  • ’96 Mazda 626 GE, what do you pay attention to when selling?

In my opinion, I would like to get rid of Mazda, which is relatively scrapy. I’d recently had problems that were described in detail in an old thread. It would be cool if someone could tell me what to expect for a mill like this. I would have now expected vlt €250, no idea if something like this is being slaughtered or if the last life third is being spent in Africa. However, the more important question for me is: What do I have to do when selling a car, especially via eBay Kl The car has been unregistered since New Year’s Eve. Is there any meshes that I have to fear? I’m on the way, maybe upload some more pictures later. Thanks for reading.

  • Sell a car, but don’t sign off until weeks later?

Allen a nice morning, sorry if this question has been asked many times, but have found nothing specific for something to look for. I want to sell my car, have already a buyer the next week with a transporter from Poland wants to arrive to pick it up. The car is still registered and ready to drive, but the TÜV has expired and it does not come through the TÜV any more. My plan is the following: * Short test drive with buyer (the car may be driven another month) * Contract of purchase and handing over money in cash (the amount is relatively small) * I keep license plates and license plates, the buyer receives the car letter * Buyer loads car onto the transporter and disappears * I report the car officially to the registration office on presentation of the license plate and the license plates. Unfortunately, the last point is not so easy because I got an appointment at the registration office only in 4 weeks (!). Is this procedure even okay? Thanks for all the answers!

  • Car dealers sell exclusively to business owners in order not to give any guarantee

Hello dear community, I have come across a strange case today and would like to hear your opinion on this. I am interested in a vehicle purchase and have come across a car dealer who sells his vehicles, which are older than 5 years, exclusively to “trade/trade or professional”. On the phone he told me that he does not want to guarantee these vehicles and therefore sells them exclusively to the above mentioned group of persons. His exact wording was “Other call All of Ali’s come to me and suddenly they come around the corner with their 9 cousins.” That means to me in reverse that I couldn’t take him for any defects, because the sale was between business and business. So I have no claims in the first place if the vehicle causes problems. Apart from his very questionable statement: Is his approach clean? Does not this increase the risk of a purchase enormously, as I did with additional costs afterwards. e? Thank you for your support. Best regards, Mistaken_Identity

  • Selling car to Romania, customs code = deregistration?

Hello dear ones! Today we have had a visit from two Romanians who would love to buy our car and have already paid for it. They want to pay it as quickly as possible, but we do not have the plan there. The gentleman works in Germany, but lives well in Romania and would like to allow it there. He has an appointment on 02.11. in the registration authority in the city of his work and has assured us that he would give it there with customs identification and then bring it to Romania. But we don’t know how all this works, we first refused that he will take the car with us. Within Germany we have no problem with selling a car registered. But if it goes to another country, we prefer to exercise caution, even if the two were very nice. My question would be: If we drive the car registered to him, if he has the date on 02.11 for the customs registration marks, then the car will be automatically logged off from us ? I didn’t find any information about this in the net. So is: customs code = deregistration from the previous holder? Because then we could bring him the car registered for the appointment, he fetches the customs code, it is deregistered from us and both parties are happy. We would drive back home and he can continue to follow his plans. Thanks already

  • Car Purchased by Private – Finded after-scarry accident damage

Good day, a few days ago I bought a second-hand car (W202/C180/1995) from Private. It was described as accident-free, it is also in the purchase contract. In addition, there was a thick folder with all the bills they have incurred since repurchase. Now I have browsed this folder out of interest and have seen that an accident report from 2002 is about 3000€. Looks after sheet metal damage on the right side. Now my question is, which possibilities do I have? I don’t necessarily have to withdraw from the purchase, but I would never have paid the agreed price if I had known about the accident. How can I hold the previous owner to account for it? On the one hand he had said invoice in possession and could have known about it, on the other hand the invoice was also available when I bought the car and I could have seen it myself. Of course I didn’t go through every single page of the folder when I bought it. Logically, the seller could not have known about it either, because he didn’t have to worry about 200 pages of invoices. On the basis of the documentation, however, I would assume that the first owner would not have kept this secret. The purchase contract from 1st to 2nd hand was also not in the folder, even if I have no idea if something like this would necessarily be shown to the buyer. How would you proceed? Turn on a lawyer? Contact the seller? es da rechtlich aus? If I am not in the right subforum, please excuse me. This one worked most appropriate. I will thank you in advance for all helpful answers. Greetings, CraBz

  • Car sale from private to private to Denmark. Responsible court

I sold a vehicle with a purchase contract to Denmark. A down payment was agreed and the down payment was made by the buyer. As delivery date from vehicle location Germany it was agreed that the collection of the used vehicle can take place if the new vehicle ordered by the seller was handed over to him. However, this took too long for the buyer. The buyer from Denmark has now announced that he wants the down payment back. I then offered him that He can pick up the vehicle immediately and the remaining payment is due. There is no reaction According to German law, I could now set a period of 14 days for non-payment and then file a lawsuit if the buyer does not pay the vehicle and loses it. Since the buyer is Danish, however, the question remains: Is a court in Germany competent for the reminder or possible lawsuit or should the lawsuit be filed in Denmark. Can someone help here in the forum? Thanks for a Info!

