Greetings. Since the beginning of May this year I own a Guzzi T3 from 1982, with about 65,000 km on the speedometer. Yesterday I was on my way home, at speed about 120, when the engine suddenly lost power very briefly – as if the fuel was all. Was only a second long. I am immediately off the gas, but the machine then went on quite normally, no noticeable power loss, standing gas normal, no eye-catching exhaust gases or noises. I was almost at home anyway, and the last Met He behaved the Guzzi as usual. However, at the parking a small oil pool formed under the vehicle. The area under the air filter, so above the transmission was full of oil. Did the Guzzi first stop, because I could not see where the oil came out without taking off the tank and the seat. I will do that today. Does anyone have an idea where the oil can leak out?

Moto Guzzi California 1400 Custom …is the car still being built or has the series been stamped in production? ps. how long are there spare parts (stocking at MotoGuzzi)? Or do you have to mill the brake drum yourself when broken? mfg

Do not jump on with towed coupling
Hello! I drive a Moto Guzzi 1200 V8 Tenni. If I have the side bumper outside, want to insert a gear and start the engine with the clutch pressed, then the starter no longer turns. Even if I insert the first gear with the clutch pushed out, the engine switches off immediately. I have already replaced the clutch switch under the clutch lever, but error is still there. Have measured the switch and works. Could the error in the control Is there a problem?

Model palette- Heavy machinery
Hello, after some time the motorcycle virus has packed me again. Looking at the Guzzi homepage I find new, attractive models, but the “thick” machines no longer. Am I unable to find them, or did Moto Guzzi actually say goodbye to the big classes? Greeting GolfBattle

What are you using to polish the crackers?
The thick crackers on the Griso look very sexy but only when they are freshly polished. Unfortunately, the V2A runs very fast. I like to give myself the regular cleaning (still) but maybe someone has the super medium, which makes in one operation from “Dark gold brown” again “Fast silver yellow gold”. My polishing agent is Yoshimura Stain-Magic. This provides great results but also here you have to keep several operations and it has a high acid content. there is now something better for the hand polish.

Guzzipurchase used…
Hello Guzzisti ́s, I don ́t belong to it, but think about buying a Guzzi 1200 sport at the moment. Budget is only enough for a used one, but I would like to take a 4V. What should be taken into account when buying a used one? Are mileage performances more important than years? Were there year of construction dependent errors? Are there concerns with machines with “motor tuning”? Are there typical problems that could have been avoided with care? f anything too? Which tyres are good or not at all suitable? My dealer buys nothing with more than 15tkm, why could that be so? Is Guzzi not comparable to BMW? Thanks for a quick feedback. The Guzzi is a real character bike on the motorcycle market.

Glued oil pan
Hello together, maybe someone can help me. I wanted to change the oil filter on a Cali III. Unfortunately, the oil tank does not dissolve after removing the screws. The part is as hard baked with the engine block. I suspect that the seal has been glued. Unfortunately, I have already broken 2 pieces of the tub edge, so that a new part is probably due. The responsible of this brain cracked construction (oil filter in the oil tank ??) should one today still stoned n. Greetings Peter

Guzzi 850GT Ignition distributor installation
I have problems with a nch a year again in operation Motoguzzi 850 -V7-GT. it was switched off from running operation! Now the right cylinder did not run…. and it did a barrel on… last state: from ignition candle over carburettor and control times everything renewed, ultrasonic cleaner and control times adjusted. ignition coil changed…… it always jumped and jumps immediately… but after some warming with relatively passable run, it starts to pop… and a cylinder runs t not with…. abe rs very unpredictable…. sometimes both, sometimes the right, sometimes the left alone… and then this bad bang… suspected of problems with the distributor… because the control times were obviously wrong camshafts Ot about 40° after piston OT ??? can’t be? the original Guzzi workshop book is full of errors???? distributor should run against the clock pointer, but turns clockwise? now the question is whether the distributor is properly installed. the workshop book the cams for the U-contact are different long?? how is the installation position for OT-left cylinder direction of travel, to which everything refers? it is a 1-contact distributor. Marelli what else would be to consider? I’m slowly completely at the end
