  • Various errors after new TÜV and alleged inspection

    I bought a used c4 picasso bj 2007 with 122000km running power. With one year warranty on engine and transmission. Before the sale was made new TÜV and allegedly according to purchase contract one around inspection. On the first day I drove 460km and had suddenly without warning in the middle of the highway several error messages. 1. Exhaust gas detox system defective 2. System ESP/ASR defective 3.Exhaust gas system defective 4. Engine control light yellow bright And the worst as I find e the engine doesn’t run round, but stops and sounds like it’s giving up the spirit itself. Would a video upload but don’t know how this works here. It would be nice if someone could give me a tip what it might be. I know I have a warranty on engine and gear, I’m surprised it can just kick something like that after just under 500 miles driven? Or was it botched at the tuv or the inspection?

  • Questions about the Ecall/SOS and the Start/Stop system

  • Naviupdat not possible?

    The Navi update is probably not possible. I have used a new USB stick with 32 GB and Fat 32, and all files are copied on it after unpacking, as in the manual. But the disk is “checked” for hours, nothing is installed and the activation key is not queried either. The pictures in the manual do not agree either, to “map management” via the Navi function you do not come either. So the Navi is actually useless in traffic, because old t, and the way to make updates is also “medieval”. My Citroen workshop refuses to approach the update and says it doesn’t work and they don’t do it. Strange that my Renault workshop says the same for updating my Dacias.   • C4 BJ 2004 Exhaust system defective – additive injection?

    Hello, we have a C4 diesel from 2004. So already a considerable age, but still runs well.. actually. two years ago he had already spit out error messages in the mountains, stopped and let us to the workshop, where you could not read any error messages any more. So we drove further, everything went without further messages. About a month ago the engine went off at traffic lights simply, after a visit to the factory This was the case again, instead of finding nothing in which one could not find anything. Now he complains with “gas system defective” at every start, were already two weeks ago in the workshop. They read out the error memory with the result that the filter should be filled up once and the additive injection does not work. You had looked at the filter, yes, it is already a little bit added, but should still work loosely. And the message with the additive injection is from a a defective sensor has been triggered in the tank lid, so he didn’t know how much additive has to be added to it. Um… what additive? We have 180000km now on the box and didn’t have to refill an additive or have no tank lid somewhere for it… A guess now is that a workshop had made a firmware update at some point and played a wrong one that assumes we have an additive injection? And now we are x kilomet or is the idea of complete bullshit? Are no professionals in this matter and the workshop apparently not. Have another appointment on Tuesday, but wanted to hear from you about whether there were similar experiences.

  • Mycitroen app travel book

    Hello. I would like to use the mycitroen app as a travel book for my company car. Some time ago it was still the case that all the rides made by colleagues in the intervening period were synchronized to my app as soon as I was driving again.
