But now to the actual question: must be stated when selling, whether the vehicle was a rental car? Hello, last Friday my car sold to two Italians who made a funny impression, because they insisted that after my car was cancelled, a copy of my father’s identity card is absolutely needed. Apparently it would not be possible to re-register the car in Italy. I did not feel very comfortable and after a long time decided that I did not have a copy of the personnel certificate. In general, the gentlemen had made a few contradictory statements in advance, which is why I was skeptical at the beginning. Whether the identity card of the previous holder is really needed for the registration of a car, I could not find anywhere on the Internet. What strengthened my assumption again. What do you think? Could this be some kind of brain-dead scam?

Hello, since my car has been paid off since July 2021, I have been wondering all the time if I should keep the car or not. It is a Mitsubishi Lancer 1.6 with 117hp, built in 2015 and approx. 161tkm on the tacho. I bought it in 2018 with 47tkm for just under 11.000€. So far, apart from the usual wear parts, no large repairs had occurred, until 3 weeks ago. Three weeks ago someone drove on my parked car, the report resulted in damage in the amount of on 1746,23€ and a replacement value of 500€. How would you judge the whole thing now? Sell the car, have the damage repaired and continue driving, or have the money paid out, have the money repaired cheaper somewhere else and then continue driving? The vehicle still has Polish papers, and the registration office no longer registers the vehicle, or places it still. So here stands a BMW Z3 with Polish papers. How can one clarify the facts.

Data about the car: – VW Up (60 HP), EZ 06/2014, I am 2nd hand – Model Cup up! – Kilometerstand 95.000km – New Michelin all-year tires on 15 to VW wheels – no technical maintenance stowage – Service booklet after guarantee end not “officially” maintained, since service works like filters, brakes or spark plugs were carried out in own control.
