  • Buyers from Holland

Hello to each other, my car will be looked at by a private person from Holland the next week. What do I have to pay attention to? The buyer wants to make a test drive in advance so he will stay logged in for the time being. But if I decide to do so I would have to sign off the car first or? Or is it enough if he then registers the car with him with an export license plate?

  • Selling a car or still driving?

Hello together, I’ve been thinking a lot lately about whether it makes sense to sell my car or drive it until there’s a bigger repair and I’m going to sell it. What would you do in that case? About 5 years ago I bought a VW Touran 2.0TDI (Bj 2011,140Ps) because of family growth, I like the car very much in itself but in the 5 years there was always something going on and I therefore lost confidence in the car or fear of the next g repairs such as soot particulate filters, turbochargers, AGR valve ….. Through the repairs (air conditioning compressor,…) and the usual maintenance/wear parts (dental belts,…) I have put a lot of money into it in the last years, which is why I think on the one hand, however, that I sell it because of the kilometers (240000km) on the other. Now the big service is up again, brakes ahead and I’m not sure if I want to invest that yet. I have to say that the next Car because of my finances (up to 800€) also becomes one with more kilometers, however I only look for up to 160000km but my work path has been significantly shortened (up to 25km). A free dealer on site has just made a Ford Focus tournament 1.6 TDCi, with 150000km, year 2011,2 years warranty, everything new for 700€. I like the car although I have no experience with Ford, but I can not really decide! Is same old, but less kilometers, everything made,2 years G arantie…… If another offer comes in between that I like, I would also take another manufacturer, I am not bound! What do you think?

  • Mercedes 201 / Sales are due

Hello, we are big fans of Merc 190 / 201 and have just recently added a “new old” ( 190er ) in dark blue (!). Now we have three Mercs and want to sell one of them over short or long. I am a little irritated about the VB or even fixed prices in the forums. There want some 6 / 7000 Euro for their 201, engine power 350000, Tüv until October. Ok, are maybe dream prices. But I would like to hear from you, as far as it goes. The car i a W 201, built in 1985, 355000 ran, Tüv acceptance was in May or June, I would have to look again. Runs nicely, is pleased about outlet over the highway, where he drives with tailwind 180 +. Has always stood in the garage, NR vehicle, everything, which happens with this species so. The TÜV man was quite impressed. From inside well preserved, from outside no museum piece, but also does not have to be ashamed. No rust, no dents, but the paint is in some places We could also keep it, but we had “only” two garages, so we had to put it in another way and then we had to log it off. So we don’t need it, but if the car came into good hands that would be better. And then we would like to get a reasonable price. I can’t serve with pictures at the moment. But I can do it afterwards. First of all, thank you very much for reading. And a nice evening n Mrs Gummersbach

  • Car sales – no interested parties

Hello, I have now set my BMW for sale for the third time at Classifieds and Mobile. Like the last times, there are calls and also a few that have put the vehicle on their watch list, but not a single request. In the family we have sold 4 vehicles in this price range privately in the last 3 years and there have always been daily inquiries directly after hiring. The vehicle is unfortunately already from fourth hand (1st: until 2016 Leasing, 2nd: until 20 20 older lady, 3.: private holder, 4.: me). Since I have never had a vehicle with more than two previous owners in front of me, I now ask myself whether this could be the problem? In total, I invested in the BMW about 23,000 EUR purchase price still 5,000 EUR in repairs and the summer bikes with an annual drive of 45,000 km (had it for quite exactly one year). But now I drive at most 1x per week 20-30km with it to Berlin (the train is more pleasant with the whole construction work). For the short distances I don’t think the big diesel is done. What do you think is the reason for the missing requests and what would bother you, would you look for such a model? The link to the vehicle:https://suche.mobile.de/vehicles/details.html?id=372552748 Thank you in advance. LG

  • Buyer makes a complaint about fraud. Please ask for your opinion

Private seller sells car with notice (following damage ) engine inspectors on, paint defect tailgate. Optical condition visible in display Mobile. Vehicle is 15 years old and has almost 143000 km on the clock. No TÜV and stand about 1st year what was indicated in Mobile. Buyer got car and could not confirm to the seller on site whether and what was actually repaired or what is still broken. Buyer accepted this (the vehicle is visited as well as under Aus car was indicated for 2500VHB and was sold for 130€ because you could not confirm what the car has everything, except that the engine control lights up and the paint error you have noted otherwise you have agreed on the favorable price because you can not guarantee or say what the car still has. Now calls buyer and says fraud.Turbo is not right, electronics problems. Now seller does not understand the world. r worry or why is one so ? Only almost 1200€ to subside because one cannot confirm defects and now something like that? Ask for your opinion:

