Urea engine error Berlingo Diesel Euro 6 first registration production date end of 2016 and day registration January 2017, acquired February 2018, 5 km. dear people, I bought a Berlingo 99 hp diesel Euro 6 with mileage 5 km in February 2018. On the first drive the engine block symbol and the hint, Urea error appeared after 100 km. But the Urea stand was full. The workshop then probably only replayed the software, the error was then gone for 12000 km, i.e. after pretty much exactly thirteen months the error occurs again, at the same time the display I could drive 1000 km. The day after I had to drive a longer distance again, and it was a bit strange. At the first 50 km the engine was jerking/vibrated easily and quickly, so at about 2000 revolutions per minute, in the 4th, 5th, and 6th gear. Another 50 km later the engine was then warm, this jerking was not to be provoked. Error memory: no message. Any tips, how I deal with the workshop; the cause of the error from last year has probably not been fixed? Ciao Schwipp Oh, one more thing maybe is because of the error: I read that the Urea tank(?) has to have a certain pressure. In January before the maintenance I refueled about 3 liters of Urea, but I can not get partout closed again firmly, it claps loosely on the filling socket, no idea how the tight locking works!

Close-circuit clock
At my friend’s Berlingo Advance (b9) the locking cylinder in the driver’s door and the car can’t be opened again and again with the key (no radio remote control, only central locking). Since the locking cylinder of the rear door is completely oxidized and can only be turned in the direction of the passenger door, this is not nice. Yesterday we removed the cylinder. This is easy: a Torx 20 screw in the door (behind the round adhesive pad) bi I had imagined that it would be easy to pull out a possibly locking attachment (if necessary all – nobody knows). Unfortunately, the whole thing is a closed housing in which an opening is probably not intended. One would have to drill out four pins and could then probably open the housing – just how to close it again? A bath in petrol and multifunctional oil did bring a certain improvement, a Can anyone give advice?

Too short 5.Gang translated
Have the following problem with my Berlingo BJ.2009,1,6 HDI with 80kw. My Berlingo is super-saving in the city and overland operation.Consums an average of 5.3l/100km.As soon as I drive the motorway the consumption goes up to over seven liters, although I do not drive faster than 130. At 130kmh I have 2950U/min on it.One notice clearly that the engine still has a lot of power and a sixth gear would be more than desirable. For Citroen you can find very few information about the technology. effend. Therefore my question: does someone know which six-speed gearbox, of course with a longer translation, fits my Berlingo? Or has someone ever swapped the gear pair for the 5th gear for a longer translated one? Original are a 50 teeth and 33 gear pair installed.Would I be very interested in how much U/min at 130kmh and a gear pair of 54 x 31 teeth would be concerned. Can you calculate that somehow? The work effort should only be about one hour, because the drive e does not have to be removed, but only the sheet cover has to be removed at the side.

C8 2.0 HDI – only problems
At the beginning of 2006 I took over my C8 which was 18 months old from a colleague. He told me that he had engine problems at the end of December but it was now repaired. After that the Sch.. started. After I was 3 times in the workshop, and mann told me that everything was OK, the car went to the workshop at the importer in Belgium the 4th time. They admitted that the engine power was not OK (20 hp were gone, torque was 220Nm instead of 270 Nm). And a consumption of 12l/100km could point out that not everything was OK…. 6 weeks they kept the car. The explanation was that a penetrating nozzle was broken… After that there was a little more torque, but with a power test I could prove that the torque is only at 2400 at the maximum where it should normally be available at 1750 u/min. Because I had no desire to leave the car in the workshop for a long time I drove the car further. But now catches consumption is constantly rising (usually I had 8.5), and now I’m back at 9.7. I didn’t manage to speed up the car from 0-100 below 17 s. The booklet says 13s. What can be wrong with this Monday car? Did someone experience the same engine problems here?? Also this replaces a bulb runs already wrong with me. After the workshop replaced a bulb, the right lamp seems almost 45° down…. And if the 2 weeks later by the same master is done again and the left lamp, I can’t understand it anymore… Other problems have not been spared to me either… Starter burned (still lying on 100 km from home, 1 week workshop), main fuse broken (morning at home remained, 3 times in the workshop, parts not available afterwards delivered false parts, and then finally repaired), gas cable broken (underway, self-preliminary repaired, 2 days workshop) In 2006 is mei n car has been more like 2 months in de Werstatt… I’ve never experienced that in 20 years. Meanwhile a successor has been ordered (Ford Galaxy with 1.8 TDCI and 125 hp, which is not available in D, but is really very good) With me is definitely sure that I never want to have a Citroen anymore. A Monday car, so far OK, but constantly these discussions with workshop is really too much for me.

