Good morning dear community, since I have had a desire for a Camaro for some time and the new 6th Gen Camaro looks really good, I sat down a bit and reckoned with the information that you have. I would like to get started here NO discussion, why I want to have a 4 cylinder turbo and no v6/8. There are advantages and disadvantages for each of these steps, the 2.0 Turbo is just better there with me just because of the fuel consumption. The Camaro should be a Daily Driver for me we This is also one of the reasons for the turbo engine. The consumption is in normal driving mode at 10l, which my current vehicle (Opel Astra g Coupe Turbo) also has. The car should also be moved in winter, driving performance is about 8.000KM per year. Now my question is, what about the repair costs with such an Ami car? I always read only reports of the v8 engines, which should be quite salted. But of a 4 cylinder I read quite little. Maybe it’s the case, that it is the first Camaro with 4 cylinders but also references to other cars I find none. In general, the wear parts at Chevrolet are more expensive in nature, because US vehicle, or yet at a level that is still well payable? Examples of this are brake discs, brake pads, filters, timing belts or chains exchange and the jokes just. What would interest me, which turbo is installed or what costs a new turbo when it passes over the Jordan. Cheers, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Daewoo first at the TÜV, yesterday then all the smoke! Help please!
Hello everyone, I’m still quite new here and this is my first post here in the forum. Hope you can tell me something about it. I bought a Daewoo Matiz a month ago, which was only in June at the TÜV. This Daewoo also got some new cylinder and something was changed. I didn’t have that exactly in mind. Anyway, a lot of it was renewed. Yesterday then when I drove to Haues (60km) my bonnet suddenly started smoking & my exhaust smoke So much so that I got signs of light from other drivers. Immediately I stopped in the middle of the highway and when I opened the bonnet came some smoke. I drove so slowly it went to the next gas station (2km). Unfortunately the cashier had even less idea there than I! So we filled oil and water after. We noticed that hardly any oil was in there and water was also as good as no more in there… SUPER! As I drove on then the smoke was gone, but then I got to the battery was empty, but it wasn’t shown before. Luckily I made it to 15km before my village and was then towed there by a friend. The car didn’t go on any more, the battery was broken. And the water we had refilled was quite normal water, but after we had filled it up the water was totally dirty, brown & it was so kind of clumps in it. At home we crossed the car & it ran again, but At some point we all stood in a puddle and we realized that the water we had filled up, this dirty water, ran out of the car and everywhere in the yard “swimming around”…. By the way: when the car smoked I once looked at the temperature, but this remained constant and like always… quite normal everything! Maybe someone knows something about it? Tell me something about it…!!!!! I know myself that without or hardly oil & water driving is very stupid, but the oil we checked 2 weeks ago. This car probably, unlike my old, has a high oil consumption…. Apparently I have only bad luck with cars. Previously I had a VW Polo 6N & this was unlogical every 2 months in the repair….

Dangerous phenomenon in the Camaro of the 6th generation – Bug or Feature?
The 6th generation Chevrolet Camaro (2016/2017) is a dangerous phenomenon in the V8 European models! With acceleration in the 3rd gear, after a constant journey between 50 and 60 km/h, there is nothing or much delay. This can lead to dangerous situations, up to accidents, in situations such as overtaking, crossing crossings, accelerations when threading on motorways, etc… This phenomenon can be seen in similar or attenuated versions of old cars, in automatic versions. There is much speculation in corresponding communities about the cause of this phenomenon and whether it is a bug or a feature. In any case, the current situation is unacceptable for buyers and interested parties! The relevant dealers will receive corresponding notifications of defects from the affected buyers so that in cooperation with GM/Chevrolet Europe on I am a potentially affected person, as I have ordered Chevrolet Camaro 2017. Because of this bug and depending on how GM/Chevrolet Europe handles it or reacts, I will probably be able to respond adequately to this unbearable and dangerous condition. I am a potentially affected person, because I have ordered Chevrolet Camaro 2017. Because of this bug and depending on how GM/Chevrolet Europe deals with it or reacts, I will be able to place my order. A link to this thread will be sent to: [email protected]

Ignition oscillation at the Lacetti / Mkl
Hello car friends, I have the following problem and I can’t really make a rhyme up. My Lacetti, which I took over in Nov/2010, has been bitching for some time. A few months ago I was already in the situation that the car started to stutter at night while giving gas and lighted up the engine control light in my face somewhere in Wallachia. At that time I called the ADAC to get him to tow me, because I didn’t know exactly how to handle it. I don’t know about that. At the end of the song was a nine-hour odysse with further transport and great fatigue… The car was in the workshop a week later, with the order that it should find out something wrong with the car. Result: candles, ignition distributor, injection is supposedly not. But there was an update for the engine control that was recorded… So wurds told me, understand kan. At that time I was definitely glad that I got away at least cheaply… So much for the background… Now I’m in the situation that I have another ignition drop and started the MKL again on the weekend Had 300km before me again, but this time I drove on. At the moment the check-out is extinguished again. What I can observe during the ride and also now is that I have to give very careful gas so that the engine does not go on. More than using the accelerator pedal with the little toe is virtually not in there without stuttering, which is a little bit of a concern to me. If I step on the gas in idle, then it doesn’t stutter! Is that normal? Can you give me some advice? What could that be? You leave quite a lot to MKL with Lacetti and the bottom line are all expensive repairs, where I have to think hard about whether I still want to invest so much money in the car… the noticed that the car uses for its conditions subjectively significantly more fuel than before the last workshop stay. 10-12L instead of 9L on 100km greeting, Stefan

Experience, diagnosis, repair Chevrolet Captiva 2.2 LTZ 4WD AWD (125,000km report) injector defek
Hello everyone, I drive a 2008 Captiva and have a problem with the PDC. And that’s when I start the car funnels perfectly. After a few minutes I drive the reverse gear and there is only a permanent pipton. The lamp in the dashboard doesn’t glow!! What can that be? If a sensor is defective, it shouldn’t go from the beginning, right? Does anyone have a tip?? LG Michael [Translated from motor talk from the topic ‘Captiva PDC problem’.]

Lacetti Engine Damage – Warranty / Courage?
First of all, hello to all of you here! I am new to the forum and hope that I can find some advice here. Right to the point: I have a 4 year old Lacetti 1.8 CDX (with gas conversion by the Chevy dealer). I bought the car almost three years ago as an annual car with 15 tKM. On the highway it was now over at 58 tKM – obviously engine damage. A first diagnosis indicates engine damage due to oil shortage, but the car is still being checked out at the moment. I have the Wart My question to you now is: Do I have a chance on guarantee, and if not a guarantee, maybe a culant? Or can I forget about it again? I haven’t checked oil for a long time, but a car at this age must not normally consume so much oil that it comes to dry running and thus engine damage. I thank you for your answers. Hon times in advance.

Build Orlando to LPG
Hello, I’ve been driving an Orlando for a week and would like to have it upgraded to LPG. Previously I had a Stilo of three years and 75000km with a BRC without any problems. How about now with the Opel engine? Rather a Landi or yet a BRC again? Thanks Packe
