that (with the Breva I can do that, because I sit well), uses someone here as a everyday motorcycle, how far do I come with a tank filling, how is the Roamer in the curves, you sit there with the footrests, it’s just such a café-racer-mop ped or is it good for all year round drivers? Thank you for any feedback!

  • Impacts damage 1200 Norge

Hello to the Guzzi municipality, have since June 2022 a Guzzi 1200 Norge with 102Ps added from 1 hand and top checkbook maintained after approx. 2000km I have now heard a clattering in the engine that would become worse and took all the fun to drive the Guzzi. Has sounded like a valve clapping. Of course I called the Guzzi workshop and have it for 1 week in the workshop, since the workshop did not report back I called and got informed that it is probably about a pestle and whether man should judge it or not. After my questioning what costs such a thing, the workshop said that he had to open it first and then can say what it costs first. If someone has already had an equal harm and what is the effort of such a harm …. Greetings and thanks..

  • Steering head bearings V65

Hello municipality, I’m new here and might need a little help. We (me and my wife) are just screwing a Guzzi V65 (PG Bj. 87) to make it float again. Currently we are at the steering head bearing, the hook (rest points). We are now superior: 1. Switch to cone roller bearing The cone roller bearing that is available at Stone-Dinse for 59,- € is a normal standard bearing (30205J2) and costs in ball bearing trade ~12,- € (from SKF). The original (Axial-Rille ball bearing) has in the upper lag But there is an inner thread that is naturally missing at the cone roller bearing (also at the one of Stein-Dinse). Is this now only attracted with the upper mother (the one with the eagle on it)? 2. Leave the old camp It is worth a try. If I understand this correctly in each camp 21 balls. But the previous owner has probably stuck one in between between the storage bowl and the pipe, anyway there were 22 balls out and in total I now have 43 pieces. turn in a bit and leave the old warehouse. – What is the torque of the suit (in the workshop manual I don’t find it) – What is the sheet with the nose between the upper shell and the upper fork bridge? With thanks and greeting, Julian

  • Griso 850 good offer?

Hey people, I looked at a Griso 850 and tried it for about an hour. Link:http://www.1000ps.at/used-motorcycle-951727-moto-guzzi-griso-850 What do you say about it? First possession, TÜV new and service new. Tires are also relatively new. Tacho has been changed, so it only stands at the speedometer about 3000km, km stand can be verified by the invoice. Otherwise, everything is really original, no changes. We are at 6,6k eur, I think 6,5k are still possible. The only thing I didn’t like, it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for a long time. But it’s still polished up when you buy it. Performance is enough for me and it’s fun to drive it. Will you stop by this afternoon/evening, maybe with a colleague (4 eyes see more than 2). What should I pay special attention to with this model, does someone have some good tips? Thank you very much! MfG

  • Problems after Dynojet installation GRISO 8 V

Hello Guzzi friends! I have only been owner of a Griso 8 V, year 2009 with 16 Tkm. From the seller I also got a Dynojet Powercommander, which was supposed to be installed in this bike + test diagram. I have now driven about 1000 km and have dealt with the topic of Powercommander over various internet sites. Today I used the Commander lt. instruction, the Griso jumped on, although reluctantly, but ran around I had the feeling that also the down e speed range went through more strongly, but then immediately the red oil control and for me for safety the off. I pulled off the whole junk again and the machine runs thus also quite manically, oil control does not come anymore. So dear Italobike friends, I do not want to have a fundamental discussion here. The Guzzi is my second bike, for fast moments I still have my ZX9. However, if ever really a good tip from experience can give it to me I would be very grateful, also a e good opinion if you really need the Dynojet now would be important, I don’t ride the Griso to flutter in the wind, over 160 makes that anyway no fun with a Naked bike. Thanks in advance and Allen a great start into a crash & panic-free season! Udo B.

  • Moto Guzzi California 1100 Vintage Valve Adjustment/Range Marker

Hello, dear Guzzi friends, allow me a question about the Cali 1100 Vintage. Mine is Bj 2006. When setting the valves I did not find an “S” mark on the flywheel, but a yellow arrow. The “D” is like it is described in the beautiful video of Moto Schrauber. Is this variant available? Unfortunately, there is nothing in the workshop manual. Thank you for your help! Greetings Uli

  • Ruckeln Moto Guzzi V7 850 GT Built 1972

Dear Guzzi Fans I’ve had a V7 850 GT year 1972, which basically runs reliably. Currently I have the following problem, which I can’t explain easily and is slightly different from the thread V35 on the topic of jerking (see below) The MG jumps well and runs round. Acceleration is also full throttle in gears 1 to 4 in all speed ranges no problem. Only in the 5th gear it does not take full throttle and comes into the jerking. With half throttle it accelerates normally. Problem of course, this motorcycle is not about full-gas driving, but I want to get to the track of the problem before further complications occur. At first I thought about the ignition, but contacts are right, too. I will now still have ignition cables (they have already made problems), spark plugs and plugs exchange. Presumably, however, that it comes from the fuel supply, so at maximum consumption (greater gear, full acceleration) too much ode r too little petrol arrives. Maybe also a filter dense or similar. Does anyone have a tip or idea? Thank you and Gruss, Hans
