  • Individual consulting: eccentrics, pads, polishes..

Hello guys! ..I’m going through it!! For weeks I’ve made myself smart about a matching eccentric polishing machine, pads and polishes.. I thought. About four hours ago I made the decision to order and then started.. My plan (or my order list) was the following/r:1. Machine: Actually, it was clear that it was supposed to be the Dodo Juice Buf Daddy Orbital or a similar device. But now I have come across the KESTREL DAS-6. It cost 20 euros less and is still 2. Pads Here I completely lost the overview. I thought I need light, medium and sharp pads. But which for what and how many??3. Polishing(s) I was sure that it can only be Menzerna. I also have 2 Audi which should be processed in addition to my pass. But I don’t really look through what I need and what I don’t take a liter and what is enough 250ml.? I would really be happy about who I need for the Menzerna polishes. someone helps me out of my despair! mfG bebolus

  • A Saturday afternoon with Meguiars…

No I’m not the absolute full pro who uses a different rag for each square centimeter of his car with another cleaning product. I have to enjoy it and I have to look forward to a nice . clean car at the end. So I proceeded in the 5 hours: 1. Car with water hose thoroughly rinsed off. 2. In the front area and the mirrors Sonax insect remover let work, then wipe insect residues with sponge. 3. Car with lukewarm water and meguar 5. Wash the car again like 3 with cold water. 6. Spray rims with Sonax rim cleaner and clean accordingly. 7. Dry the car thoroughly. 8. Polish the car with Meguiar’s Swirl X. I’m thrilled. Easy to process and supergloss. 9. Protective application of Meguiar’s NXT Tech Wax. 10. Clean panes etc. As I said I’m not the professional, the products I’ve been looking for myself on the Internet and am satisfied with the result. When the Tech Wax is used up I actually wanted to try out a fixed Wax (e.g. Collonite Auto-Wachs No. 476). You read a lot about it here. Should also last longer. On the other hand I like the easy processing of Tech Wax. About tips and improvements of you I am happy !!

  • New Car Growing – Help for product selection

I started the article already in the A5 forum, now here unfortunately again, because here is more brand-mixed audience. Have a new car with Misano pearl effect. My general question about this was whether you can grow a new car the same or whether you should wait until the paint has hardened a bit. Here they told me that one wait is not necessary. So I want to grow the car for the next 2-4 weeks for the winter! I would order the yellow foam pads from Meguairs for this purpose n take, precleaning with Dodo Juice Lime Prime. because it was said there was better for less money….evtl Collinite 476? or yet dodo juice supernatural? or other things?! Standstill would be very important to me over the winter! What best to apply the wax??! I would wash with dodo juice shampoo (lime prime and shampo of dodo already available!) Dry off…I have an orange babies but I am not a microfibre friend – therefore have 2 puzzlers waffle! Please ask for even more inp ut!

  • Polish out scratches from powder-coated rims (pictures)

Hello Care Professionals, I wanted to ask you if you can polish out scratches from powder-coated rims, because I messed up my rims because a small stone or something must have stuck in the rags and so I have very fine scratches on my aluminum! Below are a few pictures of the damage attached.

  • Small, inexpensive and powerful vacuum cleaner sought

I’m looking for a vacuum cleaner for the interior. Only dry vacuum cleaners. The vacuum cleaner should be as compact as possible, not too expensive (up to 100€) and can suck reasonably. So not only make noise, but also what behind it. Good would also be a good battery vacuum cleaner, whereby I got here the Waeco Power VAC PV-100: http://www.amazon.de/…/ref=ord_cart_shr?… Have you got further recommendations for me? Small and powerful is the motto. Until later

  • Underbody protection – What’s more?

