Hello together!! I recently polished my car (black metallic) and then waxed with Meguiars NXT Tech Wax. Everything wonderful. You didn’t see any holograms or streaks! Now I washed my car again (handwash with Meguiars wash glove and detergent) and then dried off (with Meguiars microfibre cloths). And now you see such streaks when the light falls on it. Before the laundry they were not to be seen!!! What am I doing wrong?? I can’t always grow the car back after the laundry so that these streaks are gone again. Thank you for your tips!!!

Advice for the beginner for the polish
Hello dear community! I plan to bring my privately bought car to front and need your help for that. – BMW 116i Bj 2008 – Black Metallic – paint full of fine and a few depth scratches, since the previous owner was not nice to the car, never handwashed. Since I have a not too big budget, I would naturally like to try to get the best price/performance ratio, which is why I have now planned the following for the amateur preparation. 1 x Lupus Premium Wash Mid / Wash Glove Carshampoo + 2 Buckets 2 x Lupus Super Plush 530 Drying Cloth Microfibre Cloth 90x60cm for drying after washing 3 x Lupus Super Plush 530 Microfibre Cloth 40x40cm for polishing + wax decrease 1 x Lake Country Polishing Pal Handpolierhilfe 4 x Lake Country Cutting Pad for the Handpolierhilfe orange (Reichen so many for a complete handpolitur of a 1er BMW?) 1 x Magic Clean Cleanker blue 100xxxxLupus applicator will not be used for a nice wax on me.

Obligation to prework with high pressure cleaner? Car was not clean after gantry cleaning
Hello dear fellow forists, I just got very angry at my gas station: I took the most expensive car wash extra, because a high-pressure pre-wash is integrated. After the laundry the car was not clean and also the cloth for the wax removal from the disk had been forgotten. So in the store and noted that the car unfortunately did not get properly clean, despite the most expensive laundry. ANSWER: After they have worked the with the high-pressure cleaner before? I: No I had no suitable small change. ANSWER: Then I can do nothing for them. I: I did not know that I was obliged to pre-work. ANSWOR: They are also not. But if they don’t do it, I can do nothing for them. I am then out without greetings with the wax removal cloth. At the last time a “after-wash” with the simplest program was possible without any problems. What do you think, how should I react? Is there the pleth to pre-work?

Is it OK to do car washing?
Hi, please excuse the question, because of the diversity of the forum around car care I am totally beaten up. I want to bring my 4 year old car with black paint again something on front. There was never more than washing system. I plan to drive with him into an SB washing machine, foam in and clean it properly. Then I dry it with MF cloths. Then I want to polish it by hand with Sonax Xtreme Polish & Wax 3, then remove the leftovers with MF cloths and then seal it with Sonax Protect & Shine. Is the process so OK or do something wrong with it? The Sonax products were given to me, so I would also like to use them. Thank you for your advice!

How to maintain new headlights?
I had 2 new headlights, which the plastic of the old SW was already a little attacked. I didn’t want to polish, because no good experiences. Now I want to keep the new ones as long as possible. Can someone recommend me a good remedy, what I can do as a kind of “protective layer” on it, so that insects and dirt etc. won’t solidify? Does spray wax, wax for the paint, quick detailers…? So coatings, which are applied after grinding of headlights to get a new UV protection are not a concern for me with completely new SW.

Old red Mercedes – completely matt – how to proceed?
Hello, I have a W201 in red here. Well, it’s not really red anymore. I also freed the car from moss for the time being. I only have a cheap plate machine available. I fought with the bonnet today. The result was not as good as I would have liked it to be. On the fender I polished with red-white, but laboriously ok. The bonnet barely went with it, I passed with Menzerna, went well, but the result as I said could be better. Red white dried immediately, could hardly be polished any more. Do you have any tips? And with what would you seal the red after the polish?

