  • Small business, are there minimum requirements?

Meal I play with the idea of a small business of motor vehicle repairs to register the bisssel undeclared work that I do over the year so legally secure (there is only a few hundred euros) So once asked, there is a lower limit in the small business of “at least XY a lot of Euro per month/year” or is that also OK if the times 3 months garkein profit throws because one has just nothing in the circle of acquaintances. Not least a business would be quite good because Registering dealers who only sell to traders is not a matter for me to control, but really only to be able to buy from the shops at all (Winkler, Würth, Metro) Then still as much as an address is then of course my place of residence there are then any regulations on my garage (work or environmental protection) or is that in the small business sector with which hardly any waste occurs?

  • How long do you have to drive to recharge your engine?

One reads a lot about how much you should drive after a start-up aid. What would interest me: How long do you have to drive in order to recharge a start-up? And another small question: Does a start-up of an engine pull at an automatic start/stop much or less current than a “regular” start-up?

  • Handlebars damaged after curb collision?

Moin municipality, I came up against the right kerb in a bend the other day… I don’t know how fast that was anymore; definitely with more than 15 km/h. I was already in the workshop, the nice gentleman said that both handlebars were damaged. Is that plausible? Admittedly, I don’t know about car mechanics; would be cool if you could give feedback! • Car repair performed by free workshop and failed or worsened. Who is liable?

Hello, the following situation: Have been having problems with my brake for months. It sounds like air is getting out of the brake. Diagnosis from the free workshop was ultimately a defective brake power amplifier and most likely also in combination with the main brake cylinder. The parts could be procured themselves. I had the agreement with the car master that I order the parts on the internet and he installed them to me (original ATE by Mister-Auto) Now were the parts exchanged in the last days – today I got a call, that it would be finished but the problem still exists. When I arrived at the workshop (girlfriend was with me), one smelled the mood of the car driver already from a wide, that it is quite pissed, that it did not work (I myself certainly more!) Now the worst: In the test drive it was clearly recognizable that the brake is completely ineffective – when pressing through one does not notice any resistance What can I do now? Am I the fool now, because I brought the parts with me and he can argue by the fact that the parts had a defect (which I don’t believe) – or is he obliged to build the stuff back at least again to restore the original condition? Actually, the car should have finished yesterday but there came a lot more. in call from him that he has broken a part (inadvertently – whatever…) and now the shit…. I’m pretty pissed off about the whole thing and am really thinking about how to act now tomorrow, if the brake ventilation has still not been implemented properly. Does any of you have some tips for me? Stay friendly and find a compromise or if he remains stubborn and the repair has worsened everything (which is the case so far). t) if necessary to file a complaint or a lawyer? Am I obliged to pay the invoice amount (today 250 € have fallen) – can he charge this time for the improvement? Thank you in advance for constructive tips

  • Damage to the threshold HU-relevant?

Hello! I would like to hear your assessment of whether an inspector at HU sees a deficiency in such a thing and perhaps even refuses the badge. Specifically, it is about damage on the threshold. See photos. In advance, thank you for your answers!

  • How long can a car stand unharmed, unused?

The starting point is that I will have to study from autumn onwards and reduce my expenses. I am a passionate motorcyclist and do not want to do without it. In Austria we have the possibility to deposit a license plate, also for cars. That’s why I thought I would only register my car in winter, and in summer it is parked in the garage. The question is, how harmful is this for the car? It would almost be 7-8 months and only 4-5 would be driven. safety and so save 200-300€ per year. My motorcycle survives the winter break quite well and I actually do nothing but leave the tank almost empty and 2-3x in winter the moped in the garage a little back and forth. But between 4 months and 8 is a big difference. So what do you say, this plan has future, or which drive forms are best suited for it (except for electric car there too expensive), and what measures should be taken to make a car such a service life I didn’t think I could ride a motorcycle all year round, only on a snow track I don’t think I could ride 2 wheels and in Hagenberg (Mühlviertel) I’m not sure how fast it will be cleared.

  • Axle geometry Fall rear axle Comparison front motor/rear motor

Hello, my friend had her Citroen C3 perform an axle measurement last week and got a protocol. When I looked through the protocol, I had to be terrified to find out that she has the same crash values on the rear axle as I did in the 911. How can that be? Elfer=Heckmotor, rear drive C3=Frontmotor, front drive And both have a target value of 1°50 minutes on the rear axle. In the Porsche I can understand that… big heavy engine behind the rear axle …. if the rear tyres are not properly attached, the car slips away. But the C3 has a completely different axle load distribution. C3 approx. 65% front, 35% rear 911 approx. 35% front, 65% rear And yet both vehicles have comparable crash values on the rear axle. I don’t understand. Can anyone explain that to me? What would happen if you set a neutral crash on the rear axle at the C3 … so 0 degrees. n Axis should the effects be minimal?! Thank you and greetings

  • Chassis metallic flap noise while steering in the stand (engine off)

If you’re on a stand with a motor, you’ll need to know the following noise:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ew21J9JbaYs&feature=youtu.be Normal? Don’t tend to think that you’re not, do you? During the ride, there’s no abnormal noise like booze or something like that. Less chassis noise than my parents’ 13,000km-old Opel pulls a little to the left. Tires in the left are slightly driven off. Will be introduced shortly to the workshop. Since I wanted to look again, where would be too search As I said, no funny noises like booze during the ride or while ranking. Is around Opel Zafira B, suspension at the front up to couplers 262,000 kilometers young.

  • Chiptuning without expert report -> Tuner turns across ! no registration possible

Hello, I had the 1.8 TFSI inflated from 120 to 200 HP. Before the optimization I asked the tuner if there would be problems with the registration. He then said that there was no problem with the TÜV. Shortly afterwards I also paid the money for the expert report, only now the tuner (Lizenehmer von Reichert-Tuning) tells me that you can not deliver an expert report. Now I thought, ok then got an expert report from someone else who offers the same, go with it to the TÜV and let TÜV tells me, goes net, since the tuner would have to confirm himself that he has done the tuning and then deliver the corresponding expert report. Now they have refunded me the money for the expert report, but I would also like to have my money back for the tuning, because I can not register the performance increase without the expert report. The company (AE-Perfomance) which carried out the tuning, told me that I should have said that with expert report before. -> I did. In addition, their homepage says: ÜV entry at an additional cost of € 300.- optional available. -> This is not the case. Can I take legal action against it?

  • Explanation of the strange behaviour of the car dealership

Good day, maybe someone can help me with my rather strange concern. I drive a new car, which I don’t have a year yet. There are always new technical problems on the vehicle. On the side of the car dealership there is a very sluggish assignment of the workshoper mine, partly I get the vehicle back and the problem persists. Then I have to wait again for a new appointment, and when the problem is finally fixed, occurs relatively immediately I would like to know if the car dealership could have any interest in constantly getting my vehicle into possession. I am grateful for information. I know that there is a vendor warranty, and that I can also have repairs carried out under the manufacturer’s warranty at other garages. I would only like to understand the behavior of this car dealership. Thank you very much! Angelina Bauernschmitt
