  • Which polish for VW Lack

Hello, I drive a 1 1/2 year old Golf 6 in tornadorot. The car was always washed by hand. After previous handpoli tower I now go one step further and have ordered a Kraus DB 5800. As pads are used Lake Country Orange and White. I would call the paint condition as well. However, there are unfortunately quite many micro scratchers available. The following basic equipment is available: MG Scratch x 2.0 MG Ultimate Compound Red white polish paste Red white top glan z Dodo juice bana amour CG gloss works Dodo juice lime prime lite CG jetseal CG blacklight CG P 40 Detailer as well as various MFT`s, Knete etc.. Ultimate compound and Scratch x have been processed so far by hand. But this is not the case against the Swirl`s. I am thinking about whether it makes sense for me to add a Menzerna entry set for the machine polish. Or should I use the UC further ? Would the UC not be too strong from the sharpness level only to Swirl removal ? Sorry for the many questions I got stuck on the subject somehow and can’t get any further. Especially since the offer of polishes is not really small. I would be grateful for every tip or experience.

  • Care of an eight-year-old Audi A5 dark blue-metallic

Hi you guys, I wanted to hear your opinion. A month and a half ago I bought the car. The dealer had prepared the car shortly before; I don’t know what he did exactly. In addition, there is the newly painted bonnet due to rockfall. As a result, the rainwater is currently draining from the entire body including hood. Can I therefore assume that I am excluded from the care (polishing and growing) this year? How often would you generally polish and grow ? Is it enough for the winter? In addition, the winter looks like this: I live in an area where it rarely snows and gets moderately cold. Nevertheless, there is always plenty of salt scattered. However, the car disappears in the garage from the beginning of December and comes to the road maybe twice a week. I will wash the car with my hand as soon as I was outside and was scattered. Only how do you do it with the underfloor wash if you are exposed to the danger caused by the he Waschstraße caused paint damage in principle does not want to go into the Waschstraße? Is there a program that only includes underfloor washing?

  • Question correct determination for first own car care measure

Hello together, since summer I drive an A3 Limo (EZ 2017) in racing mica blue and I would like to start with the car’s apple. I am a frequent driver, mostly highway and wash the car manually. (once been in a “new” wash road and immediately saw fine scratches on the rear fender in the sunlight). In addition a black A5 is to be polished afterwards. I polished some times my old black Toyota Auris but learn of course further to make it at the Audis besse I have read something at the start aid -> https://www.motor-talk.de/forum/starthilfe-autopflegeprodukte-welches-mitteltaugt-was-t2343379.html and created a shopping cart. 1. Prewash a https://www.deutsche-autopflege.de/shop/koch-chemie-green-star-1l]Universal Cleaner 1.1 Microfibre Glove from Alclean-> 1.2 To hide 2. for the bonnet Cleaning knead with the universal cleaner in a spray bottle as lubricant 3. Polish or this(must my opinion n I don’t think it’s rough, because the paint is not in a big bad condition?!). 4. Grow and/or seal? Carnauba wax would already be integrated in the first linked polish..Sealing On the other hand, I think about simply handing it over annually for about 150€ at the conditioner. Or even invest the 150€ in needed funds and carry out 4-5 times for it yourself. What do you say or recommend? I am grateful for tips.

  • Mazda MX5 NB, paint care for a beginner

Hello together, I have been in possession of this beautiful car for over 3 years, but in car care rather the washing system user and therefore absolute newcomer in the area. Since the MX5 is in a technically good condition, the thought of making it a hobby in the long term and also to care for it optimally from the paint. I have read some of the threads of beginners including the material consultation through and start with regard to the material stock, also at zero. Geles The FAQAuto polish as a beginner The following considerations will influence the further procedure: – Invest in all necessary care products – Time expenditure – Achievable result for a beginner On the topic of material investment I assume from approx.200 Euro (without electric polishing machine) to approx.500 Euro. The time factor is for me already much more critical, since I am independent and unfortunately also have to evaluate whether the hobby on the one hand the time expenditure as well as the The result is a loss of earnings (I know, sounds stupid, but is a criterion to be assessed at a planning office) This also includes the evaluation, which costs a clean paint treatment with a professional and whether it is not easier for me to continue working on the basis created by a professional. If the professional does all the work including washing, deep cleaning with varnish knete, polishing and sealing. There are between 250 and 400 euros here in the area. And then the question remains, how often in the year does this have to be operated so elaborately. So we would also be at the last point. How much better is the vehicle polished with heart blood and its own sweat compared to the result of the professional? If at all? For me, it would probably be ideal to have a workshop of autopolitur at my own vehicle in order to get all the essential components of vehicle care step by step shown by a professional. ss then also not be here in the area, for that I can take a weekend time, because the decision goes direction own care. Pictures of the car follow tomorrow, today the weather is really not suitable. The basic condition of the paint is ok, there are 1-2 small stone strokes, which have to be added with a paint pen (unfortunately by up to the (bright) primer). Thank you in advance for your comments and thoughts about the project. Gruss Cube

