Servus together from Athens. I need a few tips from you and that’s what I plan to get a used Virtago. Now I’m thinking about whether a 125 or 250er. Here in Greece I find hardly 125er and the 250er are mostly to get with an average of 25 – 30,000 KM, at a price of about 1,200 – 1,500 €, but also well received. For this price range I get in Germanistan several 125er with 15,000 KM. My concerns are now following, i It is advisable to buy 250er with the mentioned 30,000, without expecting any bigger problems in the future, or should I rather buy a 125 and then register it here below. With regard to the use it is so that I do not use the Schnauferl every day, but only to relax along the coastal roads and find one or other beautiful bathing bay. I do not want to heat through the area, but just enjoy. Wel You would rather recommend this model, also with regard to the already run KM performances. Thanks for your tips Pavlos

  • Help with vehicle selection needed.

Hello dear motor talk community. I’m looking for a second motorcycle, which is reliable and brings me some kilometers to work. I hate to need my Speed Triple. Weather-friendly should be the planer and reliable natural… Meanwhile I’m ready that I would like to take an Enduro or Supermoto, preferably around 2000€, age is secondary in itself. Can you recommend the Yamaha XT 600 or 660 to me? What about the competition from the motor talk community? use KTM, Suzuki or MZ… Would really need some decision-making help. I am grateful for any answer and opinion.

Can someone advise me which brand etc. I should take……The previous owner meant with Dunlop rocking the bike quite strongly…… There are certainly riders, who also the original tire fa A remodeling on Deget is out of the question…… Greetings of the Nubi

  • OEL FOR Thunderace

Hello all Thunderace drivers who can tell me which oil I should use for my Thunderace.I’ve let myself be told that it makes a lot of difference which oil you use, e.g. when switching the gears, it’s loud and I find the motto a bit restless at all. _Thank you in advance for your help._

  • Thunderace control chain tensioner

Evening, does someone have experience with a retrofitted mechanical control chain tensioner ? For example, that one here: http://www.dzt-power.de/shop/images/medium/stracket tensioner2.jpg At my ACE, the control chain starts to hit when the engine has reached about 75-80 degrees, the original tensioner consisting of only 2 springs, which probably lose tension at temperature. I think it is the control chain, it sounds like a light rattle with h Under 70 degrees the sound is almost gone and in the cold state it is impossible to hear at all. But I exclude valves, which has only recently been discontinued, it does not sound like a ticking. Exup ? …. I don’t believe either… LG X_One

  • Xj 600 Diversion Used purchase

Hello together, as a new entrant after 11 years of break I am looking for a cheap and reliable motorcycle. Since I want to keep my budget relatively small (just want to find out if I have the fun again and the time on the motorcycle as before) only older machines come into question. In the closer selection is an Xj 600 Diversion, built 93, 39 tkm run, 2nd hand, well maintained condition (which I can judge), made by the dealer (all inspections and fresh Checked in the workshop), HU and AU new, unrestricted 61 HP, case carrier system (but without suitcase) for € 1,500. OK the color is not the hit: LILA, but I can live with it. Is the price of your opinion right. I think, for a machine from the dealer (who also has to live from what) quite within the scope. And if I notice after the season that I want to have something else, I think I can sell it again for around the € 1,000 (badest) and relatively little Is the Xj to be described as reliable (as I said, I am a beginner and at that time only a year on the XV 535 Virago driven by my brother) ?? To the test drive I wanted to take a friend who has been riding a motorcycle for years and certainly notice more than I (who has to find his way back in the saddle). However, he advises grds. from an old machine and thinks, prefer to buy a newer significantly younger one and then have rest. Just I want to have sovie I don’t spend money. Until then, thank you for reading through and for your answers.

  • 535 Virago and throttle

Hello guys, I unfortunately have to throttle my Virago again due to a small problem (long history) … What I don’t find so bad, but there are a few minor changes: bigger tank, other fork, new brakes etc. I wanted to ask if I can compensate the performance deficit by another pinion, a little bit? Since I want to put a few Killo on the balance again and still want to keep the suit. Oh yes, where I mention the fork. Someone knows, which stronger forks can I use? Ok, thank you Dresser
