Hello Tach! The article is not a question – rather an experience report. I sunk my ranger last week into a 70cm deep clay pit. Since I still have no winds I had to drive out. This took an hour thanks to the distance discs only the mirror was scratched by the 45° angle. Distance discs are therefore not only for the optics! The subsequent cleaning took longer however After the mess I had no vibrations, although the carre carried 50 liters of clay and stones (partially fist gross) with it. After three hours of steam jet insert lying on the stream and a very angry washing system owner I drove home first. At speed 85 I got vibrations that could only come from the Kardan. I then only scratched about 10 grams of clay from the cardan shaft and this is the reason on the big disk in front of the rear axle. Immediately the vibrations had disappeared. So if someone has a problem there. A stone of 1cm.

The new 2011 Ranger – petrol engine suitable for gas?
Hello, I’m new here in the Ford compartment and have a little question: Now first pictures and first facts about the coming Ford Ranger were published, I know, is still a year up to the start of the sale. The press releases also mentioned a gasoline engine, the so-called “2.5 Duratec” with probably 200 hp (but shouldn’t come to Germany…?) This engine is certainly also installed in other Fords, do you know if the after appropriate conversion can also be operated with gas? That would be a clear novelty on the German pickup market for consumption optimization! Many greetings, Fren.

Ford Ranger 2.5 TD 109 PS çxç Year 2002, speed sensor
Hello dear Ford municipality, I need a little help and hope to find this one here. The following problem: On my Ranger Everest, the speed pointer spins, it stays at about 1000 rpm with a slight up and down. 1000 rpm therefore, because the idle could not really be adjusted. As soon as you give gas, it drops off to zero, and then to go back to about 1000 rpm. I can exclude the combination instrument, because a construction equal was used for testing, with the same result. I think, first of all, the sensor, perhaps someone knows where this seat? Belt disc how much is described, however, a dead end. Fly disc at least from the outside is not visible. According to my documentation, there is a sensor on the switching gear that is specified as a sensor tachometer. However, I do not know if this could be related to the speedometer. Question who knows where the sensor for the speedometer could be installed, Eventual diesel pump depending on the position of the gas train? Is there a fuse for this?

Maverick 2.3 150hp rattled about loose ceramic in exhaust system
Moin, my father’s Maverick has recently made rattling noises when starting up and at low speed. The Ford workshop in which the car was always maintained probably noticed loose ceramics in the exhaust system, more precisely I don’t know. A repair is expensive (>1000€?) and expensive because parts can not be ordered cheaply. Is it perhaps useful to visit a free workshop or simply continue driving? Thanks in advance

Ranger Raptor – How have you been satisfied with the quality of your Raptor ?
Hello together, I have a Raptor with EZ 01/2020, which I used among other things as a towing vehicle, fun-mobile and sometimes also as a everyday vehicle. The km performance is quite manageable, I lie at around 5,500 km in the last 10 months. The vehicle had addressed me by what I think cool design, inserts in light terrain are zero problem, the size in the city is still good to master, the engine in combination with the 10-speed automatic makes, as I think, his job in my field of application quite neat. Insofar everything is good. But: slowly annoying me bigger and smaller defects, which see me in relation to usage, the good mood is getting more and more corrupt. – Electronic problems ABS (control unit, cable tree ) – recall action software gear control – electronic problem oil quality ( shows oil change, although engine oil is new ) To this end, even haptic things, like: – Dashboard starts to vibrate with a certain engine rotation – leather cover Beifahrersitz throws massive wrinkles in my car now in the amount of 41 weeks would be interesting to me.

Constant battery problems with 2019 Ranger Wildtrack
I drive a Ford Ranger Wildtrack with the 213hp machine and have actually always had smaller problems with the battery. 1. In 5 years the start stop has worked exactly 2x, otherwise not 2. On the passenger side the door handle sensor only works when the battery is absolutely full 3. Instead of the usual Ford Sync tones can be heard with all functions only a gruesome beep. 4. The heating works in the winter only the first 20 minutes. After that it gets cold in the vehicle. In addition, it seems that the vehicle falls from a certain outside temperature into a kind of battery protection mode and not necessarily necessary systems simply shut off. I have the circumstance in the past years already repeatedly complained. The dealer found nothing. I had the vehicle in November at the 60,000 inspection and there also the inspection of the battery commissioned. According to the calculation without finding out. HEUTE I get into the car, push on’s button – battery dead. I still managed to start the vehicle, to which I have really switched off every consumer. But how can it be maintained. Anyway, My car has not been able to find any faults in the car.

AdBlue consumption
Hello together, wanted to ask you how much AdBlue you spent on your Ford Ranger 3.2 or 2.2? I asked me the question because I bought only 40L in March, and they were used up today and I have to stand and buy again… Well, it’s not expensive now… With me at work cost 40L full 4,40€ (brand Hoyer or how it is written) so… But now, on average, my 3.2 Wildtrak consumes 2,8l of 1000km AdBlue… What seems a lot to me… Have filled 13,000km down with the big one and 35L already… Can one of you ever call his cut?!

Explorer, which moto, LPG?
Good evening, I came to the Explorer after a long search, but I still have an XC90 on the list. Since I know about the model so far zero, which engine is best suited to the model? Online there are some 2.3 engines or should you rather grab the 3.6 engine right away? I hope for a few experiences from you, also problems or disadvantages of the model, whether plug in or not I am still unsure and whether an LPG gas system is worth it.

Ford Maverick 2005 All-wheel drive problems in narrow curve
With our Ford Maverick 2005 the all-wheel drive makes problems in a narrow curve: the inner wheel does not seem to be properly uncoupled and squeaking over the asphalt. What is probably broken and where am I still using the spare parts today? Best regards!

Timing belt change Ranger BJ 2011. 2, TD
In my workshop I was advised to change the timing belt. Last change 7 years ago , about 22,000km since the drive. Overall are at the Tacho 47oookm, my second car) Since I was told that here an invoice of about 750 € is to be expected, I wonder if these expenses are currently necessary with this low mileage. Alternatively, I am offered a cheaper replica package. about 500,–. Can one judge the condition of the belt somehow. How long do you drive with timing belt? I am already aware and was also often told that a broken timing belt is even more expensive.
