Hello together, I play with the thought to buy a C5 Tourer, 2.0 Hdi, 163 HP, year 2015, 91.000 Km. What does it look like with Citroën with problems regarding exhaust system, , related to AGR, PDF, suction tube flap , etc.? Am on the topic a burned child of VW, keyword Dieselgate and update. Therefore the VW must also be gone. Are there good tips? Many thanks in advance to all the write. Greeting Markus

Your opinion on the offer
Good day together, I’m new here in the C5 corner. I’m Simon and I’m from Switzerland. I’m happy to ask for “fatherly advice”. After some Citroën AX(GT),BX (GTI),XM,C5 (both V6 ,PRV and 24v) and now C4 (eHDI 2011er), I need more space again because of my two little boys. I’m now making about 10 Tkm a year due to new job. So far 30Tkm , therefore the C4 which is really great. Although I convince Citroën, I tend to a XC70. Find the cart cool, even though I don’t need a drawhorse or really AWD. Also something new….although expensive and the engines just a bit “rustic” Now I’ve seen that. C5 Tourer with light leather and glass roof. 3.0 HDI. I find the exciting. What do you think? https://m.autoscout24.ch/…/citroen-c5-kombi-2009-occasion?… Thank you for feedback Dear Best wishes Simon

C5 after Kuppliúngs exchange strikes the donor cylinder/pedal falls through
When this was finished, I saw the clutch pedal fall through at the entrance (back) I pulled it up again with the tip of the foot, it stayed there. Then I drove home from the workshop; everything OK! The next day, when I wanted to drive away, I pressed the clutch and put the gear in, when I let go of the clutch, the car jerked on and blocked the engine. The pedal remained also below. After phone call with workshop and tip something to pump on the pedal, would probably be Lu ft in the line, I did this , can switch again , immediately to the workshop udndort was found that there was no air in the system . I explained once again the process and the master came to the conclusion , then the clutch sensor and/or clutch encoder must be no longer in order . An exchange must be here . Now cost approx. 320 ,-Euro 3 hours work . Because I have adjusted to this clutch history , I can drive with my car , it goes . However , “Kuplungs Kom plett renewal” not also clutch encoder and taker ? Would the WerKstatt not have had to recognize this defect too ?? Who has made similar experience ?

C5 gasoline 136 hp, 140 hp or 207 hp ??
Subject Used cars, year 2001-2004 The C5 Break seems quite interesting to me for my purposes as used cars, so I just ask to the forum for comments on the typical gasoline engines. I don’t drive a Citroen yet and return about 15000 km per year, partly also in the city traffic of Bembeltown. The 2-litre engine with 136 hp seems most solid to me. Probably millions of times in various Peugeots and Citroens in use and absolutely mature. n with 140 hp brings with it a little more technology, so I expect a higher repair effort with a little less consumption. The 3-litre engine with 207 hp is certainly a lot of fun during cross-country trips, but for city trips I should then probably switch to bicycle and public transport. What do you say about it? Or are you diesel fans anyway?

C5 with failure of steering/ steering support…experiences ? Which company can test BSI unit
Hi, citroen-fans, admittedly I am not one myself, but a good friend asked me to accept his C5 times. He already invested (thanks to the nice citroenpartner) over 2000 ökken in the cars and his servo still does not work properly. It is a C5 combi of the 2nd generation. EZ was 2012 Diesel 1.6 l HDi / 82 kW Share was renewed by citroen the servo unit (1000 eu) and a lot more already. On his (all) last visit to citroen was BSI read out/tested/programmed (?) (what exactly can he not say, because laie), which was calculated again with a good 400 ökken and then the steering for 10 km funzte. On the way home when driving up into the autobahn she again failed the service. Now he first has the faxen thick, has logged off the car and has changed to benz. However, he loves his C5 and would be happy if I would get it back. Now I am currently for hours over by means of schematics I’m currently checking the BSI (see photos) and looking desperately for an address where you could send the part to check and fix it if necessary. My other companies don’t dare to do it. No wonder me…^^ That’s why my questions. has had similar probs here with his C5? And how were they finally fixed ? TIPS …. always happy to and from with it !!! Thanks and vg günni

How do you see if a C 5 has hydropneumatics?
I just read with horror that the hydropneumatics was at the C 5 extra charge. I thought it would have always been standard ! I am interested in one about BJ `01 – `03. How can you tell if he has the hydropneumatics ?

LPG in 3.0?
Hello everybody, and another question about the new C5. Does any of you have any experience in how the 3.0 liter engine behaves after a conversion to LPG use? Is that possible at all and if so, what does it cost about? I assume from around 2,500 to 3,000 € if someone should do it. Am I wrong with it? Apart from that, I only live a few minutes away from Citroën Postert in Oberhausen. A first conversation left an excellent impression on me! Have you experienced it? with this ? Greetings Dietmar

Questions about the C5
Hello, I’m looking for a Passat replacement, and I like the C5 quite well. I have a C5 10/2010 HDI 165 Exclusive, with 90,000km. The car is sold by Citroen, with 2 years “complete guarantee”. The price is 15,000€, but here must be traded. Now my questions: is there a standard “Skiklappe” in the C5 to take skis with you? Is the “Exclusive” version automatically equipped with Hydrative III+? What should I do when I buy without having to take skis? In general, all the long-term tests that can be read online are quite positive. However, these tests only run up to 100,000km. Are there any serious problems starting from 100,000, or is the car still reliable? Thank you very much for your answers and many greetings! -k

Purchase advice:
Hello together, after my Saab 9-5 Aero SportCombi has unfortunately suffered engine damage and my oldie leaves me Monday, my fleet has already shrunk sharply. That’s why I’m looking for a replacement for my station wagon now, so my first choice has fallen on the C5 Tourer. Especially the good seats and the HP have done it to me, moreover the 3.0 HDI (241hp) plays in the same league as my Aero (250hp). The following C5 is about: 3.0HDI 11/2009 165tkm Navi and X enon From the dealer for 6999€ What do you have to pay attention to when buying? I have already read that there are problems with the spring legs. Is there any other problems that can be expensive (Navi/Elektrik/ tailgate)? Is the 3.0 HDI full-gas-proof? I like to travel quickly! I drive 3 times a week to work 10km and 2 times 45km each. Is there a problem with the DPF? VG eLe
