so that you can install new brake pads, the cylinder can be turned, but it does not push a millimeter in. Is there a certain trick?? Hello guys, does any of you have experience with chip tuning at Xantia 2.0 Hdi? Prices, (un)possibilities, it makes sense etc. I don’t need as much final speed as torque – does the tuning bring anything about it? Furthermore, my Citrone has the tick to flash the airbag warning light from time to time. In the workshop no error can be found. Does anyone know this problem? Thanks el feo

Have just a Xantia 1.8 (100 hp) at hand. EZ 94, very well maintained condition, only 52,000 km, of course from the dealer with warranty. Now my question: are 2900 too much required for it? How about the spring balls at such a year of construction? Could they still do it a while or do they have to be changed? If yes, are they slippery or do they fall under the used car warranty??? What should be taken care of with this car???? Is it even recommended ??? Tüv + Au was made new 04/2006. Interior equipment in top condition. I don’t want to get that, but an acquaintance of a spacious and economical car. Thanks already

Citroen Xantia vs. Audi A3 Hello! I have to tell you, yesterday I drove our company car again, an Audi A3 (2 or 3 years old). I really wonder why this car sold so well. It has very uncomfortable and hard seats, springs bad, has a bad road position (at least compared to the Xantia) and has a very noisy diesel engine. Admittedly, my Xantia is already a number bigger, but for that at least 7 to 8 older and makes really all s better (except for consumption of course). How do you see that? Do you think I’m exaggerating? Greetings J-P

Hello, I have a problem with my used car dealer. I recently bought a Xantia Activa in a Renault car dealership (Ez 3/98, 77TKM). 2 weeks after the purchase it was found in a Citroen contract workshop that the front AFS cylinder is leaking. Since the error occurred so soon after the purchase I assume that this is a warranty case and have asked the dealer to take over the repair costs of 460 €. The dealer sees the case but as a guarantee case and according to the warranty conditions only 50% of the costs will take over. He justified his opinion by the fact that I have confirmed under witnesses that the car at the time of purchase I.O. practically bought as seen. I already called the lawyer and she meant the statement from the dealer is nonsense and I am right. Unfortunately I have no legal protection insurance and since the dispute value “only” 230€ the lawyer thinks that a lawsuit would not pay. Is anyone like me still right or what else can I do?

Hello, I drive a Xantia X2 1.8 16V where unfortunately the remote control of the central locking system no longer works. I changed the battery and tried several times to re-learn the remote control, unfortunately without success. I bought a universal remote control at ebay and wanted to clamp it to the ZV control unit. So I removed the glove compartment, got the control unit out and now I can’t get any further. I quote Xantiarookie from the citforum: These are: On the black plug: Pin 2 and Pin 10 for the turn signals. Pin 13 mass. Pin 1 continuous plus. On the yellow plug: Pin 4 open. So I need Brown for the turn signals(on Pin2 and Pin10), Red for 12V+(an Pin1) , Black seems to be mass (Pin13). Non Connect is not needed, so Lock signal comes to pin 4 on the yellow plug, Unlock to pin 17. The third from above with the mass sign then comes together with the Black Mass cable to pin 13 of the black plug? And what does the mass sign on the Unlock signal mean? The fourth from above is not labeled at all. What could that be? Have no idea of electrical engineering and would be happy if someone could help me. . I should still get the soldering done Thank you

Moin, Moin As mentioned above, I drive a Citroen Xantia 1.9td Break Since about 2-3weeks the height of the rear sinks. Choosing lever position is normal, it is unloaded, and the tank is on reserve. When the picture was taken the engine was running I had a 14km long track behind me so the oil was already warm. But why the hell is the back so low? A year ago some “driver” for the hydraulics were repaired that can be broken again? What would that be exactly? Can you help me there?? Here still picture looks like.