  • Buyer does not declare car as agreed

Hello, I recently sold a vehicle. Purchase agreement is available. I photographed the buyer’s identity card when it was on test drive. This looked serious. Buyer would have to unsubscribe the car within 3 days according to contract. Now this does not report any more, questioning if I can reach it again. Insurance and registration office I already informed about the sale on the day of the sale. The insurance terminated the contract the next day. i can’t reach the buyer anymore. How do I proceed? Criminal notice? ID card is available (if it’s real at all…) What if the buyer is building an accident? The insurance is terminated. So far I have always sold off – probably should have kept it.

  • Alternative payment

Moin, wants to sell my vehicle and an interested person who lives about 500 km away. We had talked to each other on the phone and among other things about how he gets the car home as uncomplicated as possible. The car is logged off and he would have to get a short-term registration to then be able to transfer it. But that seems to be complicated in the area of Berlin or would probably last longer (term problems) Now he suggests, the car in advance by overtime I would have to tell an unknown person my account details. Feels not good for me. I have asked him for a scan of his ID card. Do you still have another way of pre-payment, where I do not have to disclose my IBAN? Only by sending a letter, or ?

  • Questions about the transfer of a privately sold car

Hello, I am currently selling my Opel Astra K and would like to achieve the following: 1. The transfer should pass through the buyer, who travels to me and then “takes” the car. 2. The transfer to a different federal state than mine. 3. The car should not be registered with me during this journey. I would like to log it off beforehand. I can achieve this with a short-term registration mark, which the buyer applies in advance in his city and then arrives at my place, right? For this, insurance is necessary to get this short-term registration mark, the journey is insured with it. Do I understand that correctly? Or do I have a mistake in thinking? Thanks in advance! • BMW 520d Touring – Your assessment and help

Hello together, we enjoyed a new car and therefore have to sell our present room miracle with a heavy heart. So don’t have to. But three cars you don’t really need and it’s already around capital. Anyway, I advertised it nicely at mobile and autoscout, after I looked at (as I thought) comparable cars. Here it fluctuates between approx. 12 and 15k. At wkda (the thread I have already read and can only agree) I am offered 9,100 . I think that’s a bit ridiculous. abracar doesn’t exist anymore and otherwise you can hear from wiveda from time to time. What is a realistic selling price for you? Both at private and at dealers? I don’t have to give it to a dealer, but it’s always more comfortable to save yourself the “what last price?”. So if a (you know better about this) possible difference of e.g. 2k between UK private and merchant is, I would think about whether I vlt But I just hope you’ll find your recommendations. The mentioned sweetheart can be found here:https://suchen.mobile.de/…/details.html?… I’m also happy about tips on what else to improve in the listing or I may have forgotten. VG bendes

  • Private car sales with consequences

Hi guys, I sold my car private about 5 months ago. The buyers (a family) came by and looked at the car and also drove rehearsals. The buyers had bizarre ideas about the purchase. They thought they wanted to take the car to their main workshop, the bizarre thing is that I live in Munich and lived these 2-3 hours away from me. Since the buyers thought that they absolutely wanted the car and talked to me in the conscience, I wanted to know if When we were there, the buyer hardly asked the car mechanic anything and didn’t pay attention to it (the car mechanic was also not really enthusiastic about his behavior). The car was then driven test and after eternal unspeakable back and forth (unspeakable renegotiation, indirect threats that if the car was what he quickly got back with me. he then bought the car. In the purchase contract was explicitly “sale with the conclusion of all material defects liability and guarantee” & “buried as seen”. After a month the buyer reported and said that there was oil on the engine. I then said that I had never had problems with oil loss and it is probably only oil which was spilled during the oil change because I had this shortly before the purchase made again so that it in the advertisement e now the buyer said that he had the car at his main workshop and he believes it was the cylinder head seal. I then told him that I can’t imagine that because I was only 1-2 months before selling the car at the TÜV and he looked at the thoroughness and there was nothing and I really never had a problem with my car. I told him if there really was a problem with the cylinder head seal, I would also meet him and We could find a solution together. Since nothing more of him heard. After 5 months he writes to me now that the car has a motor damage. Now my question: Does he have any legal claims? Does the clause with exclusion of any liability for material defects bring me something? Do you think this is a scam? He had the car checked at the workshop and then did not report and suddenly the car is broken. I thank you already in advance for your hi lfe. Yours sincerely
