BMW F800S – Purchase advice/experience
Hello, I’m doing my driver’s license and of course I’m looking for the right motorcycle. Apparently I found a decent, good motorcycle with the BMW F800S. About 40,000 kilometers are down on the machine, the inspection is on (dental belts etc.). What’s your, honest opinion about the machine? The mileage should not cause any problems? Could you please tell me your experience with the machine? Any problems, anything special about what I’m looking for? should be visited? Heating handles, on-board computer, ABS is included. Around 5000 euros are still required for this. LG Daniel

BMW R – Re-initiator questions
Hello first of all, after I’ve been wandering around in various forums for the last weeks and unfortunately I didn’t find much I would like to get rid of my questions here. To me: I am 45 lenzen and for 10 years away from the motorcycle.Have before about a KAWA GPZ 600 R- Kaww Z 750 and ne Yamaha FZR 1000 actually only Japanese drove so everything in all about 50,000 KM with all 3 mopeds. Except for a fall and a fall of the slippery went out everything is still healing. Bin 1.80 GroΓ and bring about 95 kg on di e Libra. After the grossest paternal duties have been done in the last 6 years, I would like to deal with my passion for moped riding again. In short, the purchase of a machine is on after I drove the R 1100 R of a friend BJ 99 with 24000 KM, this motorcycle took me under its spell. The test ride with it was a real aha experience. Absolute track fidelity, a hammery chassis incl. ABS. In addition, the machine had a grip heater. ng , ne Corbin Sitzbank und die Krummer von an R 1100 S. The sitting position was so relaxed that I could have driven even 300km more. But then I drove about 200km and of course first carefully hit the first kilometers on little busy and well-developed roads in my vicinity again slowly. At the end it went quite fast and fast. So it should be a BMW R1100 R My budget is at 5000 β¬ My question therefore: What should you do with this M otorrad eighten? (weak spots / useful accessories) How many kilometers during the used purchase ? (had thought so of max. 50,000) Is the R 850 R an alternative? Bj 97/99 identical to the technology ? Useful reading ,Tests. u.s.w Bin KFZ mechanic and used to repair my motorbikes completely yourself or with friends.Workshop and high-quality tool available. Thank you in advance for your competent and professional tips.

New purchase planned R1150R. Tips asked π
Hello people short to me, I am 33, hot Mike and drive since 16 Lenzen Moped. So now after a short time off, due to necessary second car and the sale of my last moped, I have again a little free hand. The second car is gone, woman with convertible consoled… yes, I do not deny certain self-interest … and now I just like to say that without a mobile kit. Yes, everything can not be quite at all, so I looked again for Mopeds and there is the R1150R from B It resembles something of my old love, a Yamaha VMax, but has probably better qualities if I have read the tests correctly. The people who drive the part speak almost only positively of it. So I asked carefully at the dealer and there they told me immediately that the machine is no longer produced and in September the successor R1200R comes out. I have doubts about this, because I hate to buy the cat in the bag for about 14k which probably the intended price of the R1200R would be better. Also financially would fit better what is needed around the 8k… you have to save something nowadays. The fears that I have at the moment is to have a price drop on the machine later. Can someone confirm or deny that and what do you think about the moped in general? Is there anything else you should pay attention to? Tips on accessories? (From somewhere read by a good third-party manufacturer for the disc in front)

Ignition breaker K1 (K100)
Hello, my K1 has only been running on 1 to 3 cylinders for a short time. Sometimes it runs on all four. However, this is only rare. What could this be? (K1, BJ. 1991, 41 Tkm) I have already checked all contacts under the tank. The contacts of the harness are clean. I have already checked the petrol pump. Tank, pump, filter apparently so far in order. (some increase in the amount of water found in the petrol.) The contacts of the ignition coils are clean. I mean, one cylinder is completely suspended, because if it only runs on the last cylinder, then it takes the gas badly, and it works rather as a pump than a 4-cylinder engine. I haven’t checked the condition of the spark plugs yet. The spark plugs are so bomb-proof that I have to think of something to pull off the parts. Who knows this defect and what it is about ? Thank you very much for your support. Schraumix from Munich

Control chain wear and lax at my BMW S 1000 RR
Hello, I drive a BMW S 1000 RR, built in 2011, I had used it with 19 thousand km, currently it has 27,000 km on the speedometer. I had to have the steering chain replaced already at a mileage of approx. 21,000 km due to wear. This occurred to me extremely early, because I actually assumed a significantly longer durability. My questions: Is it normal that the steering chain wears away so early on in this model? What could be possible causes for this (z In addition, I have for some time a light, but clearly audible clacker, which worries me: It occurs from about 3,000 rpm and remains at higher speeds, but is then harder to perceive. The sound disappears as soon as I pull the clutch. In idle mode it is also to be heard when I turn the engine higher. But not as if I drive Important to know: The chain tensioner was changed recently, so I am not the driver. whether the sound could be related to it or whether there is another cause (e.g. clutch or gearbox). Has any of you had similar experiences or an idea of what it might be?

BMW RT 100, Built 88
Hello my father drives a BMW RT 100 and for some time the watch has been defective in the cockpit. The remaining electronics work perfectly. Does anyone know what that can be?, or how I get it to run again. Or does someone know how expensive a new watch is? Still the note, it is an analog clock. Thank you for your answers Greeting, Phidschey

R 1150 GS Adveture
R 1150 GS Adventure Hello guys! Love mammals for some time with a BMW Enduro. Since I drive a lot with my girlfriend and my old XT600 is not quite so fit anymore, I have come after some KTM considerations now to the absolute, as I mean. I have always said, when I round the world, I will take a GS. It will certainly not do anything if I buy it like that. Unfortunately I have no idea at all about BMW GS models. I think about travel There will hardly be anything better for fitness and sociability. Small enduropasages over stock and stone, sometimes a green meadow are certainly no problem. I like the 1150 adventure best, how does the PS differ and the higher weight of the Anveture model? I haven’t driven yet, how do the boxer motors feel about driving pleasure and performance?
