  • Polishing the windshield?

Greetings to everyone Unfortunately, I had to find out that with the windscreen wipers I probably wiped some grain of sand or something about the windshield. It sees two very fine superficial scratches. I now want to try to polish out the scratches myself with a glass polish. Has any of you tried this already and had success? As I said, the scratches are very fine. I have a DA polishing machine from Liquid Elements (T3000) and now also have my own pad for the glass ordered (shinemate felt pad) as well as the Glass Polish by Sonax as well as the Ceriglass by Carpro. Before I reach for the polishing machine, however, I wanted to try it first by hand with an applicator pad. Does anyone have experience with the polish of glass and can you get out such superficial scratches yourself without having to go straight to the workshop? What about the polish by hand? Can I polish out such fine scratches even by hand? Problem to use the polishing machine, but if it also works by hand, I would prefer the method. Thank you for the help.

  • Washway vs. SB washbox

Hi So far I have washed my car (Mercedes GLA 200) in a wash road (Best Carwash and Softcarwash). I am now thinking about changing to an SB-wash box (Softcarwash) to save the paint. However, all wash boxes near me do not allow hand wash. So I have to use the existing brushes and shampoo. I have already read often that this can cause damage in the paint (old brushes, dirt in the brushes). Is a good wash road or an SB-washbo x (Softcarwash) with the existing brushes better for the paint?

  • Which equipment & procedure is useful for beginners?

Hello, Would you like to do something good for the paint of my car… I’ve already read and bought a little bit, now the question is if I still have something crucial missing. The car doesn’t have bigger scratches, but some micro scrapers & impurities. Also some small stone hits except for the primer on the bonnet. Actually doesn’t want to put in too much time and money, but the car is constantly being soaked up is also no alternative. Especially over the winter. I do e infach mal ne Liste der Pflege-Toole&Mittel ich haben: Hardware: – 2 DIY buckets, 1x Grit Guard – Petzolds Fix 40 Wash glove – Fine Multimaster with 125mm polish pads – Liquid Elements Orange Baby Dry cloth 90×60 – Cheap microfibre cloths (door handles and other hard to reach places) – Cheap kneading Liquid goods: – RainX – Michelin 92508 Insect remover “Green Concept” – Liqui Moly Rim cleaner – Nigrin Autoshampoo – Sonax Xtreme Polish Wax 2 – Dursol Autosol Edel C hromgloss (for chrome strips & exhaust) – Elster gloss You could of course buy a lot more… eg.: – Valet Snow Foam & Alta Foam 2000 for pre-wash – Lubricants for dough (really necessary? Or does soap liquor not?) – Detailer – Other polish & hard wax sealing – Nen other eccentric polishers – Wheel Brush The questions: Is a foam sprayer really irreplaceable… or does the foam from the SB washbox to soak in with “normal” dirt? H Do you use the Fine Multimaster for the Ne Newbie-Politur & Wax (or as in the case of the Xtreme Polish Wax 2 both at the same time…) halfway suitable or shouldn’t you even try this because the results only lead to frustration? If the Multimaster is absolutely scrap for this application: Buy better polishing pads and rent them by hand or eccentric grinders from the hardware store? At Obi there are some. And is the Xtreme Polish Wax even suitable for machine processing? If I decide to replace the Xtreme Polish Wax with a real polish and hard wax seal… doesn’t that draw a huge rat tail after itself, both materially and financially – since I suddenly need several polishing agents, different hard polishing sponges, details and of course the hard wax itself? Sorry for the many questions… but the topic is now really complex and diverse. 😉

  • Protecting paint correctly

Hello, I’ve had an F20 of 2017 for a few weeks now. Now I wanted to ask how to wash the car the most gently and then seal it or waxes? Driving into a washing machine is already a taboo. I have Black Unilack. You can see, if you look right at it, many micro scrapers. Can you remove them or make them more invisible?

  • Topping with Sonax Netshield + washing with NXT

Hello, just start up 1. Does it bring something like Shniy Garage Glaze to be applied before and then topping with Sonax Netshield? I know that many amigo take. Shiny Garage’s Glaze is also based on polymer. 2. Do you like to wash with Sonax Wash and Protect as well as the Megurias NXT, which is also supposed to be commonplace with polymer. The protective sealing of the Shampos Topt the Netshield or rather not? 3. I also like the detailer Sonax Shin in the summer. e & brilliant. So after the whole procedure I would have a 4x topping ? Glaze / Sonax Netshield / Megurias NXT or SWP / Sonax Shine and Brilliant Please clear me up if I’m wrong what I think anyway

  • Corrosion in the paint

I happen to have found this spot in the paint under the window (middle height of the door). Diameter is about 3-4 cm. Then white paint shimmers through, so no rust visible. Does anyone know what this is and what I should do?

  • Which Dodo Cleaner as wax preparation? (partial filling)

Hello together, on the weekend I will send my 4 week old new car a first correct treatment. So far I had only been foamed several times and washed by hand with 2 buckets. On Saturday I want to knead the paint after washing and then prepare for the 476s. One reads that the Pre Cleaner of Dodo should get out a great shine already beside the cleaning. Of course this product is much more expensive than Isopro with water. However, there are some Dodo Produ the simple Pre Wax Cleaner, the Dodo paint cleaner, the Plus and the Lite if I see this correctly and the descriptions differ not so big. The car is so far Mackenfree and the varnish should simply be cleaned and brought to shine, so that the wax can unfold the full performance. I still have to add that I had the car foiled. Schweller are white and it has rally stripes in glossy white. Is the Dodo also suitable for this? Which one is it? Do you recommend it?

  • Wash home?

Servus, How is it with the car wash at home? – Allowed, not allowed? Accepted? Patienced? Only on sealed ground with sewage connection? My best buddy runs an SB wash park, and he tells me that no drop of washing water can touch the ground if it doesn’t run into an oil separator. But this is his commercial view, private everything is usually a little different. As long as you don’t do engine wash can actually not be oil in the washing water. t wants to wash with my buddy: bucket laundry is not desired, if not expressly forbidden. But I have to take care of course, and can only bring this if little is going on. … Only at the times when I have time to wash, it also has the majority of the rest of the population. I live in a quite busy street, through which a lot of pedestrians march through. I just don’t want to get into trouble. To wash with clear water I wouldn’t have any concerns It doesn’t even matter if it’s actually harmful to the environment or not, it looks unnatural and so people think it’s the most toxic stuff you can imagine. Our farm has a run, but it’s only paved. I always assumed that car wash was an absolute taboo at home. Until I got the impression in various care forums that for “care enthusiasts” this is the most normal of the Can someone explain to me how it is with the regulations? And what experiences do you have with Literary Fence Visitors?
