  • Supplement to the certificate of approval

The seller was with me at the registration office and when I had already registered the car there was suddenly a side sheet with the registration certificate. There was also no TÜV report. The seller also said that you don’t need it and it is sufficient when it is in the old vehicle license. Didn’t believe that and he then decided to buy a car that I bought a car that was lower and I didn’t notice it before. After that, there was money against papers and keys. There’s also a no. Can you find out what exactly was installed there? Looks like a suspension spring somehow. On the first page there are a lot of tires and rim sizes first. Then come some things I can’t do much with. • Warning from Rhoox.com

Hello together, I would like to draw your attention to the “company” Rhoox. I ordered on 5.12.14 on the website of Rhoox parts to the value of 334,32€. Delivery commitment were 2-4 working days. Despite multiple emails, I received no answer. Also the company is not reachable by telephone. Now I was personally in Berlin to clarify the matter. Unfortunately, the managing director was not there, but his brother, who assured that he would know the money immediately or report it to me. h in the moment I was sitting in the office. Unfortunately I still have (as expected) no money in my account. Of course I can provide sent e-mails as well as an order and payment confirmation. PS: here the dubious company was already blocked

  • Limit of the feasible at 2-zone climate

New vehicle of the lower middle class. Is a 2-zone air conditioning worth their extra charge? Where can the limits of the feasible of a 2-zone climate lie, i.e. under what conditions does such a climate become practically a 1-zone climate?

  • Sealing material with high temperature resistance wanted ! ? !

Servus municipality, am looking for a sealing material that can withstand very high temperatures. It should be without metal inserts because the contour should be cut out by laser with little power. What is there on the market? If you have experience, please write with a few key data. Area of application would be 2-stroke moped exhaust gasket or curvature to resonance bulb…. MFG Andy

  • Extra acceleration by clutch tread

Hello, if I am on the AB and drive e.g. 100 and then the clutch only steps a little bit, that it grinds practically easily and then immediately let it go again, then I get a clear acceleration… a slight jerk forward and also on the tacho the needle quickly goes a little higher. How does this come about and is that harmful to the covering or anything else? I do this not constantly, but would be interested in it.

  • Maximum repair chassis normal?

With my car the HU was due recently and I had it made in order to save time, at the workshop closest for me, ATU. I then got a call, that the badge was not given because of a broken front axle spring and one must now exchange both front axle springs, “naturally” thus also the shock absorbers and “naturally” afterwards carry out an axle measurement. 1100 Euro. That seemed strange to me, because a fast research has shown that a spring onlin e is already available for 20 Euro (with shipping) and according to my knowledge from the technical mechanics and some years as an engineer in the car industry purely technically a complete exchange of the spring legs is by no means necessary if only one spring is defective. Likewise, however, my research has revealed that in the meantime it is clearly often argued that at least “forceful” both springs of one axle are to be exchanged and the follow-up measures as with me from ATU vo Because I didn’t want to wait forever I relied on my own knowledge and changed the spring myself. So 20 Euro material costs and 4 hours of working time – lack of routine and with the simplest tool of course I took longer than the workshop, where this should take at most a quarter of an hour for a single spring. Nevertheless, it was financially enormously worthwhile, because also as an experienced engineer I am very white I then measured the track with home appliances, so ok. Straight-out run and other driving behaviour also perfectly. I had the HU follow-up carried out directly at the TÜV and also confessed to them that I only changed one spring. The badge was issued unreservedly. But now I am very curious if the majority of my fellow human beings actually find it normal, with a simple routine repair of a bil Some wear parts, like the spring here, to get a repair service that costs about half an average net monthly salary. And do you really let this be known with the pairwise exchange of springs + shock absorbers + axle measurement? Or was my mistake simply to go to ATU – they have a very mixed reputation?

  • 0 – 100 km/h / acceleration from the level / real values

Hello! I have seen on the Internet a contribution on the topic “0 – 100 km/h / acceleration from the stand”, in which it was said that the stated values are not real on the part of the manufacturers, because there – exactly as with the consumption data – is tricked. Thus is measured in cold weather as possible, because then more oxygen is in the air and so the engine gives off more power. Or – similar to the dragster race – glue should be applied in the start area or there will be special tires Have you ever taken measurements – e.g. with GPS or otherwise – and checked the factory data? If so – what has come out of it? If you look at broadcasts such as “Grip”, they usually say that the consumption is higher in real life, but that the vehicles are at least 1 second slower from 0 to 100 – as far as I can remember – have never been said before. Are there any of you with “Test results” in the area “Mercedes from 500 hp? What experience do you have? How do the cars (W221 – S 600 + CL 600) run? Thank you for your support.

  • Battery take-off power

Hello, I had my battery tested today and the following result: Voltage: 12.56V Start power: 52% Charging state: 98% The whole thing with a Reault Kangoo 2011. When should I replace it (for low start power)?

  • Tragic joint dejected

For the time being: if this topic does not fit here please postpone! Had TÜV examination today, defects: carrying joint is knocked out. The thing is, exactly the carrying joint has been replaced in the autumn. The colleague of the contract workshop was not there, but his colleague said on the carrying joint are anyway 2 years guarantee. But what does that mean that a carrying joint has been knocked out? Do you have to just have it straightened or even replace it? I can do a lot, but I have about cars rela tiv little idea Thanks in advance
