Hello! I intend to buy a car in a timely manner. Swank between the new X5 30d and the new GLE 350d. Both with R6 diesel and Euro 6d temp.! Alternative would be the BMW X5 45e hybrid with R6 gasoline and OPF. My driving profile is approx. 4 x 3 per day and in addition at least 2 x 30km per week or otherwise also 4 x 30km per week. In the 3 summer months the 30km distances are largely omitted. In the year I do about 15,000 km, whereby of course there are also holiday trips with me. . Now my questions about the DPF and OPF: As far as I know, the DPF does approx. every 1000km a free burning process, if I interrupt the cleaning now due to the short distance, is that then a problem or can it fix this at the next longer distance immediately, by starting the cleaning precipice system-related again? On the other hand, I wonder if the DPF clogs faster, if I drive a lot of short distance between them again, so often several days in a row only distances of 3 Does this increase the free-burning cycles of the DPF? With the petrol engine with OPF, the question for me is whether this is similar to that of the DPF. The petrol engine has higher burning temperatures and gets warm faster. Does the free-burning process have to be carried out simply and faster? If there are many short distances, does the OPF move faster or doesn’t matter? Is similar to the DPF after about 1000km a free-burning process? Are the new R6 from Mercedes today, where the Reinigun g plant built close to the motor was also rather unproblematic compared to short distances? Many thanks in advance for the information. LG

How does a stabilizer work?
Hello, can someone explain to me briefly and flushly the functioning of a stabilizer on a car? Have already been looking on the Internet but I still don’t see what this component ultimately does. Let’s assume we have a stabilizer installed on the front axle and I drive a left turn. What happens now with the left and right suspension?

Rust stains in the parking lot in the area of the final exhaust -VWcTiguan 2017
I have just discovered 3 rust spots in my parking lot below the end pot of my Tiguan from 2017. I looked under but didn’t find anything. What can that be again? I really have the nose full of this cart. I bought the car as an annual car from VW 8 weeks ago and nothing but trouble. Defects so far: brake discs front warped dome bearings front crunchy gear front leaking tensioning roller timing belts scraped steering wheel crooked, numerous track measurements steering impact l inks higher than right What to do and how to behave towards the dealer?

Dualjet – Suzuki injection system
Good evening, only by chance I stumbled over the fact that at Suzuki, at least for some models, one works with two injection nozzles per cylinder. Thus the engine reaches very favorable EU consumption values (1.2 – liter with 90 hp has 4.3 l / 100 km, for comparison, VW Polo 1.2 TSI Blue Motion Technology with 90 hp has 4.7 l / 100 km and a Ford Fiesta 1.0 Eco Boost with 100 hp reaches 4.5 l / 100 km). So Suzuki achieves better EU consumption without direct injection and without turbocharger. I am now thinking about where the savings potential is supposed to slumber. I know that Opel once had a similar system some time ago, the “Twinport” – engines with two-part inlet curvatures and very high AGR – rate used a filling, – and a drift channel, which is why the high proportion of exhaust gas in the fresh gas could be equalized (and thus a high degree of dethrottle was achieved), but there was only one injection nozzle per cylinder installed. White jema and details about Suzuki ́s technique and the background? Here definitely the driving report.

New garage door opener – Request for help
Hello everyone. I lost my garage door remote control when shopping in the parking lot. Could not find it again unfortunately. So a garage door remote control bought again (the before was already an from the internet, same model – had good experiences with it – see picture) Full of action then on the small standing ladder and first pressed the small black button 1 second. He started to flash for about 5 seconds and in this time I had the button on the remotebed Ienung held down. – Nothing happens. Try again. Again no gate opened or closed. The small black head held down 2-3 seconds, then the light flashed faster. Again the remote control held down until the red light glowed normally. Another attempt. Nothing. Third attempt with the remote control at another place from the door opener. Nothing happens. Next try the small black button held about 4 seconds. The red small lamp flashes ever again. Again, the remote control held the button pressed. Nothing. Try again elsewhere. Again, no reaction from the door opener. What am I doing wrong? What could this be? Have included 2 pictures. Door opener and remote control. As I said, I had the remote control before and it worked. Please for your help. Thank you.

Convert Euro 4 to Euro 6 – Exhaust gas values?
Hello, I am the owner of a Ford Focus Mk. 2 Diesel and have some questions about the exhaust gas tests. Years ago I participated in a beta test for a device that should improve fuel consumption and contribute to the reduction of emissions. While the improvement of my fuel consumption was not so great (about 6%), I always had good values with each AU test. Now that the Euro-6 standard is very important, I want to understand what this means and see how far my Eur My problem is that I cannot detect the published limit values for Euro 4-6 on my exhaust gas test report (AU). Who can help me interpret this? Quote: Euro 4 limit values: CO = 0.5 HC+NOx = 0.3 NOx = 0.25 particle mass (PM) = 0.025Euro 5 limit values: CO = 0.5 THC+NOx = 0.23 NOx = 0.18 particle mass (PM) = 0.0045 particle number (PN) = 6.0 x 10 high 11Euro 6 limit values: CO = 0.5 THC+NOx = 0.17 NOx = 0.08 particle mass (PM) = 0,0045 Number of particles (PN) = 6.0 x 10 high 11Tractic values: max. 2.5 m-1 for motor vehicles with a first registration for 01.10.2006 max. 1.5 m-1 for motor vehicles with a first registration from 01.10.2006 and for 01.09.2015 max. 0.5 m-1 for all Euro 6 cars and Euro VI utility vehicles When I look at the data of my AU test (Bosch), I find no mention of NOx, etc. All I find is the turbidity value and in my car it is 0.01 and the arithmetic mean of the Trübun. g (H) is 0.61. From this I understand that the opacity value for my car is better than the Euro-6 standard, but is that enough? Where can I find the other values on my AU test? Can the TüV tell me all these values in a new test?

Driving without cathedral warehouses; costs
Hello dear ones, my question: Can I drive without a cathedral camp? Also highway? to the background: In the workshop new feathers were installed, because one was broken. After having my car in the workshop and then at the TÜV, it made quite bad noises when driving. Therefore I went there again today. Only then was I told that they forgot to install the cathedral camps. Should make another appointment and with cost of approx. 200-300€. The manager of the workshop said that they forgot to order them. He said that I can drive normally without the cathedral warehouse… Unfortunately, I don’t know anything more about cars.. don’t trust the workshop anymore. When I picked up my car at the workshop and TÜV appointment, it didn’t even jump on I’m happy about the answers! Thank you

CR Diesel is on strike – is my fuel frozen?
Since I don’t have to drive far anymore, I hardly use my diesel. Today I wanted to drive away because I have 500km of track tomorrow. But… the engine doesn’t start. You can hear the pump working, the starter has enough power and speed (recharged the battery again and again) … but nothing. Engine doesn’t start. I recently filled the box in early Aug, currently 1/4th in. Can it be that this “summer diesel” has clumped? How can I get my Malh yours now?
