  • Motorcycle theft – rn19 stolen and now?

Servus together, I’ve been registered here for a long time, but rather passively active. I’ll be brief: I drove the first 5 years after the show ne xvs1100 and changed this summer to the 08er r1. Vll is an untypical change, but the xvs thanked my driving style and the r1 then showed me that I’m actually not a long talk short sense, the part is no longer in front of my house door. so off to the police and the loss reported. only apparently (google helps) it’s in mod e come to pick up super athletes and new machines just a few months after the registration directly from the house door. seem to have shady design contact to intermediaries in the registration office, who will be happy to help you. enough of file x… vll I get the bulk refund, but that is already a murky feeling to drive a moto gently, so that now someone else can put on his fear-stained ass. but what the devil should I at the next mo should I get the new fireblade now and hope that everyone will find it too ugly to steal? no now without joke. I don’t want to do without the bike ride and move is also not easily feasible. how do you secure your bikes? with nem lock like in good old children’s days on mountainbike? can unfortunately also rather not hammer anything in the ground, which belongs to the federation (the people with the weapons) how useful are alarm systems on the motorcycle? and how useful is the alarm system if it is when I am on vacation? my neighbours only hear what I cause in terms of noise… unfortunately have no garage and just a slightly oppressive feeling for the future. feel like a used parts and motor vehicle exchange. after all, half a mill at my cost now seems to have electrochrome mirrors on their bmws and someone a r1 more (although I doubt that the machine is still on German floor, and if she is, then in single parts) without giving me even more air, because the whole bissi eats me would be very grateful for experiences or tips. how best to secure your motorcycle?

  • Virago squirts

Hello We have bought a Virago now.EZ is 95 km stand 20000.The test drive went perfectly, except for some traces of use the bike is ok.After the re-registration I wanted to take a small exit and stated the following: After the cold start it squealed from the exhaust about 1 to 2 minutes, after that it was normal. At the speed of more than 100 kmh the machine starts to jerk as if there is a speed limiter installed.

  • Derust and seal tank

Unfortunately, it turns out that the tank is rusted inside of my motorcycle. I want to have it rusted and sealed now. Has anyone had any experience with it?

  • Yamaha Mt03 swing still in order?

Hello I have a question and that’s what I laid down my MT03 (2016) almost a month ago unintentionally and the exhaust has pressed into the swing. I’m not sure now if I should change the swinger because it is actually only a small delle.. However, I want to be more sure with the swinger, it would be a saving of 500€ from that would pay off already. I hope I come here to a few opinions as I really do The workshop in which I parked my Yamaha after the accident already said that it should be changed but to this workshop I have no real trust. Many thanks in advance best greeting Daniel

  • Desperate with DT80!

Hello together! As the title already says, I am so slowly really despairing with my DT. And it always ran very hard, mostly first push through, on. So, now I actually thought the problem would be solved with a new spark plug. So new ordered u built in. With the new ZK it ran also without murmuring, as from the previous usual on the first light kick. Also after the turn off, and some time wait, it still jumped well. Even the following day yet. But: Since yesterday she murmurs again again. Came only by pushing quite hard. Twitched time and again briefly, u went out promptly again. ZK times unscrewed, u was totally wet. Spark very well visible. Now again a dry candle in u she jumped in with the light kick. Also with this, used ZK she ran again yesterday perfectly. So now I definitely exclude ZK/Züdung as error! Does anyone have the same phenomenon with his moped or some helpful tip ?? The whole would not be so tragic in principle, if I didn’t have to go to the TÜV with her, it’s rather bad if you have to change the CC there. Mfg u nice we!

  • Yamaha XS 650 – new cylinder head, engine does not start

The following problem has occupied me for days: I changed the cylinder head on my XS650 and reassembled the thing properly. Now the part doesn’t start. Except two or three loud false ignitions on both cylinders – real shots – nothing happens. I have set both valves and ignition. However, I have to say the following: when setting the interrupter for the left cylinder, I’m not sure if I’m the right point for the When does this take place? 180 degrees after the opening of the interrupter for the right cylinder? At the setting ignition for left cylinder, the test lamp lights up too early if the marking is about one centimetre to the left of the early ignition marking. This cannot be changed, even by turning the disc. I suspect that I am making some fundamental mistake, and I would be very grateful if someone would give me a Before the cylinder head installation everything worked normal. I disassembled the ignition plate into the individual parts to clean it and replace the screws. Thanks Peter
