Huhu I’ve been on the Collinite 476 since spring due to many positive reports and I have to say I’m more than disappointed with the service life. I washed, kneaded and degreased at the end of March 2 Fzg (white (MB) and magmarot (Mazda) and treated Kplt with Collinite 476. The result was quite appealing; today for a month time really rain and I see with both Fzg. the roof is a single closed water surface. Wide run as if never wax or similar It was applied. Go bonnet and rest – but on the roof a single disaster. Both Fzg were not washed in between or driven through a washing machine. My cheap SONAX-Hartwax still let the water be pearled after 5 months of winter – sorry but I am just cardboard-sat. I still have one thought – can it be that the Collinite-Zeugs is dissolved by pollen etc? Because I had plenty on the car. Does someone have similar experience with less Stand by the Collinite? Thank you

New car maintenance
Yesterday I received my Golf 7 R-line IQ Drive in the colour “Indium Grey”. The vehicle is 8 months old and flashes and sparkles accordingly thanks to a preparation by the car dealership. I would like to keep the car in this condition and therefore ask for tips and products that continue to maintain the paint. A nice start to the weekend!

Polish/prepar plastic window frames
Hello, this is a car forum, but the procedure is analogous. We got new plastic windows at home, while the exporting company partly got this foam on the plastic window. The foam is gone, but now the plastic surface is attacked. Partial scratches, partly matt. I load up some photos, but I don’t know if you can see it well. Since the company has botched, I have kept money and try to find out how I can I don’t really care about the scratches, but the surface should always be shiny and beautiful again. Do you have a tip on how to get this done? Maybe with a plastic polish? Or headlight polish? If so which etc.? Or do you think a car conditioner can do that. I would have polishing attachments for a cordless screwdriver, but would like to know your opinion, since here are the processing professionals. Thank you

Use eccentric polishing machine with old Nigrin polish?
Hello together, I intend to drive my car (Hyundai Ioniq HEV) as long as possible, so I want the car to always look as good as new. I possibly intend to buy an eccentric polishing machine from KUNZER 7PME15 . But now my questions: What do you think is better? 1. The processing by hand with polish (then grow / seal by hand if necessary) 2. The processing with the above mentioned eccentric machine with polish (then grow / 3. Can I still use my old Nigrin polish as a polish? (this is certainly 15 years old). I once pictured this in an example photo. Normally polish does not age, but are these also suitable for machine use with the Eccentric Polishing Machine? P.S. I once had the Fiat 500 C professionally prepared. The result with the preparation was already great. But : The preparation also has including interior care, so complete This is why I protect my car as often as possible with this Kayme tarpaulin/car garage, because the car is more outside. Thank you for your opinions on the subject of manual/machine/with old polish possible? Best regards

A solution instead of a question : easily remove polish residue from plastic !
Hello people ! Everyone knows the problem : Once you don’t pay attention to what you forget to stick off or maybe the tape has solved itself … already is a decorative strip or whatever is nicely sucked in with stubborn polish that is in the recesses of the grained plastic If you googelt around you find thousands of solutions, mostly on a chemical basis. Almost all have what in common : The polish comes sooner or later nevertheless again to the appearance happens today but in the Ne tz on THE tip that really works !! You just take a fingernail brush like everyone has lying around in the bathroom….bite toothpaste on it and water – and you can save yourself the plastic parts quite easily at which already many chemical clubs have miserable failed ! Simple, almost free and for everyone doable which can brush itself in the morning actually is so banal that you might ask yourself why you can not get there long ago is, isn’t it? Sorry if one or the other was so smart before me – but in the forum I didn’t find anything to do with it.

DIY wax/sealing with best service life for many motorway kilometres
Hey! I’m pretty familiar with the usual paint care or treatment program and used to use Collinite 476 in the past. After I currently cycle down many kilometers, mainly on the highway I would like to have something with more service life. Optimal would be a means that can also run off wash roads. After I have neglected my 3 year old Super-B for the last 6 months, I would like to go through the full program again. Large garage is available n. Can anyone approve my program again and recommend me a seal that corresponds to my driving/use profile? Wash thoroughly Kneading paint cleaning with machine polish (1-2 steps) Sealing (only which ones?) As I said, after I do many kilometers and not have all the time in the world, the later use should also be as straightforward as possible, as possible suitable for washing roads without having to move back with details in every small spot….

Correct polishing
Hello guys. I wanted to ask a few professionals here for help. I drive a BMW e46 cabrio in Cosmosblack. I have cared for the car recently (last 2 years) little because of house construction. The paint is not nice anymore and also has various scratches. Before I have it painted again, I would like to apply it myself. The paint will last for a certain 2 years. I describe eucj times my procedure. -Car wash with high pressure cleaner and 2 buckets Metho In addition 2 wash gloves for top and bottom -knead car – wash car again -dry with silicone puller and microfibre cloth Then polish I have a polishing machine from power pack 650watt/1600 to 6200 turns and a stroke of 9 mm polishes Menzerna heavy cut 400 Menzerna super finish plus 3800 Sonax wax polishing pads I have 7 different hardness degrees I have on my other two cars (BMW arctisgrey and titaniumgrey metallic) with very strongly weathered varnish relatively g But I’m afraid of holograms in black paint. Can you give me tips?

After washing with the high pressure cleaner(washing system) still dirty?
Good evening, I wash and vacuum the entire car every week (Saturday). I attached the pictures of the “program”. I always make the shampoo on it with the high pressure cleaner from the bottom to the top, let it work for 60 seconds(1x per month) Then from the bottom to the top with the high pressure cleaner Rinse down from the roof or until the whole soap and everything is gone After that paint conserve 1x quickly (every 2 weeks) and at the end neatly shine from the roof down. blem: Somehow it is quite wet, or not at all dry or shiny. When I go home, the car is still dirty, stained, etc… Should I dry it with a leather cloth after washing? (you would need a huge part, possibly several ^^) Otherwise I have heard an “automatic” washing system should be harmful, because of the scratches etc. I have never done before. I could also wash by hand, think that is probably the best thing, that can be done jedo A little too elaborate every week ^^ What can you do and what is that?

New car – How do I handle the hand wash properly?
Hello together, Since last week Tuesday I call an Audi A3, year 2018 in Mythschwarz my own. My previous polo until recently I creaked in the washbox and then wiped roughly dry, which at first glance also brought relatively good results to light – but with the new car you want to increase of course. Already at the end of the polo run I looked at some YouTube videos and then from Koch Chemie the Gs, the Gsf as well as the BMP and an FM10, I also found a tolerating washbox. My previous steps were: 1. Foaming with the active foam (Gs and Gsf mixture according to bottle) 2. Rinse 3. Two bucket laundry with microfiber washing glove and vieeel water, working from top to bottom and washing the glove after each part. 4. Rinse with osmosis water 5. Drying with microfiber cloth Now it is well known that black is quite sensitive, how can I prevent me from getting Is this where you’re scratching?
