  • Disabled child – tax reduction for parents?

Hello people, one question: My daughter has a disability and the mark “Helpless”. According to this link someone with mark H yes is entitled to a reduction of the car tax. Does this also apply if the parents hold the car and the child has mark H? What about the insurance, are there similar regulations? Thank you Marco

  • Disabled people benefit from the scrapping premium ???

The scrapping premium is now on everyone’s lips. It is sold as the success of the media. My opinion is disabled people do not benefit from it in any way. A disabled person who is already about 10 years old his car and decides to buy a new car or to buy a new one with a cost carrier due to the age. With the cost carrier the scrapping premium would count on the subsidy of up to 9500 €. Manufacturer the cheap small cars a offer are in the rarest cases suitable for the above-mentioned group of persons. 1. How do you think about the scrapping premium ? 2. Is it a great thing especially for disabled people ?

  • Off- Topic- Disabled Car Driving

Dear readers of this forum, I am addressing a question to you/uch, to which I have not yet found a (qualified) answer on the web: I have been paralyzed since an accident, I have a correspondingly converted vehicle in which despite switching to manual operation theoretically gas and brake can also be operated by foot. When I was on the road with a former friend abens and it was about the topic “home driving”, we actually got tired, whether my girlfriend as a nich Is it possible for a disabled person to drive a disabled person with my disabled person’s converted vehicle, legally speaking? She would have no problem having all the physical skills to safely control the car. But can she do so too? Can a disabled person drive a disabled person’s converted car? And even if I am sitting next to it? Or is it a /no problem in general? Conversely, the situation is also legally clear, but can the reverse be drawn from it? because if I should have a friend who doesn’t have a car (and not like me sitting in a wheelchair), that would affect him too… I really look forward to answering my question and thank you for the opportunity to exchange views here in this nice forum, Lisa

  • Handicap conversion Smart?

Hey, I would like to use a SMART as a barrier-free vehicle. Here it would be about a rear entrance to the passenger side with an electric wheelchair (so via a rail … see picture)http://bildupload.sro.at/a/images/140-Unnamed.JPG The problem is designed at the high loading edge of the SMART. There would probably have to be a tuner/transmitter. Could you perhaps call me addresses/contacts who would operate such a high conversion effort? (Paravan I already ang efragt) Thank you for your help Greetings Brezzer

  • handwritten authorisation card

Once I had seen a parking space instructor at a supermarket reopening, who obviously had the task of assigning cars willing to park to parking spaces. There was also a signposted disabled parking space, which nobody used that evening – but then when a stone-old, white 123er coupé (was around 2000) approached, he wrote a handbill and handed it to the driver, who did not exactly look disabled, with the hand movement, that she could park there quietly. When I looked at the car that was parked there out of curiosity, it was written on the note: “This car with the license plate … can be parked here …. e.g. XXX, YYY Security…” – I was missing the words. Was/is that something at all right?

  • Auto Raise

I would be interested to know if there are any manufacturers, similar to those in the lower case, who offer kits for a raise? But I think less of off-road vehicles or SUVs but of “very normal” cars. The background is that my parents (both 75) don’t get into deep cars as well. That’s why they bought a Kia Picanto 2 years ago, which is already a bit higher (and also more handy, with automatic, many more convenient). In the meantime they prefer to drive with me, because my matrix is still a bit higher and you can sit in with normal-angled legs, but I think it’s better if they use their own car. What could I do or where do I have to look to find a corresponding elevation (which, by the way, would also interest me in the matrix, too at least to the HA, because it often hangs in the “knees” because of Gas system, AHK and loading). Does anyone have a price idea of what would cost such a thing? What does everything have to be done? Is the exchange from the springs enough or would there be greater constructive effort necessary? Thanks and Gruss GM

  • Wheelchair loading in vans, T5, Viano etc.

Hi together, I have used a Carolift 6900 so far for the loading of my electric wheelchair into a VW-Caddy Maxi. I have set pictures under my then contribution to the Carolift 6000 and 6900 respectively. Now I say goodbye to my Caddy. Do not ask for the reasons. I am now looking for information about the loading of mainly heavy electric wheelchairs in Van, like the VW Multivan T5 or the Mercedes Viano. I have looked at the usual pages in the net shcon. I’m happy if you could present your loading system with your own pictures as much as possible. I’m interested in e.g. the underfloor cassette lift K90 (side sliding door) or a linear platform lift (vehicle rear or sliding door). Do you have pictures of this – which vehicle you drive? What are your experiences with the lifts ? (winter, curb, reliability, etc.) My E-Rolli : a Meyra Optimus II with electric legrests weighs 150 kg and is really quite large. kurkassettelift carries 300 kg and the linearlifter about 350 kg. The linearlifter is also available with split platform, which then works sideways into the vehicle. In addition, there are probably two different suppliers of linearlifter. Bruns and Apen. What are your experiences? LG JoJoMS

  • Health check for drivers

Hello, what do you say about the new proposals that older drivers should undergo a health check in the future. The SPD brings into play every 15 years (that maybe starting from 80), others are similar for a check as with the truckers, every 5 years. History certainly also affects many disabled drivers. I am already in favour, but the modalities still have to be determined. I also plead for a regular repetition of the first-aid course. It. As far as health is concerned, I know a lot of older drivers who don’t use their glasses out of vanity, for example, except for the other infirmities (kicks on the passenger seat). Young people, on the other hand, often ride quite cool with sunglasses and full of music-drums at night. That means there is at least some need for discussion. Greetings by Albfan

  • Sale of converted Passat Combi automatic

Hello, I have a few problems with the sale of a disabled just unbuilt passats, year 2/2009 and only 9200km. My father was paralyzed after a truck accident (work accident) and got some subsidies from the BG to his car. Unfortunately he died half a year ago and my mother doesn’t need such a big car and can’t afford it financially anymore. So I try to sell it. My most important question is, what can the The car was converted for 16500€ and there was an additional grant of 7600€. He received the grant because he did not take an electric wheelchair or something like that. It was bought in February 2009 and rebuilt in June. The BG subsidized with the clause that the car must be driven at least 5 (??? am not quite sure) years before my father could sell it. That’s only 2.5 years ago and now the BG demands a return payment. Is that okay? Isn’t this clause “failed” with my father’s death? The funny thing about it is, for the expensive conversion, they don’t seem to want a refund. I think that’s strange! I don’t know where to turn and my mom is clearly overwhelmed. Another question is where to advertise the car best. I’d be grateful for your advice and maybe I’m lucky and it’s interesting. If one of you takes care of the car, I’ll be happy to post the vehicle data and some more photos. Bye and thank you Semmy
