Hello together. Just to the background of my question: my wife and I have run 2 cars in our family. I drive 30 km daily to work with my golf. My wife works in the same place and can easily ride the route by bicycle. Purchases and other minor completions are done by the second car. We now consider abolishing a car. I would then be able to drive the motorcycle to work as often as possible. In the case of snow and ice, of course, I ride on 4 wheels. However, I would also be partly on the road. Of course, I would not like to expect my BMW r65 to do so. A r1150r would be intended for this purpose. Does the moped suffer from bad weather in winter or is it due to the corrosion like in the car? Are there good helmets, which do not fog in the cold and what is the situation with suitable clothing? With what insurance, tax I have to reckon about with the machine? The r65 costs almost nothing. It would be great if you could share your experiences and opinions with me. VG Markus

bmw screw search without article number
hello in the round there is the possibility to find certain screws somewhere, which can be found in the original accessories at bmw??? to explain: e.g. I need a screw m10x75 10.9 and m8x40 with the well-known inner torx. the original screw from bmw has only a length of (m10)60mm / (m8)25mm. if you have an article number, you get the matching screws displayed. also in the bmw part catalog you get one or the other out. however, you have to know where the part is sitting! n bmw has so many items, you don’t get an article number to tell the spare part service what you want to have. also the spare part service can’t do the search for “m10x75”. the model and the vehicle is completely dirty! > right you can also take a screw from the construction market or screw trade, > but I don’t want to!!! < it should be the originals of bmw - the same color and key drive as the one to be replaced!!! bmw has so many items grapes in all the models of motorcycles and cars, there must be a suitable screw to find!!! I hope it is understandable what I say my greetings andreas

BMW K75 ABS Intervals changeable?
Hi guys, unfortunately couldn’t achieve much with the search, so I created the topic. I have to buy a K75 before next year. I only bought a Honda last year to learn, but honestly my heart hangs at BMW. I like the K75s very much, especially since I then also have a conversion in planning. Since I also made my driver’s license with an ABS machine and my current Honda also ABS I wanted to buy a K with ABS. Unfortunately, I noticed that s the braking intervals, especially those of the front wheel, which are very long K instead of short as in the car e.g. have also found something about this via Youtube: Front wheel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3joQxJp7z4 Rear wheel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcVNlc9y7F0 Just for my actual question: Can you increase the braking interval of the ABS system? Thanks in advance for the answers Ali
