  • Disc brakes defective for the second time

Hello. Has someone experience with a Triumph Trophy with the front disc brakes. At approx. 25000 km and now at 50000 km the front disc brakes have become immovable. I emphasize not worn but immovable. At a braking at 100 km the front wheel starts to flutter. Warranty was rejected. I seriously wonder if there is a technical defect here. The motoor wheel is not even 4 years old and needs for the second time new brake discs. I am not a Fast driver. Drive nice day tours with 400-500km. So no hetzer. I am very disappointed about this funny alleged 4 year warranty. In the Klerinprinten it is then first, which everything is not repaired. I emphasize however again, that it are not worn off Scheiobebrakes, but technically defective immovable disks. There are nice tips for me. Thank you Reinhard Wallner Trophy SE Thunderbird LT

  • Beginners ! Problems with driving lessons

Hello and good day to you! I don’t know if there is something like a beginner group here ? let’s see. I bought a streety in the late autumn which I love very much. In the driving school I drove KTM: Kawasaki : Honda (was just changing time 🙂 then I changed the driving school and now I have a great driving instructor who is driving motorbikes too. Much better! He says I sit and look good and we have already driven a lot on highway. Unfortunately they only have BMWs . Now sit z i am on a GS f750 and don’t understand the world anymore. Because of winter / flu time and now lockdown I used to practice with my streety in a private parking lot. That’s great (not yet perfect ) so slow down slalom / 8th drive/ stop and go/ on the mountain….there it is a bit steep etc. Now I’ve already fallen 3x in 2 days, always stopping. That’s so prostatic… still comes up with something 🙂 in other words : I’m too stupid to stop. Can this be sooo different ? The poor moped doesn’t get better either, is certainly great German valuable work but I somehow don’t get any real contact with her 🙁 I’ve never fallen down with mine yet (is also a little lower but not much)….I asked if I can bring my own to the driving school. Was rejected. SCHNARCH!!! what do I do now complain…. mimimi…… am really unsure. Does anyone have a tip?

  • Warning light Water temperature display Thunderbird 900

Servus. Yesterday I was on a longer tour (about 300 km). Weather: Very sultry, as you know. Back in front of the garage set the turn signal, as suddenly the water temperature indicator flashed with the same clock. Box exhibited and the same again with switched on ignition tried: Same result. If I had then switched off the headlight, the light flashed once and then no more with. With turned on headlight then flash again, blink, blink etc. After an hour Wa Does anyone have an idea what that could be? At least not moisture on the plug connections, it had not rained. But the engine does not seem to have been overheated either, otherwise the warning light would have been on all the time. Thank you for your brain murmur. Greetings from Bikinger.

  • Street Triple RS New or Built 2017

Hello, I would like to get a Street Triple RS 765 for next summer. I have found on mobile now 2-3 in my vicinity with Km stands under 10 tkm. With little extra equipment the so lie between 9 t€ -9,5t€. The first “new” (2018 he with 0 KM) so lie at 10,5-11 t€. If it is worth taking a used one because of 1000 € or would you rather take a new one, because I find a discount of 10 – 15 % not so much for a “year machine”. Know this only of cars, and There the tee is much bigger (percentual). To me: I am now 50, children are grown up, than the typical re-enterer. I have always driven moped from 14 😉 to about 25. Then because of work and family convertible and now I want to cruise with a few friends a little cozy. Would be happy about all tips and tricks. Greeting and many thanks

  • Thunderbird 1600 squeaks

Ask the same question again (as with handlebars) because some have answered to it I try again a larger circle with the topic of tooth belt squeaking. Unfortunately, with my Thunderbird some of the timing belts squeaks mostly at slow speeds 40-30-…Km/h. Have already asked at Triumph but not yet received a solution, if you know one? I know the silicone or oil is definitely not a solution, so the sense of the maintenance arm toothing goes I don’t know how the ingredients react with the belt material. I hope that the topic can now be found directly via the search engine. Who is interested can also look at the topic of handlebars because the topic of zanh strap squeaking was addressed for the first time. Best regards T-BirdYP5

  • New Street RS / Driver’s license / Driving hours

Hello together, it’s been my dream for a long time and it’s clear to me that my first motorcycle will be the Street triple RS. The purchase will take place within the next few days. (I know that the RS is not a beginner bike, but I don’t want to start with a Kawa Z650 and have to buy something faster in 2 years) However, I’m facing the following problem – I’ve had the driving licence in class A for over 10 years, I haven’t even driven a moped in this time. . I would like to do a few training lessons about a driving school. the question is: do I do it on the new moped or on the one from the driving school? I thank you in advance for your answer. lg

  • Triumphous blood band

moin people after years to and fro hamm`s we finally managed to shoot pictures of our English ladies. we are 3 brothers, beyond the 40. the middle one has increased 2 years ago in a change of spiritual illumination ne 900-er-thruxton. of course I could never let myself be offered as the oldest of the tribe and have followed for a month with a 96-er thunderbird, especially since I was completely killed by the charm of the British retro sluts. our 2-youngest ( i In the meantime, he has cared for the next break of style, under the threat of family exclusion and other reprisals located under the belt line with the belzebub… with success!!!! • Speedy broken and for sale 🙁

Hi! Well, for a long time it didn’t grant our luck… today my husband drifted out of the curve with our Speed Triple, and now I said this is the second accident within 2.5 months, I don’t like anymore. The motorcycle is sold, you shouldn’t overstretch his luck, because my husband is once again unharmed (thank God), only our baby is slightly defective… I would only be interested in how much money I could get for it! The damage (presumably): Tacho halter broken, fender scratched in front, radiator bent on the left, clutch possibly slightly defective, scratches on the left exhaust, scratches on the black engine paint left. We approved the moped at the beginning of September, now there are almost 1400 km on it. The first customer service is of course already done. How high will the repair costs be? Is it better to have the moped repaired first and then sell it in spring? Or sell it immediately broken in spring? Ask for Ratsc Hläge!! Many sad greetings….

  • turbo in the 955i ?

Is it technically even possible to install a turbocharger into a Daytona 955i ? If so you get then still Tüv ? After some research on the Internet and for questions with various dealers I was told that you can also build a turbocharger in “small” machines. I drive my triumph for almost 3 years and wanted to look for something bigger around now. However, bigger motorcycles are either ugly like the night or for the normal earner priceless. Therefore the idea with the turbo because to my knowledge it is the price/performance moderately best training. Well, be nice if someone can help me further. The ideal case is a company which makes such special installations. I am to be sure that I am here (finally) at the right address. With kind regards P.s. To prevent senseless posts already times (have in the last months enough about me) I am not at risk of suicide , do not drive the whole day highway etc.

  • Caution

Hello Bikers, I know a lot has already been written about the topic “Motorcycle disobedience by motorists”. Nevertheless, I would like to share my “arousal” with you here and today. In a single-lane curve, which ended at a crossroads, I was pushed by a nervously horny passenger car driver on the right side of the road and cut and overtaken directly at the intersection. Fortunately, the passenger car driver had the same driving destination – Heddesheim/Bergstrasse. We both met in a parking lot. After my polite question “what was going on?” an older gentleman answered me about 70 in an educational tone “You are obliged to drive right.” So, each of you who feels like an equivalent road user: please pay attention to a silver fern VW with the vehicle registration mark OG-HP 1936, space Offenburg ! If you know this driver, please send a greeting from all motorcycle drivers.
