  • Need tip: Navigon and TMC

Hello. I have the following problem: I bought a new navigation device today, “Navigon 4310MAX”. With the device the TMC antenna is integrated in the charging cable. I drive a Ford Focus C-Max, and the Navi is mounted on a Brodit mount on the ventilation grid. Now the problem: the charging cable is too short. I can put it in such a way that I can place the TMC receiver over the Navi (or “wind it” but it is too far away from the disk, so that I don’t get a TMC signal at all. I have seen that Brodit has a mount with an adapter + TMC root antenna. That would be perfect, but it’s too expensive for me with about 80 EUR. My hope was to get an adapter (as with Tomtom), but that doesn’t seem to exist. Now I even have thought about getting a KfZ extension cable and somehow build it up so that I can get the actual charging cable before the disk, so it doesn’t have a big problem in front of the disk.

  • AVIC X1R spins a bit

Servus, I’ve just installed an AVIC X1R in an Astra G. Unfortunately it shows some flaws. – The position is always displayed a few hundred meters offset. I’m not 100% sure, but I always think south. – The speed is displayed incorrectly, good 15% too little. My speedometer always agrees with other Navis quite well. – The Navi shows on the map the planned route in green: the road following straight ahead, at the end of the road to the left and then following the road again. However, the announcement “turn right” paired with an arrow to the right. And on the right there are not even side roads. I once deleted all the calibrations under Settings – Device Info – Sensor Status (or so similar) under Settings – Sensor Status (or so similar) . The covered path counts high there. The tacho impulses however not, or only very slow. On about 30km came only 4 impulses. Can this be so correct? Shouldn’t that shoot with several impulses per wheel rotation into the height? The tacho signal – must have been connected correctly, that I’ve accessed the pin of the iso-red.

  • 2Din Navi, DVD, Radio, 7″TFT

Hello, would like to buy me something new for my Audi. I have Navi Plus RNS-D in it, is for DVD`s my opinion too small to watch proper film. Besides, the DVD is in my glove compartment which makes the whole not very user friendly. The most important operators go over the Navi but somehow I don’t like that. Now my question!!! I found cheap devices at the google and at a large Internet auction house which according to the description are actually exactly what I am looking for. Did any of you have any experience with the devices or can anyone recommend me a device???

  • Connection aid for various signal impulses

Hi I used to have a fat Naviceiver from Pioneer and get myself the AVIC-F930BT. In another thread I have already asked questions about various brands of 2DIN radios and now it has become an expensive Pioneer Yes but now enough, I urgently need your help. On the ISO plug hang still some cables around which have to be connected otherwise the Pioneer radio does not unlock all functions. There are among other things the handbrake cable, where I have found thanks to SuFu, however, that I have to connect it either to the PlusPol or to the body mass to watch during the ride DVD (not I but my fellow drivers ) or even to be able to use the Navi functions. However, I do not know where cables for the signal from the return path, as well as the cable for the Tachopuls. If I do not connect these cables all the radio does not work properly. Please tell me how and where I connect the mentioned cables. I would not be very grateful for the installation of yours. I have not been looking for the help since Florian.

  • Pioneer AVC-F20BT / Kennwood DNX9260BT which take?

hello in the august comes the astra caravan 1,6 lpg ecoflex. have ordered it only with cd30 mp3. because the 1800 euro for the dvd90 is too expensive for me and the part can be whiny. now I swarm between the Pioneer AVC-F20BT / Kennwood DNX9260BT the one dealer swears on pioneer the other on kennwood. who can tell me his experiences. doofe question yes I know blabla seems to be here also a knowwod forum?! think both devices do not take so much. the kennwood should not have the tacho signal to werten the pioneer already, therefore this can not navigate even with no reception properly further. in the kenwood are quite cumbersome with the kennwood, with the pioneer there is a program for it, where you can also adapt the surface …. that goes with the kennwood again more comprehensively if I read so… can be the same with the device.