Hello! Would like to provide preventive underbody protection for my Twingo. So far it has hardly got rust and that should stay that way. Now I wonder how I can afford (*financially limited student*) for underbody protection. In the trade I find, for example, “pastes”, which are applied similar to wax or silicone, seals or zinc spray. All price very attractive. Does this bring what? What does the durability look like considering the normal stress (feuch As long as I don’t have to renew it monthly, I could still live with it. What is better in case of doubt? Such a sealant or zinc spray? Or are there better (favourable) preventive measures? LG

  • Liquid Glass Pre Cleaner Causes Scratches

Hello yesterday I tried out a small piece with the Pre Cleaner. The paint was milky AFTER the polishing of the Pre Cleaner, as if tiny small scratches were in it. On the bottle it says the following: Wash the vehicle and leather – clearly apply pre-cleaner – clear let in effect until milky veil is formed – clear polishing with a fresh cloth just as it was made and have a milky/scratched stain on the hood. Can’t get that away What should I do? there is something wrong? By the way, Uni Schwarz/4months old. Thanks already Ann

  • The first time polishing πŸ™‚ Tips and tricks from you for me πŸ™‚

Hey, I got my A3 on the weekend that is black painted and unfortunately all small scratchers whitened “spinning weave scraper” through a washing system with bristles. I bought today the following: 1.Sonax Xtreme Polish+Wax Nano Pro 2 8.99€ Removes washing system scraper and brings deep gloss protected and conserves super-lead polishable for all colorful metallic and scratch resistant lacquers For new and slightly stressed lacquer 2.Sonax Multischwamm 2.99€ To polish medium put on to 3.Sonax polishing cloths 15 pieces 5.20€ Fluffy soft polished cloth for a shiny lacquering gelegniss I paid for the stuff around 22€, I didn’t want to spend more than 20€ either. I was in a standard washbasin today to get the dirt down, but unfortunately there are now at the doors and on the hood some brown waterballs available, should I remove the before the polish again or does it matter?! How do I remove these best? I have no desire to dare ever Can I polish the car in my underground garage or do you need better daylight? How thick should the layer of the polisher be medium? How long is the exposure time? I’ve never done this before and wanted to get a nine shine by polishing and get rid of all the doofen washing machines scratches. I hope you can give me more tips and tricks, I think you can’t do anything wrong? Thank you very much.

  • China tool

I don’t know if I’m right here with the topic, but I’m going to write. I’m renoving a vehicle on my own. Yesterday I got a 220 volt electric shock on my welding device. My welding device, that I’ve never had in operation before, but already twice on warranty in repair. My welding device, that is not exactly cheap, is manufactured by a well-known German reseller in China, who then knows the stuff with his logo, (and various D 220 volts were attached to the housing when I measured. And the fuse was not possible. A few weeks earlier the fuse had flown in the house because the transformer had been incorrectly mounted inside. Was repaired on guarantee and sent back to me. Then on the first attempt really broke with welding, the drive of the wire from the anchoring (unbelievably windy design. Two wooden screws hold the engine in a barely 1m The hand was a long time deaf but now it’s working again. If I had been grounded somewhere I wouldn’t write in any forum anymore. I’ll leave this here as a warning. I’d also be interested in whether others have had experiences with China tools, and if so, which ones. Mine are at the moment rather negative. A drilling machine gave up its mind after half an hour, because of broken coals. I’ve only been buying Made in Germany for a few weeks, but that’s not so easy anymore. Even Metabo is now producing in China. And then I don’t want that stuff anymore.

  • Grow + Seal in one operation???

Hello dear cleaning friends πŸ™‚ I am a newcomer and would like to have answered a few questions. This forum is really great and helpful !! Thanks in advance πŸ™‚ 1.) I have read that you can mix wax + seal and apply it to the varnish. Is that right or do you have to seal and then grow? 2.) Is the simple seal not enough? 3.) How long does a seal last? 4.) What is the difference between wax and seal??? 5.) Which products do you recommend? A The best ones seem to be 3M, SwizΓΆl, P21 and Zayno… is that right in the rough? Where do I get Zayno products? 6.) How often a year should one grow or seal? Drive about 12,000 km, no garage. 7.) What cloths or pads do I use to grow or seal??? Thank you very much for your kind help. πŸ™‚