  • BMW 318 ti compact Built 94

The above mentioned car is owned by distant relatives (both distantly related as well as far away). Due to illness the car must now go away – the man had a severe stroke, wife and son do not need the car. To the condition I can say nothing, I would say normal. The car is since 99 in her possession and has almost 112,000 km on it. A local workshop, where the car was always for repair and inspection, offered 2,000 euros, but the woman dreams of meh r (unfortunately an incurable illness in the family – who think that all commodities gain in value over time, do not lose)… That they sell the car on the free market (the usual platforms like mobile) themselves, but I do not trust it. What do you mean at the price? Somehow ok? Unfortunately, I only know about the car that it is red. I hope that I get the chassis number for the days to at least find out what it has in equipment. I hope not – the woman doesn’t even have a smartphone.

  • Manufacturer warranty for sale and tips

Hello motor friends, I am just slightly overwhelmed, is my first car sale. I would like to sell my VW UP. I am already second owner. The vehicle comes from a 2-year private leasing. The previous owner had chosen a “connection guarantee, duration 3 years following the manufacturer’s warranty, maximum total running power 100 000 km”. The VW dealer has transferred this warranty to me, i.e. the car has still until 2021 connection guarantee. If I now priv the car at sell, the connection guarantee is forfeited by the dealer or? If I would write in to the purchase contract “Connection guarantee until 2021” I give the guarantee as a private person, i.e. in case of a problem the buyer will come to me?? And another question: Am I on the safe side with the purchase contracts of Autoscout or Mobile, or do I still have to pay attention to something. I don’t want the buyer to come to me with a gear damage and then I have to pay it s. And how do you do this most usefully with the registration of the vehicle. The interested one certainly wants to make a test drive. That means I first have the car registered. If he then buys it directly and takes it with me I can not immediately unsubscribe!? Does he then have to drive away with my license plates? Thank you for your help.

  • Burner no more value in a few years?

Hello dear forum community, since the road to electric mobility is absolutely focused by politics and thus also fuel becomes more expensive, I have so slowly worried that used burners in a few years have hardly any value due to the high maintenance. In addition, most car manufacturers have announced from about the middle of the decade almost exclusively to build and develop electric cars. Don’t get me wrong I’m actually open there, only I have the e Fear that the value of my used car and that of many others will simply fall massively. What I have to say is that we will still have long burners, that many people do not have the opportunity to charge your electric car at home etc. And charging on the way takes always a while so it is not necessarily everyday suitable for the most of them yet. Do you think my fear is justified or did I think about short term? n. FredST P.S. I hope I’ve met the right forum otherwise would like to postpone.

  • Renault Megane 3 Combi Diesel with Awesome Sell

So, since I finally get my new used car on Saturday, I can sell my unloved Megane. Short description: Turbodiesel (1.5 dci with 106 hp, Euro5, DPF), Kombi, just under 265 TKM, 2zone climate, TÜV/AU 5/23. Lack has various scratches (but no bumps and/or rust!), the windshield is also not as good as new, aluminum rims are smashed, engine or turbocharger causes problems: in the range between approx. 1900 and 2100 rpm. too low charging pressure (where I don’t know if it’s on The valve of the adjustment lies, on the turbocharger itself or whether the electronics are crazy), at the cold start rougher, unround motor run (depends on 1-2 minutes), flaps from the front axle (probably coupling rod – the TÜV tester had nothing to complain about), brakes had to become new at the front. Timing belt change theoretically in 50 TKM. Brakes at the rear, hand brake rope, a suspension spring and shock absorber at the front were new about 3 months ago; shock absorbers at the rear and another suspension spring v or about 1/2 year. Otherwise the car drives without problems and does not drink (consumption good 5 l / 100 km, highway). The gearbox can be switched precisely and cleanly. Now the question is: a) how much can I still demand? So 2,800 € would be a dream, 2,500 € beautiful. b) how do I sell it best? First the various flag dealers rattle off? We-buy-your-car? Insert on the well-known platforms (as a hobby / export car)? Actually I wanted the car to the bitter end f ahren – but above all the hard, polterige suspension as well as the loud rolling noise (no insulated wheelhouses) bother me animally! In addition also various other quirks and nerves…