Smart Repair / Polishing – Ford Focus ST 170 – polish for the first time – Feedback
Hello, I want to tell you what I did and look forward to feedback. It was my second time that I polish parts, but for the first time with three passes!. Ford Focus ST 170 BJ 2003 in silver with almost 232,000km! –> more there is on my Motory profile (signature). Because the topic was just up, last week I polished a spotlight. Today the time was enough to tackle one of the biggest scratches at the back left. Wouldn’t have thought that this went out so well. Fliest also went away, fortunately, since the kneading I did not manage to remove it with another car. Products: Kraus 125€ Excent polishing machine, Würth polish and pads from Abbrasiv to Fine in 3 passes (green, blue, orange). Step 1: Greenish laundry (high pressure, rims (3rd bucket), Kärcher foam nozzle FJ10 with Kärcher mix, high pressure, hand wash with 2 buckets), dry with nigrin? Detach and moist microfiberpad 2: Coating with padding with silicone cleaning the same time.

Care Golf 7 in Night Blue
Hello dear car care professionals! After several years of black cars, there is now one in the color Night Blue. I have to admit, however, that I had after my black Edi30 a black GT Sport TDI, which I definitely did not care for any more due to the increased driving effort. For my Edi30 I had bought at that time some for the care, whereby I currently only have the many cloths and pads left. Also a wash glove is still with me, and the one or the other is still stuck in my head….2 Bucket, preliminary work is the most important, only to drop nothing 😉 The following products I would buy, whereby I have to 2-3 parts still questions. Schampoo Dodo Juice Born to be mild or Sour Power Politur Meguiars Ultimate Compound (is there to this an alternative? Fand it with the hand partly very difficult to process) Lack Dodo Juice Lime Prime (is this for blue also good?) Hartwachs Dodo Juice Blue Velvet (also suitable for blue?) Of course it is a mirror shine, but the good job, but of course I don’t do not make a nice thing for blue.

Basic equipment for new vehicle maintenance
Hello, I hope that I am right here in this subforum. I have a brand new motorcycle and a slightly older car. I would like to take care of both with the same products. With the motorcycle, the preservation is very important to me, so especially without swirls etc. The car also has some deep scratches up to the primer. The car should not look like new, simply clean and well maintained, which is why I concentrate my purchase mainly on the motorcycle. elesen. And since it came to the decision that the company “meguiars ” should not be bad. I must confess that I have always cleaned with supermarket products. I also disturbed the HP of meguiars but they simply offer too much. What I am looking for: wash glove microfaster cloth for drying div. microfaster cloths for various applications plastic cleaner rubber care rim cleaner shampoo ( whereby I had so far that of S100, which really not to be bad It seems ) Kette adhesive tape ( I would take that from 3M ) sponges for application of various mediums Am I well positioned with it? Especially if I buy everything from meguiars? Or what else do I need? Especially in what degrees of hardness to clean the varnish extremely gently. I am unreliable with the polish and would need your help what I need. As I said, the paint should remain new and Swirls / holograms should disappear. Since the motorcycle is rather a small area offers I want to start with the hand polish and for the time being not invest in a machine. ( especially since I do not polish the car often anyway, only wash ) What kind of polish + products can I use for the finish? Also gladly from meguiars. Thank you very much

Remove stickers free of odours and varnish-friendly
Hello Gemeínde, for a week now I am also a proud 4F owner. I got an update from 4B Avant Built 11/2001 (3.0, 220 HP, Multitronic) to a 4F Avant Built 07/2008 (2.8 FSI, 209 HP, Handschaltung). I’m a fan of “Destination of the type and displacement specification”, therefore I was enthusiastic about the “clean” rear view. Unfortunately, the dealer has disfigured me the beautiful brilliant black tail with one of his brilliant! et. The contrast is so sharp that you can still see the sticker shining in the dark. In my opinion, it is enough if the plate holders and the floor mats carry his advertising print. In addition, with his price policy, he unfortunately left me no room for the acceptance of such optical highlights. How can I get the Babberl now residueless and above all polish-friendly down again? A matt stain would of course bother me even more than the Babberl. a a (home) medium? What have you already successfully applied?
