  • C3 Aircross successor, 2024

In India, what is growing, in the truest sense, because the successor will become much bigger… Quotation: ..The C3 Aircross, which we find at our dealers, has a length of 4.16 meters. Well, the new model will be about 4.40 meters long… To several continents/countries, however, also requires adjustments to requirements, quote: ..The South American version of the new C3 Aircross will be practically identical to the model that is marketed in India. Under its hood there will be a 1.2-litre pure tech gasoline and at least a 100-percent electric variant with a 50-kWh lithium-ion battery… There will, of course, still be some time and it will be for others in the group.. Quotation: ..The successor of the C3 Aircross is planned for the fall of 2024. Taking into account the sighting that has just taken place, it is not impossible that further prototypes will be seen in the coming weeks. The European version is expected to be produced in Trnava (Slovakia). FIAT and Opel will also have their special alternatives to this new model…

  • Structure of the crankcase ventilation system or hose / source of fault?

Hello! I asked myself whether the crankcase ventilation system always consists of normal hose connections for petrol engines. Or is there also the case where valves can be installed there, for example, on the connectors? What sources of fault are there in addition to leaks in such a system? Specifically, I asked myself this with a Citroen C3 from 2003 with 1.4 l machine, since there is the following problem: In the crankcase ventilation hose to the air filter is located si a lot of yellowish smear, which has reduced the hose diameter. Towards air filter, in the air filter itself and direction throttle valve there is also an oily, yellowish substance. It is probably an emulsion of oil and condensation water. Then I wondered if the hose system could be defective. I once took off all 3 connection clips and blown in each connection (yes, is not a delicious matter). Interestingly, for one piece only air in one direction, but hardly in the other. The reason can actually only be a built-in valve?! Could it be that due to a defective valve in the crankcase ventilation system the blow-by-gases are not removed correctly and all, including oil nebulae, in which a hose lands, where they mix with condensate due to the low outside temperatures? Finally a piece of hose was replaced. Could it be that this, because it is a little different nods, which caused problems? Or do you rather tap on e.g. piston rings or valve shaft seals? To the info: – no smear on the oil cover – no visible oil dilution – no oil in the cooling water – No rising bubbles in the cooling water with open balance tank and running engine in idle mode (we had to check it at increased speed) – No noticeable smoke from the exhaust I’m curious about your answers.

  • C3 Elle Online Edition 2023 – GJR

Hello, I have completed a cheap leasing offer (24 months, 20,000 km in total) for a C3. Now I want to take care of the tyres. I actually wanted to take a Continental GJR, because I don’t want to change there. I see there now three options and wanted to hear your opinion. 1. Summer tire down, sell (what do you get for it? The tire size is quite exotic with 205/50/17), GJR on it. Cost about 550€ minus sale of the SR. 2nd summer wheels are completely removed and GJR (standard 205/55/16) mounted on 16″ steel wheels. Costed without RDKS 570€ for the set. I have to change the wheels and take care of screws/nuts. With RDKS (the shop could not offer rdks in the configurator. Which Citroen uses here exactly?) probably about 700€. At the end of the lease then the original wheels on it and the GJR completely sell. Comes a little more expensive, but for that definitely nothing happens to the wheels, I’m not the park expert now How do you see it with rdks? Without it is a considerable lack, of course. However, as I understand it, is it still quite common? Does the insurance company not have any problems in the event of an accident?

  • Consumption of the C2 110 HDi FAP

Hello C2 driver! Are there other C2 drivers driving a 110 HDi? I am interested in what consumptions you can achieve. I have been driving about 8500 km with my C2 since the beginning of April (new car). The factory consumption information for the country road can only be achieved if I crawl into the A……… for a truck at 80-90 km/h. Despite reserved gas feet, it is hardly possible for me to achieve the mix consumption. My average over the distance to date is just over 5 liters N. Unfortunately, I did not get a satisfactory statement from my (really) friendly Citroen dealer. What experiences have you had?

