  • Ducati 916 SP3 buy ?

    Moin together! I want to have after 6 years Ducati Abstinenz finally times like a “red” under the back. Have there a SP3 with just under 20000 km at the fishing, which was already some years not driven. Unfortunately I have absolutely no idea what I can pay for the buck, I should make him times an offer.   • Ducati Monster the right bike for me?

    Hi guys, I’m new here in the forum and my search unfortunately did not yield anything. Short to me, I am 36 and drive about 10 years motorcycle. My first bike was a ninja about 6 years, then my wife became pregnant and I switched to a VN 750 because of child. But I was never really satisfied with the low performance and the bad corner position, is just ne Chopper now I want something else. In question would come a monster or hornet, whereby the monsters more suit me. Mei n budget is 4k. I have read that the monsters want to be warm for a certain time, because I also want to drive them for the work path which is just 30km I don’t know if they thank me for that. Do you get for 4k something decent where you don’t have to do something all the time? Maybe you can help me with my decision. Greetings Daniel

    Hello guys, I’m a newcomer in the world of the motorcycle, but absolutely Ducati fan. I’m just about to make my driving license, but I’ll be forced to drive 2 years with 34hp. I’d like to know if a Ducati Monster 696 or a Hypermotard is too high for the beginning. I tend to the Hypermotard more and would like to get those too, but before I do, I’d like to know if it’s really advisable or if I’d rather start small n should. filip

  • Problem with the side stand

    Hello, I’m new here and need urgent help. I bought a 748s two years ago and am very happy with the vehicle. Unfortunately, one of the previous owners had fun doing handicrafts and created more problems than to improve the vehicle. So he pulled out the side stand switch, among other things. He probably wanted to achieve that he can run the engine in the stand. This works too, but as one can think, it is also possible after this procedure. I want to restore the original condition. I don’t know how to connect the side stand. Can someone please send me some pictures of how the cable runs from the side stand switch to the side stand relay? Where is this relay located?   • Beginners- 191cm – 796 vs. 1100(S) vs. 1100 EVO

    Servus together, short to me. Beginners, 23, 191cm tall and still 1.5 years probation time. I am faced with the agony of choice which machine I buy. It will probably run out on Ducati or a Z800e. During the week I would drive to work and university and then on the weekend then Landstraße, because I live in Munich. Besides, I plan to do the one or other tour and for shorter distances (about 3h) also take a Sozia with me. Actually I wanted to spend a maximum of 800€, thus would have dropped out of the EVO. But now I’ve seen that there is more for 700-800€, partly already EVOs. Would a 1100er, of the size better suited, than a 796er ? If yes, it would make sense to invest the 700-800€ extra for the EVO ? To drive a tour or take a socialia for a few hours should go on a 1100 nevertheless, or ? PS: Shit…. I think I should admit that the monsters are too small for me or ? Did just still have a few threads read and apparently most people over 185cm are not really lucky, whether 796 or 1100….

  • Cockpit exchange and immobilizer at Monster 900 i.e.

    Can anyone here tell me if there is a direct functional connection between the cockpit and the immobiliser? What happens if you install another cockpit? Does the immobiliser no longer work? I actually thought that the immobiliser is sitting somewhere on the vehicle and not in the instrument cockpit. And that in the cockpit is only the indicator that the WFS is active. Can one actually have the mileage data transferred? Who knows answers to these questions.

  • Battery voltage too high ?!

    Evening people ;D I have the following problem with my Ducati Monster 695 Bj 2006: The good one has only driven 4000 kilometers but has stood for it a lot, so much to the bike. Now my problem. I start the motorcycle and come with the speed (whether idling or under load) on something over 1500 revolutions the motor control light goes on, let it run in idle run the lamp off. Now I was with a colleague who has read out the error the is battery voltage to High. Only when I measure at the battery everything is top. But I leave it on the voltage goes to 15 V. Now I have removed the controller and see the error disappears. So new controllers ordered, built in and still the same Sch****. Would be grateful for every tip ;D LG Dominik

  • Ducati 796 & 1100 high mileage experiences and problems

    Hello I wanted to ask once in the round who has experiences with longevity of these air-cooled engines. I myself have not tried a Ducati yet. I find the concept and also the motorcycles in which these engines are installed very interesting throughout. Hypermotard and also monsters. According to my understanding the 796…. up to 1100 air-cooled engine are not great. However, these are now already motorcycles with 15+ years on the hump. I don’t shy away from a lot of kilometers. My VFR also has 100k+ Kurz um… Who has experience with these engines and running performance beyond the 30k? Would I look forward to a few opinions to appreciate what I’m getting myself into Thank you very much

  • Ducati Monster 1000 goes out while driving

    Hello everybody, my Ducati is having trouble again. I got her out of hibernation today and she jumped without any problems. After about 10 km drive she went out of my way at once, started again worked but she went out again for me about every 2 km, time and again the speedometer also played crazy and displayed significantly faster speeds. If jmd had an idea what this could be, I would think about the injection first or about the steering wheel. guessed. Thanks for your help