  • Skandinav does not supply product and is not reachable

Hello together, I have already seen some entries and may just briefly describe my situation. In April 2019 I ordered a device at @Skandinav which was not delivered until today. I never received an answer to my requests via email about the ticket system and the tickets are no longer visible to me. On Facebook I got a reply back in which was written that there is a new version of the device and that can last a little longer (which would have been fine for me). I wanted to know however when the approximate delivery date will be no longer an answer came to what. I then made a call back 3 months ago (email) to which the answer came that this is only possible when I received the device. 2 months ago I then put on a registered letter in which I mentioned the delay in delivery and a deadline. If this deadline is not met, I will be asked to get my money back. Unfortunately, this registration came back with the status: Not picked up by the recipient. My goal here is not to make the company bad I would ask for support maybe we can somehow take it together so that others does not happen the same way.

  • DAB+ a flop ?

DAB+ is a flop like HD+ or how many cars do DAB+ really have? Hello people, DAB+ is rather meaningless in my circle of acquaintances. Supposedly, more and more households have a DAB+ device. Almost half of these statistics include cars (https://www.teltarif.de/…/71494.html). Quotation: “Almost 40 percent of new cars in Germany are equipped with DAB+” On this page (https://www.dabplus.de/geraete/im-auto/) the vehicles are listed by manufacturers who might have DAB+. Whether the PDFs are correct and complete, I don’t know. In any case, DAB+ is almost never standard. Quotation: “Since since 2015 there are hardly any more car models that DAB+ have integrated into the vehicle as a series.” But always against many EUROs on top of it. The option costs almost as much as an upper class smartphone or iPhone. The state radio station Deutschlandradio now converts a few mini areas to DAB+, because I don’t keep using DAB+ as a step in the way.

  • Problem with Navi-SD

Hello and good day, I’m new to the forum and I have a problem. Since 5/12 I drive an A6 with the “small” Navi, which worked so far without errors. For about a week the Navi tries to re-initialize after about 10 min. Of course, radio, CD and telephone is “newly initialized”. Therefore I removed the SD card, so that radio, CD, telephone work without interference. A “expert” now told me that some manufacturers wanted to force an update after a certain time and therefore switch the card inoperatively! Is this fake or have you heard something like that already or do I have to buy a current SD for about 200€? I am looking forward to your answers

  • Pioneer AVIC-F900BT – Solutions for the start-up time problem

Hello Together, I recently had the AVIC-F900BT installed in my Golf+. I, too, put the exorbitant charging times into my neck. Since then, I have been thinking feverishly about how to save this scenario, as the device itself is quite usable. I am following the following approach: coupling with central locking. If (by radio key) the thing is unlocked, it should go up. When closing it down. Is in my eyes the best solution, because the device then has enough time to drive up (the remaining meters to the car, then take off the jacket and put in the back, get in, fasten the phone in the holder,…). The danger of battery discharge is m.E. also not really high. In addition, I let myself put a switch in the dashboard. Keep up with the information on how the thing went out and what the workshop required for it: / By the way: Have the update 1.002 installed. But don’t look at any point, it’s a good effect.

  • RNS 315 US Version // Passat B7

Hello, I got a RNS 315 free of charge by a friend. So I didn’t spend anything. Problem is: It’s from an American car and accordingly a US Navi. I installed it in my Passat B7 earlier and see, radio works, AUX too. Bluetooth somehow doesn’t work, you probably still have to encode that (Has a MAC address with numbers, don’t just say 0en, should go). Navi also starts, but shows nothing, because it’s just American cards. My questions: Does someone have experience with it? On the Internet there’s only a handful of information and of course it’s said, you prefer to buy the EU version. I didn’t pay for it, so I’m also ready to experiment a little bit. My problems are up to date: Language is only English, French and Spanish. Can you put it in German somehow? Did you want to get me the latest maps, i.e. the V9 SD card, does this then possibly automatically set up in German?
