After hibernation I had to buy the bike a new battery because the old one didn’t want any more. I noticed after the installation that the ABS kept flashing…., well, it used to do so several times before, when the battery was not fully charged. In the meantime also had to go to the TÜV, which refused me the stamp, however, because my ABS lamps kept flashing. Meanwhile, I also had a few meters m but my ABS still doesn’t want to. But now to my problem: I found out tonight that my ABS works when I push my motorcycle! Yes, you read right, have pushed my motorcycle on the mountain and look, ABS checkers are out. Can anyone help me? I don’t understand that. Thanks Klaus

Help, my ABS won’t turn on!!!!!!
Hello, I have a problem with my R 1100 RT. Since I was too lazy to expand my gel battery over the winter and charge it, it seems to have broken.I noticed it when I wanted to start my machine for the first time and it didn’t do anything.Zündung there, but battery too weak.It only clacked when I started. No problem I thought, then I just charge it.After charging the machine immediately jumped on again, but since then the ABS doesn’t turn on anymore. There are not both lamps flashing at the same time, but in the change. I have a motorcycle dealer and battery voltage checked. He said to me, but it is not enough to start for the ABS. So maybe a few chambers could be broken. So I bought a brand new gel battery.I was already happy to drive again. Also jump on immediately, but the ABS still doesn’t work,Shit!!!!!! Now my question.I have to go to the dealer again the Fe Did I have the battery completely empty at the time and it clacked so funny that the relay broke? What could it be? Maybe someone could help me, that would be nice!!!!!!!! Gruss Jürgen

Hello Leuts, HELP bought me a BMW R1100RS. Built:8/93 64000KM was 11 years in the possession of a gentleman at the age of 58. Top condition very well maintained Price 290€ When I was there to inspect them and make a short test drive everything was ok. I heard a lot about a slight grinding of the clutch in idle, I asked and they told me that would be normal you can adjust to the clutch. When I pulled this was also away. Now I bought the BMW and drove home with it yesterday. many arrived to me that the sound was still louder now that the oil was warm,is rather already clapping and when I pull the clutch it is gone. What can this clutch break?????????????? Will the expensive????? or nothing and wait??? Thank you for reply Greeting

BMW S1000R vs Kawasaki Z1000
Servus, as you can already conclude from the title, I am looking for a new motorcycle, I want to buy it again, the BMW S1000R and the Kawasaki Z1000 are available to choose from. I started with a CBR600RR, then switched over to the Fireblade and now I am looking for something new and more comfortable. My Sozia never had problems with the Fireblade and also really liked to ride along, that should not change with the new machine. That’s why she should be cozy r as the old one, which definitely shouldn’t be a problem As I said, I have now shot myself on these two machines since Yamaha with your MT-10 needs unfortunately still some time until this then comes on the market. I would be happy if you would share your opinions, reviews with me and would support me in this purchase already many thanks to all of you.

BMW R1100R Start problems
Hello guys, I had to leave my BMW R1100R in front of the house over the winter. Since December 1st it was not moved anymore. I had a plan to protect it. Now I wanted to start it again in early March, but it doesn’t make any noise. Last week I got a load and this: Link Today I jammed the charger 5 hours to the battery and hoped that something would happen. The control lights and the light would go (also before charging) ) but if I turn the toggle switch to start the motorcycle then unfortunately nothing happens. Actually, when the toggle switch is pressed, there is always a noise to hear, even that doesn’t come. (You certainly know better about the toggle switch before you start). My last hope now that it starts when I can bridge it over a car and at least start the engine. I’m a little afraid that something is wrong with the ignition. could the spark plug be broken there? Can I check and change it myself? Unfortunately, I can’t get the machine into the workshop without driving it myself I’m grateful for every tip Many greetings and a good start a week. Derk

R100R clutch grinds in idle
Hello, I am a newcomer with two left hands 4 years ago I bought a R100R with 60 HP , built in 1992 and had so far no problems with driving or technology. On the weekend I was on the road again and after I put it back at home, I noticed the following. In the idle “grinds” apparently the clutch (it sounds grinding) and the rear wheel always runs a toesal (motor wheel is on the main stand). I pull the clutch (also in the L My question: Has something serious broken here or do I just have to “set up” something by the expert. I am not exactly a master craftsman, as I said, can someone please give me an information. Thanks Jürgen

Purchase decision the 1000.
Hello, I’m finally about to buy a “new” BMW. So far I’m driving the R 1100 R and am very happy with BMW, so it’s supposed to be BMW again. Now I’m swung between the R 1200 RT and the R 1200 GS. I’m both tested and excited by both. Technically, all this has been chewed through 1000 times, even if maintained with 150 kkm no problem and so on. It’s all clear to me. I just miss the last impulse. I live in Dresden, therefore very close to the mountains to the bend, which speaks for the GS first. Right? But now I originally come from Bremen and drive the track several times a year with the motorcycle. On the R I have partly missed the weather and wind protection really. Sprache with it again more for the RT. suitcases etc I will want to have with both. I drive relatively! Much, namely so about 10 kkm per year. I am just torn back and forth. Maybe here I get an impulse in the right direction. ng. LG

Battery in age 8 and yet not defective
Hello, many always complain about the original equipment batteries (Exide) from BMW. I have installed mine now the 8th season (since 2007- in winter always expanded and 2-3 times unloaded and recharged). Yesterday it should now be the last ride of the season and…Instructions made only Klack :-(, instruments off and on again. So start auxiliary cables on my thickness 😉 and the mople started- after a ride of about 1 hour, well white on a valley road – and again just click- a The last times I had the effect that all the values of the on-board computer were gone when starting, but the starter still turned. Having arrived at home I removed the battery and noticed that the cable shoe of the Minusposl was not quite fixed- Battery pole under it also very dark- cleaned with sandpaper – tightened and- Moppel ran immediately:-), maybe next spring she will also participate. The workshop would have immediately replaced the battery with a new one! So the Exide batteries seem to be top and the charging system of the F800S as well.
