  • Brown splash on paint

Hello guys, I have an Opel Astra J GTC, color mineral white, such a light gray-white metallic. I usually do car washing once a month. The usual wash road at the tank, and if necessary repolize with Sonax wax. Today what it is again so far: wash road at the gas station nearby, drive home, sunshine, and I see so first brown dots. Both sides at the doors and lower surfaces. When looking more closely it is whole splashes or heaps of reddish-brown F I took my Sonax Xtreme BrilliantWax to polish it away. Unfortunately, it didn’t work. I didn’t know where these brown spots were coming from, nor did I ever have that. I’ll probably go to the workshop tomorrow and ask what helps. Did you ever have something like this? LG, Drago

  • Menzerna Politur for my project

Greet all of you, I, never a car polished, would like to prepare my BMW E61. I’ve done the car for 5 years and never done anything on the paint, except of course. The car itself is BJ.2009 I would like to refresh the paint a little bit with simple means. I realize that I can’t get it 100% but would still want to try it. I don’t have a polishing machine. Would polish with hand. I’ve seen some products at Mezerna now and I’m at the One-Ste p Polish 3in1 landed. The car has strong holograms and some very fine scratches caused by washing line and box wash. Is the product recommended or for my project the right one?! Thanks in advance

  • HELP, I messed up the paint when polishing…

Moin, so ́n sch****, got to me last night while polishing in the garage, messed up the paint… Background of the whole action has been, because I drive a black car, you can see of course every “fur” on the paint among other things also these small wash road scrapers… Ok I thought, take a good profile polisher and the care additives of 3M and start to do something about it.Did then start with the light machine polisher (The light blue for all the 3M know), the scratches au and then polished and sealed on high gloss, was almost 4h there… Yesterday in the garage at the “Neonlicht” everything looked quite perfect, only today I looked at the result again in the sun and hit me almost the blow… In the whole varnish, are now so-called “holograms”, i.e. small circular traces, as one knows them from the brushed aluminum … Such a crap, what went wrong, actually did everything like Is the paint completely messed up now and I have to have it painted NEW or gets it polished out by a professional…. PLEASE, need help urgently, I could really “break into food”…. Thanks, by a completely kinked regular user… Bear

  • Spray off SB-Box at -10 degrees without drying?

Hello guys, I’ve been wondering since the temperature drop how to maintain my car care now? Did I only start the 2 buckets of hand wash with this car and therefore I’m not yet familiar with how to proceed in winter, with lots of snow and low temperatures? My last hand wash was about 3 weeks ago, but it was still around 0 degrees. The vehicle is however by now very dirty and there is a lot of salt and snow mud on it. Now to my actually Question: Is it okay if I drive into the SB box and the car with a pre-spray program “foam and then rinse off the stain-free water while cleaning the rims? Or does there exist without the drying (which only goes if it is washed properly), the danger that you can get lime stains or residues on the paint? Did in the summer have a problem with a burned-in (by the sun?) lime stain, which I afterwards with citric acid again away How do you do that? I mean at -10 degrees I won’t really be able to do a hand wash without the fins being frozen afterwards.. Btw: and NO, I’m not driving through the washing machine for once! She already hit me in the paint on the first and last attempt, didn’t have another peek on it.

  • How long do you leave a car with a salt crust?

Hello, my car is in an underground car park this year for the first time during the winter and is therefore no longer automatically “washed” by rain or snow. At the same time I am through Corona in the permanent home office and the car is not moving for weeks. So that has car now a approx. 3 week old salt crust on the paint and so slowly I wonder how “healthy” that is actually? Is that enough if I go there today with a little water & sponge or do I have to n the washing machine? (also because of underbody?) Or is modern paint completely insensitive and I can leave it like this for months?