  • C3 HDI 1.4 Density injectors

Hello! I bought a used C3 1.4 HDI BJ 2002 2 months ago. The seller said there is what about the 2nd cylinder (coking ?) therefore the car stinks in the interior, you think you have to scratch off right away I am here in Lübeck to a Citroen dealer and asked for a copper ring and got it. My colleague then installed the sealing ring and the smell was gone and subjectively the car pulls a bit better. Well, after a good 500KM I was on the Autobah n and thought, boy.. You only drive always in the city, give some rubber, that is always good. I then realized, the C3 has only VMAX 150KM/h… actually a little bit for a diesel with about 80 hp…. Hardly off the highway (about 30KM full gas), at the next traffic light … there it was again… this bad smell in the interior. Ask you experts: Can this be leaked again when it was first changed (and was dense) ? Or is now another seal of another cylinder s am Ar… You don’t hear anything good about this engine …. 2. Question: Does someone have an excerpt from a manual where the change of seal ring is illustrated ? I would also pay (logically). Or quickly sell cars again ? LG from Lübeck… Andreas

  • 80 km/h and according to MKL and exhaust system defective nothing more

to the vehicle: C2 Bj 2008 Facelift 89400km 1.4 HDI to the error: at approx. 80 km/h on the highway the MKL went on and it appeared defective in the display exhaust system. ADAC introduced me and AGR valve in suspected. AGR valve cleaned everything together again and it starts turning but so fast again ignition turned out. Since then it no longer works. New AGR valve ordered and installed but it no longer starts. Error according to Lexia: fuel pressure sensor pos id Electric control valve Exhaust gas recirculation Lufmassmesser Coherence Intake air distributor may be some errors because I tried to start it in semi-built condition. Wanted to hear if someone knows what before I scrap it Since last year, he has only lost the fun of the once dearly gained C2.

  • Workshop has installed false suspension spring

Hello, I had a spring break with my C3 Bj 2008. I still have a guarantee (yes, there is rarely a five-year-old car) at the workshop and they repaired the last week. Unfortunately I only found out that a) always had to change both springs and the workshop did not point out where we would have paid for the second installation of the spring. But the question was not in the room, and b) that I asked Citroen if this would have gone on kulanz and I have to bite into the sour apple and have the second spring installed and pay for it myself. That’s still limited. The real problem is now that I wanted to find out which spring the workshop has installed, so that the other workshop will install the same one now. I notice that one Spidan No. 55071 has been installed, which I don’t get displayed anywhere for the C3 and which for Renault Megane etc. Can I leave it that way and install the same spring on the other side, or what should I do in your opinion?? Is it rather unlikely that the other company would install the suspension spring that is not designed for the car, because of warranty ect. At this workshop where I bought the car, I absolutely don’t want to go, because their work seems to me really unsavory. What do you think?? lg Hansmiglück45

  • C3 2002: Part number / Designation / Function searched

After a look into the engine compartment, a first error was quickly found: the hose (marked in the photo, example photo) has been patched up many times and is now broken again in one place. Guess we should just replace it. Now I’m not from the compartment and I would like to know about its function and maybe someone can tell me the part number or just how the thing is called so that I can can order without first having to drive to the friendly. Thanks and best regards

  • C3 Picasso Kaufberatung ZR Interval, Vulnerabilities???

Hello here in the forum! I’m looking at a used C3 Picasso. For example, this one here: C3 Picasso Should a petrol engine be used mainly for regio and city traffic. (approx. 5000km/year) I would need your support in decision-making. Here are my questions: 1. Timing belt change interval ? What does this cost for this model? 2. Are there any known vulnerabilities you should have in mind? 3. Are there differences in the gasoline engines with 95hp? (The question) e because different consumption values are displayed in the offers 6,3l to 6,9l ???) 4. Are you all happy with the car? I have read for example that the steering gear has been changed and that with a vehicle Bj2010 it had only 70tkm and are mostly AB km? Picasso C3 with 6,3l consumption? Would thank you for your helpful tips. Be able to see the one at the Mittw. already. Thank you already in advance!

  • Is the original timing belt set from PSA

The timing belt set( 1684448280) is changing and I thought , purchase original PSA set with water pump , want to drive the car even longer . Price was the slightly more expensive than contiset . Unfortunately I am somewhat unsure , which was delivered a set of Mopar ,GENUINE PARTS & ACCESSORIES . Not made in France , but made in Singapore . Number is identical . Hmm , is that so since the takeover ? Has anyone already gained experience ?
