Moin Moin!!! This morning on the way to work I had an extremely modest experience with my C4!! I crusted very comfortably at 110 kmh in the cruise control operated over the highway. I ned myself to a truck and gave while I was on the left lane changed some gas up to about 130kmh to get a little faster at that. After the overtaking process I changed to the right track and took my foot off the gas again, but my C4 just accelerated quickly!!!!!! Scary!!!! uf Pause set, it still accelerates, cruise control switched off, it still accelerates!!!!! Sweating!!! There are middle days 195 kmh on the speedometer!!!!!!! Brake kicked, but it speeds up again cheerfully!!!! Message in the display : Speed control defecates SERVICE!!! Then with kicked brake and still about 140kmh fast to an empty parking lot, full braking and the gear taken out! The engine then turned down into the limiter and then quickly the ignition off!!! I had to know today that it is not a nurse’s tale that fails a cruise control and you almost lose control of your car!!!!! I don’t like this experience at all!!!! I hope that it was an isolated case at Citroen!!! I’m not going to give this experience to anyone!!!! I hope it was an isolated case at Citroen!!!

c4 picasso – German engine press
I’m not myself from d but ö and annoy me increasingly about the German auto magazines. car picture, first driving report about the c4 picasso…. 1. design from s-max/galaxy coppered. apart from the fact that vans are all similar. it’s a) wrong. and b) no one can be so stupid that one believes that a car is to be copied within a few months. when the s-max appeared (or when the first pictures appeared), the last pre-production vehicles were in production. n. 2, the whole tenedence in the report is negative, the actual coverage of the vehicle almost not recognizable. except that it is quiet, I get out almost no facts. 3. I drive c4 myself and am about the weaknesses in the picture. what I read in the magazines (comparison tests) is however not understandable. drove vw (bora variant) before and never read about the vehicle that it has a catastrophic road situation (back axle) at a higher speed that it extre m is loud. that the car still pulls to the left in the sixth passage, etc. in the case of non-German vehicles, they write in case of need some shmus (coppered off….) if you don’t think of anything negative. at any rate, have decided not to read all this shit.

Eco-Mode/Motor Deactivate Start-Stop-Automatics possible?
Hello, does someone know if and how to permanently disable the Eco function or possibly program it away? So I get annoyed by the constant engine output. I leave out the dubious benefits for the environment and want to discuss it also net. I would just be glad if the function would not be forced from the beginning on every ride and every restart. Greetings tigi24

Behaviour of EAT8 in ranking
Hello together, I have now switched to the new C4, as PureTech 130 with the EAT8 transmission. Now I have the following problem, if I want to let the car crawl with a gently pressed brake, sometimes I manage to, but usually that is then a bump. If you have to imagine, I drive into a very narrow parking space (there I drive slowly in ) then I try to keep the car crawling, then it suddenly stops even though I do not change the brake pressure, jet I have to get off the brake completely so that it starts up again and that is usually too fast. Start/stop is off. In short, does any of you with the EAT8 also have problems when crawling into narrow parking spaces?

Interest in a Grand Picasso, but questions
Dear motor-talk-community, since it is becoming really too small with our children in the Opel Astra G, we think about changing to a family van. I am absolute layman, but I am interested in the Grand Picasso, because I place more value on a large interior and the comfort, but do not need a sporty car. Since we drive longer distances more often, diesel would be important to me and my wife insists on automatic. Now I have found two offers based on these wishes, which I for Both are the first version of the Grand Picasso (2009/2013), have run 80,000 km and cost between 6,000 and 9,000 €. That would be about our maximum budget. Would it make sense to look for a newer car with more kilometers, or is the version more recommendable before 2014. What exactly is the difference between the normal and the exclusive version? Apart from a panoramic window and a DVD player, I didn’t notice anything? f do I link the two offers that interest me? Thank you for all the potential answers! Best regards Tim

Change battery C4 Picasso
Hello together, after 3.5 years my battery is probably at the end. Within 6 weeks already the second time – dead pants. Only the relays clack. Clock sets to zero and nothing goes more. Was already 6 weeks ago, there was given by the ADAC start aid and it jumped immediately again. In the Citroen workshop no error was found, battery stops the voltage ….. Now I will install a new battery. How do I get out the old ones. Are there tricks? I st yes quite installed. With best greetings bumpa

Continuous current in C4 – the solution!
A damn good solution for a problem that we all have: continuous current in the C4.. Open cover over the fuses driver’s side left: You can see a wire harness coming to the right of the BSI module. There is a 5-6mm thick bright red cable in there – this cable does not end in the BSI but is attached to other cables with fabric tape above it. At the end of the cable sits a grey cable shoe. This red cable comes out in the engine compartment under the fuse box and even lies at +12 V; all of it andings feht under the safety box the fuse to supply this cable with voltage: disconnect battery! Unlock all plugs from the safety module, detach 12 V cable from the safety module, detach brackets at the bottom left and top to lift the safety module up. Below there are some fuses. On the 3rd contact the thick red cable arrives from the interior and is even located at the safety plug. Only a suitable fuse from the friendly supply and permanent current is located inside the C4

New to Citroen and purchase decision C4, which HDi ??
I’ve driven an Audi A6 S-Line 2.0TDi for 4 years now and I’d like to make a reduction now. My attention has fallen on the Citroen C4. Beautiful look, depending on the model super interior and at 2-3 years old an ingenious price-performance ratio. My concerns are now the following: Since I have had very bad experiences with my 2.0TDi, regarding longevity and childhood diseases (cylinder head crack at approx. 90,000, exhaust gas return valve etc…) and i ch is completely new at Citroen (until now only AUDI) now the question: What do I have to pay special attention to with a C4 saloon 1.6HDi/2.0HDi. Is the 1.6HDi sufficient with its 109hp or should it be the 2.0HDi? How does it look with car tax differences, consumption, running culture and response behavior? Are there “children’s diseases” I should pay special attention to with the C4? How is the Citroen-Navi? So what, let’s explain the world of Citroen 🙂 Thank you already !!

C4 Alupedale – expensive??
Hello, dear Citroen- Freaks! I was with my friendly friend today to get some information about the aluminium pedals for footrest and accelerator pedal. I have now gone home with the left footrest because there is no release of Citroen for the accelerator pedal. Since I know that some of you have already retrofitted both pedals: What did you pay for it? I have now paid only for the footrest (part number 942590) 41,71€ incl.. On the way home I then asked myself, o b that is a justified, or better, normal price. Haven’t ripped the packaging open yet so that I can possibly return the stuff. What do you say to that, in my opinion, very high price? Greeting, VTS