  • Spots on paint don’t go out

Hello Together With my Mercedes GLA 200 I have many small stains on the roof (see picture in the appendix). At first I thought that they are paint damage (stone strokes), because they are small white dots. If I drive over them with my hand, the paint is rough. In the workshop they said that it might come from a tree (but no longer know which one). With the fingernail you can remove them. How to remove them best (with the fingernail is a bit elaborate) ? I’m not in the wash road and after the workshop they were still there (there the car was also washed). I used the Sonax MultiSwmm 2 in 1: https://www.sonax.de/…/multischwamm-1-stück I used only the gray side and so it didn’t go out. Could I also use the white side or can make this more scratching in the paint?

  • which preparation and what can a professional preparation cost?

Hello, I would like to treat my VW Touareg something good. Was at my local VW service.. Asked there for a preparation. He meant what really good to find in matter preparation is difficult. Well my Touareg is only three years old. But you can see that I am quite a lot in the washing machine. What preparation is there for the outside the best? Is ne nanosealing advisable? And inside? Have everything in leather and piano lacquer or piano lacquer optics in black. Car has never seen a cigarette before! When you suck out dust is back relatively quickly. How can you get the dust out again? Because I find the dust is only now since the third year there. In black you can see everything….. is a ozone treatment advisable? What can cost? What is more important to me that it is good instead of cheap…, Would I be happy about some good tips!

  • Spray sealing-do not recognize the meaning or application errors?

Hello, since the manufacturer of my vehicle is ridden by a machine wash (because of the factory attached sticker) and strongly recommends hand wash, I had to deal with the topic of hand wash in more detail recently. I also came across the topic of spray sealing. I thought I would try this out and got a wet seal during the rinse on the SB box. Always nice in individual zones only water then spray sealing, dan Rinse n, as recommended in the instructions for spray sealing. Dried then with microfibre drying cloths. Result: When it has rained, the water beads on the paint look great, but as soon as the car is dry, the absolute disaster. The dried away beads leave a pattern of ugly, small round dirt stains, the car looks like a ladybug. Before the spray sealing the rain water has simply expired and has the dirt Is this an additional side effect of a spray sealing (then the topic of spray sealing would have been done for me) or do I possibly do something wrong? VG Günter

  • Make yourself self-employed with a car preparation

Hello, I’m thinking about making myself self-employed as a conditioner. SuFu showed many older reports about it. My specific question is, this profession is lucrative after founding and can be earned with it. In my radius of 35km there is no conditioner, so I would like to raise a company here. Many companies with pool vehicles and car dealerships that I want to address directly. Capital is available as well as 5 years of experience in the Brance

  • Support fast winter wash?

Hello guys, a question to the care professionals who have been asking me for a few weeks: My last car was a 12 year old, black Volvo combi with almost 300,000km on the clock. It was clean or dirty, came irregularly into the washing machine – or not and was all in all a pure everyday vehicle. My new car has been a white convertible for a few weeks now, it’s all a bit different. Apart from the fact that the fabric canopy is something new, a white car i of course, you can see it all much more with a white car than with a black one. Now I actually wanted to avoid our local, partly already very old washing facilities, because these partly nevertheless very rough with the car and wash more by itself. Our local self washing system offers however no really great cleaning possibilities like Snow Foam Lanzen o.ä. but only the classic brush and a high pressure cleaner. Hand wash is evenly In winter, however, I am not allowed to do so, but actually too much effort. Actually, the car should only be freed from salt and dirt every few hundred kilometres and not be highly polished. Unfortunately, washing at home is not possible, which the municipality forbids. So my wish would be to find a product that I can use on the self-washer after the vehicle has been sprayed. For example, from a spray bottle. Because the high-pressure cleaner alone brings the dirt nic I don’t want to scratch over the car with the completely finished foam brushes. Is there something like that or do you have a recommendation for me? I’m not a “pet fanatic”, but it’s of course annoying if the road dirt pulls up to the windows and after the scratch and this barely recognizablely thin soap spew variant from the high pressure cleaner the car still looks the same as before.
