Hello together, with my Aveo Built. 2007 key number 8260 AAC, new tyres have repeatedly left the front side outside. This means that the running surfaces A and D are strongly affected. I noticed this downtime already at the end of October with new summer tyres and then I had the track re-adjusted and now with new winter tyres I have the same problem. I live in the country and drive very winding distances safely sporty. Can that be that of the tire pressure with 2.1 bar is simply too low at 15 inch tyres. I have now increased the tyre pressure to 2.8 bar at the front but only 2.5 bar at the rear. I will now also change the tyres from rear to front the days. For any tips I would like to thank you. Best regards

Spark Hot Tunes only with daily registration
Hello forum, have ordered me a Spark this week. Since the offer for the special Hot Tunes model is very good, I couldn’t resist. Now I get a call from my friendly one today that he accidentally signed a wrong contract, because the special models get a day registration and therefore it is no longer “new vehicles”. After a call to Chevrolet I got only the information that there could be such a thing. Did your Hot Tunes also have a day z I have never heard of such nonsense before. Strange business model. Thank you and greeting, Sven

Heating capacity Lacetti
Hello, I wanted to ask if it’s normal with Lacetti, which he doesn’t really heat? It’s cold outside at the moment, but still I find it very strange, that my Lacetti hardly gets warm. The engine temperature always stays below 90°C. Mostly about the first stroke. I drove about 70km overland this morning. Outside temperature leveled between -11 to -13°C. The thermostat was all the time at the highest level with blower stage 4. Had thick jacket u I felt like it was about 10-12°C in the interior (perhaps even colder, but definitely not warmer). I’ve had several cars and I’ve never had anything like that before. At the temperatures, you almost don’t dare drive longer distances. I have a 1.8 engine with gas system.

Epica on-board computer / standing light or parking light
Hello everybody, I’ve got an Epica 2.0 LT Diesel. EZ 3/2007. Two things seem funny to me, in which the operating instructions are not really helpful: 1. Onboard computer Is it normal that the onboard computer switches again and again to the basic setting 0 or 10l average consumption. The consumption is then calculated again according to the travel time and behavior? 2. Standlight Is there no permanent standlight or parking light with the Americans? Will the light last at the latest after the ignition key has been pulled out automatically. There is also no special switch position when pulling the ignition key? Thank you for your help.

Aveo 1.2 LS LPG: Hardened valves / head ex works?
Hello together, I have a big problem with my Aveo 1.2 LS. I bought the vehicle in February 2009 (new), now 50,000 km and a permanent consumption of 12 to 14l /100km. In addition, the valve game has changed. Everything despite permanent 120-130 km/h on always long highway routes (Vieelfahrer ). I had increased the car at the time because I was assured that the exhausting with gas (from the Chevy dealer) like from factory with hardened Valves or a completely hardened head is carried out. Since the valve play is adjusted, it can be assumed that this did not happen Now to the question: Does anyone possibly have “documents” / sources about the use of hardened engine parts for gas operation? These would be enormously important for the detection! Thank you in advance and many greetings J.

SURVEY: Spark – yes or no?
Hello Chevrolet Freaks 🙂 Now that my ancient Escort is going into recovery in the next few days, the consideration is whether and if so which car the successor should be. I don’t drive much. If I drive, then actually only inner-city. Maybe once a month another distance up to about 200 km back and forth, but more than that. What I want is a great car, a comfortable car … a reliable, stable car. I looked at Spark Plus …. What do you think about the Spark in general? What are the problems/weaknesses? How fast does the part really drive? Is the Spark what a 1.85m big person? How do you see the Spark compared to the Clio Campus or Fiat Panda? Would I be very happy if you would just write something about my questions. Would certainly help me with my decision.

Chevrolet Matiz. Child Diseases, Service
Matiz 0,8l built in 2006. With LPG gas. Before buying a Matiz 0,8 l. You have to remember that the car is cheap. The engine is a bit louder for today’s cars (when driving fast from 100 kmh) There is no replacement car. All inspections are controlled the valve play. (Is not self-regulating) If you like listening to music while driving use the 2 x 2 cm diameter standard speakers not much. Problems I had with my car / partly still have. The valves were not adjusted. every 5000 (+1000) or (3000) kilometers. I had to have the valves adjusted. After several complaints, they did not take anything for the adjustment of the valves. (as long as it was less than 10000 kilometers) Unclean running from the engine. Because the motor runs smoothly follows the next problems: braking power loss, engine goes out. Chevrolet thinks it’s because I have LPG gas. Replaced repaired. Reinforced valve seats. From 0 kilometers to gearbox Pro bleme. Has been completely new from the factory. (Chevrolet believed me only when I couldn’t drive any more. Then it was checked whether I had broken it or if there were material errors) My car takes me cheaply from A to B. Did some sort of what came to me when buying it. But there are many who don’t know it. I posted this here so that other people spend the 5000 €, they are informed that they don’t get a luxury car. good service should count.. mfg

Autoradio Chevrolet Aveo
When I was 67 years old, I bought a Chevrolet Aveo, 5-door, 1.4 l with manual air conditioning. It’s an EU import. The car corresponds exactly to my ideas, and it has everything I expect from a car as a pensioner. I don’t want to say that it’s a typical pensioner car! I like the exterior appearance. The boarding is comfortable for me (although 195 cm!) because the seating position is relatively high. For consumption I can because of the short d The air conditioning system is switched on automatically as soon as the ventilation controller is turned towards the front window. Switching off is only possible in the other control positions. In the car a serial radio is installed. I would like to have the turn-on volume controlled louder with this radio, but do not know how to do it. The operating instructions do not provide any information about this. When the radio is switched on, the It’s so quiet that it always has to be re-adjusted. Every time the ignition is switched off, there is a new problem. The visit of a Chevrolet workshop and the attempt of a fitter to solve the problem was not successful. He felt that it had to be done, but could not – no experience. The radio type is apparently still too new. Can someone help me and explain to me how to do it. I thank you in advance. Many greetings: Chevroletopa

Question about the trunk lock at the Aveo
Since I don’t have a German manual, I have to try out some unclear things. At the tailgate is a lock where you can plug in the ignition key. What the lock actually has for a function remains a mystery to me after many attempts. I can neither open the tailgate from the outside with it nor close the trunk permanently independently of the inner unlocking. I guess that here is a defective and the lock is therefore without function. Although I have the kalos reference manual, there is nothing from the castle as it should work. Can someone help me because he might have had the same problem?