Berlingo Needed BuyTips Wanted….
HAllo ICh is looking for an affordable “family carriage” in the medium term, as my Audi 100 (with which I am otherwise very satisfied) becomes too impractical in terms of space. Among other things, I find the Citroen Berlingo interesting. Used is it quite cheap. Who can post me experiences? Which engine? There are 60,75 or 90 hp as petrol. Driving performance? Towing load? Vulnerabilities? ICh will thus come to about 14 000 km of annual driving performance, I think that with a beziner is better served, or yet diesel? repairability? alternatives? I would have pulled the Fiat Doblo into the selection. Sorry, if the topic was already there x time, but the MT search is not the true one……. THANK YOU!!

Purchase advice for a C8
Hello together, I plan to buy a larger van because our Zafira is slowly becoming too small. At a dealer near us I found a C8. This car has become a favourite because of the good space offered and the many practical details with us. It is a diesel with 128 hp equipment SX at the price of 19990 Euro first hand (show car ) and year 10/02, mileage 13000km. Unfortunately I know myself with Citroen vehicles at all not My questions: How are the maintenance intervals set? How high is the consumption? How high are the inspection costs? Does the vehicle have problems with the electronics? According to a car picture report, the underbody falls off at high speeds and the sliding door mechanism refuses its service – is that right? Thank you for all the tips!

Berlingo 1.8i MF, Tempanzeige close to the center, normal?
After having successfully put the ZKD revision behind me, I noticed that in combination the temperature indicator does not even stand exactly on the middle after long driving. Admit that I had not taken care of it before the revision and therefore do not know how it stood before it. I have doubts if this can be so right, if the display does not even get right in the middle, let alone, clearly about how I know it from other vehicles. mostat was replaced about 3 months ago, because the old one was completely wrong at that time. Since this was so short in, I did not change it now. Could it be that thermostat opens much too early and thus the engine can not get warm enough or is only the display a treasure that only irritates me for no reason and it has its correctness? By the way, the tank display at least seems to be a treasure ice in my Berli, at first hardly any movement and below the In the middle, the steep mountain descends. So you can’t talk about a linear indicator and certainly not assume that the km indication from the middle would reach exactly as many km as from the top to the middle. I have 2 pictures of the indicator inserted.

Ew12j4 -3fz. Help
Hello municipality. Question. Crankshaft ot- Einlassnoke ot- Auslassnocke ot. Timing belts tightened according to specification and still block the motor. The cylinder button has been overhauled and planned. Valves have been regrinded and the whole head has been cleaned. Who knows what that can be. I have gone through about 50 times all the settings, all the ot points have been locked with thorn. Yes, the 1 and 4 cylinders are not at the top of the top of the barrel bushings at ot painting, which are about 1.5 cm below the top of the barrel bushings. I ch think that’s then xy grad before ot. Eye-shining the problem lies at the outlet side since inlet side at not quite 180 degrees rehung the pistons 2-3 stand up and the inlet valves are closed. Who can provide ideas where that can lie. Thanks to all the snow in advance.

Brake lights at Berlingo no longer light up
Hello! My wife was last approached because of her brake lights on her Berlingo1,4 (Bj2002).If you satisfied the brake, it does not light up.Since both lights do not go, I had thought of the fuse.In the fuse box, however, no fuse was burned. From the manual I could not find the fuse belonging to the brake lights either. But I also looked for the lamps. My wife had made her TÜV at the Citroen contractor at the beginning of the year and there the brake lights would also be criticized (I’m not quite sure now, because on the Rep. note only lamp was replaced). When I checked the lamps, I had to find out the one lamp even missing. I then installed two new lamps, but without any success Since I don’t trust the dealer quite over the way, I try it here times.Maybe someone has a good tip. MFG ADI

Replacement key for Berlingo year 2000 – € 268?
Moin mitnanner, my mother has lost her (last) car keys. So she asked the dealer what a spare key costs. She was told: € 268. I don’t know about Citroen, so my question to you here in the forum: Is this really so expensive? Or is this a super noble key variant? Are there possibly expensive and inexpensive replacement keys versions? My mother doesn’t need a key to open the car by radio. She would be with a “handheld service” gsschlüssel” completely satisfied. Thank you for your information in advance – Volker
