Hello together. Someone was so kind to introduce his car to mine. Unfortunately, neither he nor his car was waiting for me, so the consequences of the encounter are hanging on me. And so I ask “for reasons” for your purely private and non-binding assessment based on the photos: Does this work by Smart Repair, or does fenders have to go off, tank plugs off, everything…? The dent is on the right, rear wheel run and has a rough diameter of 3-4 mm and an estimated 1 mm depth. Why I don’t just go directly to the next Smart Repair workshop with this question, as I said, has reasons, and I look forward to assessments. Thank you!

light rust under Dachreling Passat B6, conservation
Hi, I am standing in the workshop with my B6 from 2008 and wanted to provide the roof rail with new seals so that it no longer drips pure. I discovered a wet passenger footroom a few days ago. Now I see just that it is not seals, but rather foam, so that the roof rail does not touch the bodywork. I am not sure now as it used to be sealed. the 6 screws were all fixed. The underlay disc (if I call it) under the roof is a few mm movable. 02/2020 the entire roof was painted in a KFZ paint shop incl. engine hood for about 900 because I had at the front at the edges many stone strokes after 300tkm. Unfortunately, the paint shop was not so good. I have the roof railed back and down at that time. Since then only about 10tkm have come to it by long standing times. I think it has started with it again again, but the interior has been wet again. I want to drive the vehicle as long as possible and not sell at all. What could I do now “fastly” so that it will not keep it again for a bit of oil.

Is a co-painting done by default?
With me, because of a small dent in the wheel run, the side part was painted (BMW M4 silverstone, fixed price 1000€).The paintr said at collection that he would not have realized with the costs and he would have offered me that too cheap (offer was from other colleagues) Unfortunately, under certain lighting conditions a color difference to the door is recognizable. In order to compensate this, now again side part complete and door had to be painted, which I should now pay with approx. 800€ again fully. How do the professionals, should not have had to paint it from the beginning, or should I draw attention to the facts? Thank you for relevant notes Greeting Dirk

Is there anything else to save?
Hello, I’m new here and hope for some advice, I recently ordered the repair of a dent and a paint damage in a factory for body repair and car painting. The master said that he restores the original undamaged condition to 98.9%. But was it different than I thought, the following defects occurred to me: – paintwork of poorly used shade deviates from the original colour tone, stains from the? paintwork visible? – the fold on the wheel course has lost its shape, repair of the dent poor undefined? – bumper does not close flush to the side wall (sharp measure) I naturally addressed a repair when picking up, but he said that there was nothing to get out of it. Most of all, I am concerned that the falt had its form before, until naturally the area of the dent and the impacter did not sit flushly to the side wall. My final question can be brought back to a defined form? I am also thinking about asking for a reparation in writing, but I have to be grateful for all this situation, but I have to deal constructively with all this situation.

Radlauf Lack vs. Design
I fear that the underthread is not perfect, but the subject of paint fits definitely. Caddy 2k, front wheel runs repainted last year because of rust. Has only kept short since on salty winter road daily strutsplit etc. the wheel runs masakreieren. Am now just before with simply completely new fender parts to order. Of course not after a few months to get the paint protection layer again by heavy stone strike and have rusty wheel runs again… Therefore two questions: 1) Why are so many manufacturers so crazy to install blank paint there, where clearly stone strike takes place with the greatest possible force? What should the sh…. This can only be the attempt to have worry with the car as quickly as possible?! 2) If I mont new sheets, what could I grow there (artic strips etc.) to have a solid protection against stone strike? Most of the resters change the optics at the bottom of the parts to protect against stone strike. 3) I hate so stupid constructions. I don’t care about the tire area, but the new manufacturer.

Opel Isignia Co-painting necessary?
Hello, I have a demand for someone who knows how to paint. My Opel Insignia BJ 2021 has a dent at the front passenger door below (is located in a circle on photo), but is only in the door not at the Holm or something. Was now in a paint shop (small place and not so much possibilities because of comparison ) and I have been told a little more expensive, because he has to paint the back door with, as I said the dent only at the bottom of the passenger door. # Now my question, does someone know if this is so right or that is just money making, because I don’t quite understand the meaning.

Column ground in underground garage – rough estimate? Thank you!
Greetings, I’ve cut a concrete column in the underground car park today out of all stupidity, and hung tight, just went backwards… Recently the threshold and pointed was replaced by a repair plate on impact, so this should affect a thicker sheet here Can you roughly say what the -clean work- will cost? Thanks The hero of the day

Rust at the Seat Ibiza 6J (Bj 2009) Schweller and fender
Hello guys, my Seat Ibiza 6J (built in 2009) rusts at the fender and sill. Soon there’s also TÜV. What should I do? — just check it out or more? How can I solve the problem in the long term and what makes financial sense? I am grateful for every tip. Best regards Seatfahrer123

Color difference on metal and plastic
Moin people, my name is Stefan and I come from Hamburg. Since there are a lot of professionals here, I would like to ask your opinion. I have a used Panamera from 2019, where someone slightly drove me in the back. I then had the bumper painted at Porsche, but now I see a difference between the plastic bumper and the metal Kotflügel. After my first complaint it was now painted a second time. Can I ask what you say about this as neutral professionals? LG, Stefan
