Hello together, wanted to ask you how much AdBlue you spent on your Ford Ranger 3.2 or 2.2? I asked me the question because I bought only 40L in March, and they were used up today and I have to stand and buy again… Well, it’s not expensive now… With me at work cost 40L full 4,40€ (brand Hoyer or how it is written) so… But now, on average, my 3.2 Wildtrak consumes 2,8l of 1000km AdBlue… What seems a lot to me… Have filled 13,000km down with the big one and 35L already… Can one of you ever call his cut?!

Explorer, which moto, LPG?
Good evening, I came to the Explorer after a long search, but I still have an XC90 on the list. Since I know about the model so far zero, which engine is best suited to the model? Online there are some 2.3 engines or should you rather grab the 3.6 engine right away? I hope for a few experiences from you, also problems or disadvantages of the model, whether plug in or not I am still unsure and whether an LPG gas system is worth it.

Ford Maverick 2005 All-wheel drive problems in narrow curve
With our Ford Maverick 2005 the all-wheel drive makes problems in a narrow curve: the inner wheel does not seem to be properly uncoupled and squeaking over the asphalt. What is probably broken and where am I still using the spare parts today? Best regards!

Timing belt change Ranger BJ 2011. 2, TD
In my workshop I was advised to change the timing belt. Last change 7 years ago , about 22,000km since the drive. Overall are at the Tacho 47oookm, my second car) Since I was told that here an invoice of about 750 € is to be expected, I wonder if these expenses are currently necessary with this low mileage. Alternatively, I am offered a cheaper replica package. about 500,–. Can one judge the condition of the belt somehow. How long do you drive with timing belt? I am already aware and was also often told that a broken timing belt is even more expensive.

Quitting, whistling noise at the ranger
Hello, I have a problem with a quick on my ranger. It usually occurs after a certain driving performance (about 10Km) and at a speed from about 80KM/h. I also do not know if it comes from the front or from the rear. There are no wind noises. Does anyone know this problem? Thanks

Ranger 2.5 TDCi 07 bought – now noise and imbalance at 120 kmh
Hello! Since the day before, we have had a Ranger 2.5 TDCi EZ 07 with now 76 tkm. He has built up a tuning box which should lift him to 171 hp. Could even be, I drove yesterday with the car with real 130 kmh the Pommer in the Kassel mountains. The old 2004er only managed to do so with 110. I bought the car in Sweden and could already gain a few experiences on almost 1500 km overpass. I am so excited about the car, the power difference to the 2004er is already enormous. In average it needs about 2 l less than the old one. On snowy Swedish roads 500 km with all-wheel speed 90, 52.5 l consumes. On the AB in D 540 km with average speed 120 55 l consumes. The commonrail engine is a great progress. At 140 kmh you can still talk, great. Only the seat is still quiet… , but now we have a problem: At speed 120-130 buzzes in the car as if you don’t want to hit the engine again.

Buying a Maverick?
A happy hello from a newcomer here. I’m going to get a SUV in the summer, just have to go in the fall!Winter torment me again and again on shaky forest paths. So purely optical and of the interior size the Maverick is for me the racer! The 2,3 L from year 2004. I am interested in the experiences here, susceptibility and what you might have to pay attention to. Because the prices are remarkably cheap (compared to CR-V, RAV 4 etc.). What do the spare parts costs look like? Thank you very much!

Rust problems at the Wildtrack BJ 2018 – Ford rejects everything
Hello together, I have massive problems with rust in my 2018 Ranger Wildtrack 3.2l. After 2 years the paint under the door handle has already rusted properly and also the handle on the tailgate. The two things were taken over by Ford as part of the rust protection guarantee. After again 2 or 3 years the other door handle came the same and the tailgate rusts at the lower edge. These damages were rejected. Who knows the problems? We don’t need to talk with the car dealership – they are stubborn and unsympathetic. Greeting Jürgen

PDC not available/sensor blocked
Hello fellow forists, I’m the newest owner of a Ford Ranger Wildtrak year 2024 with the 2.0 BiTurbo. Had the situation today that when I parked backwards at the same time I got the message from the front parking sensors as well as both rear lateral traffic alerts. Through obstacles front and cross traffic the system also reacted perfectly. At the same moment when it started to tingle from all sides, the corresponding message “front parking aid not available/sensor blocked”. Then I had also with the rear PDC permanent beep though no obstacle was in the way. After a restart of the vehicle and re-opening and parking no problems any more recognizable. Sensors are all free, not damaged or loose. Could it be that it was a unique software problem, which was caused by the special conditions? Since now everything worked excellently for such a lapalie not to the FFH. I would be very pleased about your assessment.
