  • G650 GS 2010 (injection double ignition) does not want to start to die..

Dear everyone, I get the G650 GS, 2010, 27000 km, not kissed awake. Starter turns a wolf but the lady doesn’t say Muff and not Maff. She smelled kind of like fuel after the organ orgy; so we took out the candles and put them, besides the cylinder first dry. Spark is there. Are 2 iridium candles installed. They were wet.. Then everything went back together and with a large battery further to to get out the small battery from cause. Then she came to the This worked so 3x, after which it is now permanently dead again. So far checked: – petrol pump works. – spark (external) comes. – starter spins fast and powerful – start attempts with and without air filter What still stands: Have dismantled the idle control and eyed. When driving out in the extended condition the stamp flew away directly. In my view, in order to save a short time to die again immediately afterwards. In cooperation with the temperature sensor, he should also be responsible for the start mixture. So the new order – no warehousing – comes at some point.. Two new candles are also on the way. The “trick” with ignition on, 3x full gas, ignition seems to have no effect on the model. What else could I check? Which diagnostic devices do you use?

  • Detach battery

Have a question in the round. Do I really have to disassemble half the motorcycle for the battery on my R nineT Pure? So also solve the tank? At least this is shown on YouTube. VG Mario

  • BMW K100 – engine dies off

Wishing for a nice evening Last year there was a problem. With stronger braking the engine dies off regularly. I simply find no connection here. Looks as if this only fits in the speed range 1500 -2500. On the advice of my mechanic of the familiar I cleaned contacts on a (control?) device. After that the push-off function worked much better. Motor still dies off. Do you have an idea? lg

  • F 800 GS – more light or shadow?

I had been waiting a long time for a travel enduro, which brings naked and empty under 200 kg on the scales. It was also allowed to be a Japanese woman, but from there nothing came and so it became a BMW. The windshield a little short, the mirrors a little too stylish, the hand protectors without wind and weather protection, the seat hardy and the topcase doesn’t even hold a helmet. In addition, a motor protection bar, which is more pretty than convenient. What remains and has become: a good touring motorcycle, which only approaches its destination through the accessory trade, for all paths with a revolving and economical engine. Both the standard on-board tool and the extended on-board tool set are hardly worth mentioning. No one at BMW knows what belongs in it. If you miss something, nobody tells you if it’s right and where you get it. BMW is only designed for cared driving from the service. Spie The experienced screwdriver is disappointed and the layman is screwed up. Must that be? The F 800 GS is calculated by BMW easily and inexpensively. But under 200 kg you don’t get it and under 11,000 € it doesn’t make any sense. Advertising is just before honest quality Maybe Honda will make an offer at some point.

  • Selling or repairing BMW R 65?

Hello I need your help. My father owns a BMW R 65 in blue from 1984 with 50 hp. He doesn’t drive it anymore and I can’t do it yet. Unfortunately, the machine is also broken. The main brake cylinder and the Simmerring between the engine and transmission are defective. Since the machine was standing now 11 years it has no TÜV and the tires and the battery have to be renewed. It has run 3o.500km. My father took over it with 6,000km and since then it is definitely accident free. If you don’t mind the damage, it’s in a top condition. However, we don’t know what to do now with the motorcycle. It’s definitely too bad for the junkyard. My father is also not sure if it’s worth having the motorcycle repaired for him. The BMW R 65 is in Lower Saxony and maybe there’s a hobbyist among you who appreciates the sweetheart and is interested. Then you can give me a private message. Dear Greetings Biker__Girl

  • Brake fluid drips on the hand brake

Hello you, have just got a problem in my R850R 97 model. Attached are two pictures which represents my problem. ( have marked the problem with an arrow ) From one place on the hand brake drips brake fluidity out. So it is not so much but still I see from time to time that brake fluidity drips (only when the steering wheel is standing straight ) . If the steering wheel on the left side has not gone away. Can someone also explain to me what owns the screwdriver does in second picture? I can’t unscrew this screwdriver in a funny way. A dealer told me that the brake pump is broken and should be renewed. What does it cost? Is there something cheaper for the model? And you need at all or can you solve it like other things. I don’t think it’s been lying on the brake pump since the motorcycle hadn’t moved for 6 months. In between, it crashed to the right because of strong side wind but it hit the right boxer cylinder first. and then the hand guard part. So brake, gas, etc were not hit. Thanks in advance !

  • Would you take ABS at the F800S?

After 15 years of abstinence, I am thinking about buying a brand new F800S. Actually, I didn’t want an ABS. Reasons: – Another technical feature that can be broken – Without ABS I make the brake fluid change easy myself, but with ABS this is probably not much more difficult – 700€ additional costs Two specs recently advised me to buy ABS. Unfortunately, the reasons do not apply to me. The one has a 1200 GS, with which he also sa All right, I see that ABS brings the advantages here. The other one spoke of full braking on wet road. OK, I also see that ABS brings the advantages here. But it’s different with me. I only ride in nice weather and on tar roads. I look out of the window early on Saturday and hear the weather report. And if I am (likely) sure that the weather lasts all day, then I decide to go on a tour. OK, of course it happens to me in rare cases that I come unexpectedly into a rain. But if I drive for example 5000km a year, then maybe just 200km in the rain. And then I certainly drive absolutely slowly and carefully (actually even if it is dry). A tiny residual risk of course always remains. In addition, I have now talked with two other people (work colleagues with BMW boxers). And look, with both the ABS has never before What do you think about it. But taking into account my rides (tar roads in good weather)?
