Hello together, I’ve had a little bit of fun with my BMW E28 524d, a steering game, because of which you didn’t get a TÜF anymore. Since the TÜF, I’ve changed the middle track bar + all the other joints. I’ve set the track by hand a little straight, so after eye measure^^ because during the first test drive, the fall fit at all and the tires from 50 kmh, nice to start squeaking (starter error *gg*) According to the “So is made E28” I may have a steering game of 25mm maximum. According to my feeling, it has become a little better by changing the joints and the middle track bar, but I still find myself between 20mm and 25mm. But I would have liked, ideally, no steering game -.- I have already taken the cover under the steering wheel down and looked at whether with the steering stick, which goes to the steering gear, but there does not happen to be a game above. I have made the joints pretty hard too, so that there is not really a thing to be fixed there?

728i E38 – what can I ask for
Hello, I have inherited my father’s car. 728i, E38 year 1995, 1st hand, KD always at BMW. grey metallic, full leather equipment, automatic, climate, km stand read 211,000. Actually I wanted to pick up the car for myself and fix it later, but I can’t do it anyway. The car has traces of use (all and scratches on the wheel track at the rear li. and the same on the wheel track at the front re. Inside well preserved, the leather has no cracks. no TÜV, car is now standing for 2 years. Motor l Everything works as far as I can see. BMW 520i E28 Motor Stottert
Hello, I did not find a suitable answer in the forum!! I installed a sports air filter on my e28 520i and then it started to stutter when giving gas and sometimes took no gas at all! Have converted air filters again to original – no change!!…Steurung relays exchanged, All hoses, air mass meters works, everything cleaned, no success! E12 525 repair after longer service life
Hello, have a question: I have a well-preserved ’79s 525 E12 in cypress green-metallic with good equipment (including air conditioning, ZV, power steering, AHK etc.) for a good 14 years in a dry garage, which was also set there in autumn ’08, but before that always in the summer months was moved by me and therefore practically also has no rust. Has someone experience values with such an E12, which after such a long service life next to the brakes, which are of course all fixed by now (hand brake is not tightened and tank was full), everything had to be repaired in order to get the car back to speed and then with H approval by the TÜV? Is after such a long service life e.g. the engine already fixed and what does it look like with the carburetor, what does it look like with other suspension components etc. ?? How much working time you have to expect with such a repair in a workshop ?? And could one the car despite the r fixed brakes still pull backwards at the AHK with heavy equipment from the garage or do you break even more with it? How else can you get the car out of the garage? The car is very close to the garage wall with the right side and you can only get relatively well from behind and from the left side, partly still from the front, but from the right side absolutely not at all, so that I myself can not check whether the engine is already fixed… Many thanks in advance out for all information, tips etc…!