  • Scratches of fingernails

Hello As you can read on the title, I have small scratches in clear varnish through fingernails in the door grip pits, and also on the outside of the door also through fingernail. I obviously have a strange habit of holding the door on the outside while I get in. Pictures I reach out as soon as the light is right. Now to the problem. I have a garage, but no light and no electricity in it. In my possession are red-white polishing paste and A1 Spee d Polish. The Red-White Paste is great, but leaves behind minimal grinding marks, which I can get out by hand with the A1 polish. I don’t like to polish complete or half components continuously. At some point the paint is gone 😉 My car is dark blue metallic. Is there perhaps a gentle product, which is better suited here, or both somehow unites? Thank you

  • Please help!!! From the outside extremely fogged disks!

Hello community, the cold and humid season has now returned and since then I have again the problem with the foggy windshield from the outside (and actually also all other windshields). Now I have the problem with my car (a Polo 6R) especially in the morning hours (at 6:00 am) that when I get in, turn on the car and press the windshield wiper, the windshield is completely closed again after the latest 3 seconds driving. I don’t see anything lying! I have already been standing for 4-6 minutes and have put the ventilation on the disc with 100% and full of heat (unfortunately the air is getting extremely slowly only warm). But even this doesn’t really help me, because I have a small, approx. 30-40 cm high peekhole then, but this again slowly “sweeps” at the start of the journey. I know this all depends on the physics, the temperature difference between air and vehicle and and together… so please no physics explanations me hr. I have already read on several forums and pages, but found no solution that helps me. I wash my car by the way (if it’s interesting) with Koch Chemie Nano Magic Shampoo, which has a very low sealing content. And with my old car (a VW UP) I never had this problem. It was always wiped after a time and recently heated up the disc by ventilation. However, it was washed only in the washing system. I hope you have any Ti pps, suggestions for solutions or something to mitigate or get rid of this extreme fog effect.

  • Use lacquer seal for plastic parts?

Hello together, I know, a somewhat strange question, but for good reason: I always use the Chemical Guys Natural Shine Dressing for my BMW E36 for plastic care outside (ceilings, diffuser hood, window seals, rear-view mirrors – unpainted plastic). I’m also quite satisfied with it overall, only in the rain it doesn’t last quite long. Now a little misadventure has happened to me recently: I have maintained the unpainted plastic in the mirrors, and instead of The Chemical Guy’s Natural Shine Dressing uses the Chemical Guy’s Jet Seal 109 (Paint Sealing). Don’t ask me why, but it was an extremely hot and exhausting day, and the bottles were standing side by side (they look similar as well…). Anyway, I panicked that the plastic might not react so well and I ruined everything. I’ll be over it again with the MFT, but the seal was already completely in the plastic “eared up anyway”. The look is great (beautiful “original”, not as shiny as with the Natural Shine Dressing) and while other plastic parts are already screaming for care again, the mirrors still look as if they have just been made fresh. You also see that water is pearling very well. Now I wonder if varnish seal on plastic is an inside tip or yet a no-go? How can it behave on rough plastic (e.g. the bumpers) i I don’t dare to use it there, I’m afraid that the sealing in the bumps is too hard and you get a problem. A sealing should be applied thinly and then taken off again. What are your opinions/experiences on this topic?

  • How can I drive birds out of my parking lot where there are trees?

Hello, I have a plague, with me in the parking lot are trees that overshadow the place and I always 1 to max 2 days after the car wash the car is covered with bird droppings and the laundry was free. Is there a cheap, effective method to prevent the birds from drifting around there? Bird distributors at Ama are all rated as ineffective, since someone knows a good product?
