  • Repair instructions clamping gas train Maverick

Hello, here was already discussed about the clamping gas, here the repair instructions: The cause of the clamping gas train is an abortion on which the throttle valve remains attached, this one has to be removed. I cleaned the throttle valve today and attached two pictures to you. One has to first remove the hose from the air mass meter to the throttle valve, to this one simply screws the hose clamp on. At the back of the suction tube is a artificial nipple, on which is a small the hose that comes from the vent of the valve cover, which is also carefully removed. Now you can see the throttle valve and move with the gas train, open it to 100% and clamp it securely, otherwise there are AUA fingers. At the edge, where the throttle valve is in closed condition, a deposit has formed, at which the flap clamps. This deposit must be removed. The best is to take the throttle valve cleaner from Würth and spray the deposits. with not going off, one can sand away with 800er Schmirgelpapier. To do this, one should cover the intake channel under the throttle flap with a lint-free (!) cloth, which can be watered with the cleaner, so that no Schmirgelparticles can fall into the intake tract. Most of all, the flap clamps at the places near the rotation axis. Then simply screw everything together again and finished. Is a good 1/4 to 1/2 h work. Greeting Tom

  • Ranger XLT gear damage

Hello, I have a Ranger XLT year 04 with approx. 60Tkm. Had unfortunately a gearbox damage (5th and reverse gears broken – I don’t know yet more precisely). The dealer tried for a week to get out the price for a new gearbox – the broken gearbox seems to him no longer repairable. Unfortunately, the vehicle is still 700km away from my place of residence …. Well, now my questions: 1. Gear damage at 60TKm. Had this already someone or is the gearbox a weak 2nd Kullanz at Ford. What is the willingness of Ford to take a chance. Is there any experience with you? Thank you for any answers. Greetings, Bruno

  • Heated exterior mirrors

Unfortunately, the Mav does not have a heated outdoor mirror as standard and, to my knowledge, there was no optional mirror. Even if it’s just midsummer, it’s also the season when I’m going to miss this useful “extra” as I had it in my Mondeo and my sample. In the bay, funny enough, there are a lot of heatable mirrors and mirror glasses for the Mav:http://cgi.ebay.de/…/150458844317?… Is the wire harness for the mirror heating already in place? sometimes someone like that installed? Hope for answers, unfortunately there is always quite little going on here 🙁 Greetings of the Hoogie

  • H*I*L*F*E Ford Ranger Yellow light bulb flashes H*I*L*F*E

Hello, my Ford Ranger (equivalent to Mazda B2500) Year 2005 120000KM has the following problem: The yellow engine pregloss lamp flashes. Sometimes after 5KM… or after 80KM….. or after 200KM Mazda and Ford both have read out the errors. In both with diagnostic device and after Blinkcode the errors 12+13+14. With three Ford dealers could not be helped us. As soon as the error occurs, the engine nails strongly, sounds like an old ship diesel. This topic is indeed in (according to Uncle Goggle) 3 Forums Discussions have appeared since 2004, but nowhere has there been a solution. So, who had this problem before and can help? Greetings of thebaumfaeller

  • new Ford Ranger 2011 – various questions

Hello, I wanted the Amarok first. Now I’ll stay with Ford and get me the new Ranger as soon as possible. Please help me briefly. Since I can’t make a seat sample – how much smaller is the cabin (back)? Do my kids have room in the font as well as in the kuga? Or do I have to make serious compromises? Is this with the missing permanent four wheel a safety and comfort disadvantage? With the kuga now this is a great thing. To the AHK. I move my boat with it. Can someone take me to the AHK. The first axle on my boat trailer hung almost in the air at the Amarok, so high is the AHK mounted. That’s not possible! last question … does someone know when price lists are available from the dealer and when the first ones should definitely be delivered? THANK YOU HEF!

  • Ford Maverick 3.0 12/2007

Good day We have a problem with our Maverick. Half a year ago he jerked at the start and then the engine lamp lit up. Shortly afterwards she started to flash. We drove immediately into our Ford garage. The mechanic connected the Maverick and said he showed false ignitions. He switched on all ignition coils, and the Maverick ran again, but he sounded differently than before. The engine noise was louder. A few days later the same problem again. The mechanic said that he didn’t have time to solve the problem immediately, but we can still drive the cat, nothing happened. But the whole thing was scary, and we brought our Maverick back into the garage. Now everything was thoroughly cleaned, many parts changed, and our Mav ran again. In between, the lamp lit up again and again, but it was quiet. Yesterday, the same thing again. He laid out, the Lam pe shines, now we are baffled. Does anyone know the problem, maybe our Maverick is not the only one who has this problem. Many thanks for any tips and answers!!!! Maverick Fan

  • Ford Ranger 2012

naBend, feel like I’m looking for potential successors through the WWW and what I discover on vacation, exactly what I can imagine. Should SUV be someday but Pickup would be a tempting thought. Now the one at ford.de but is grouped among commercial vehicles. And I also followed the link here and pulled the reports into the new model. You can also see everything nicely on the Ford side. Question: SUV maintenance costs and pickup costs may be There are other levels, I’m all about the fun of driving, it doesn’t have to be pulled, but what’s not can still be done, but is not firmly planned. Rather so my decision could be exactly like in the pictures in Natura, then it would have been bought. Ride the mostly alone, give it also with all-year tires? Does it run like a car or unloaded and empty, which would be mostly so with me, then different? Can you give me tips or a short help-stellu ng give what to pay attention to? Thank you already

  • Ranger BJ 2007 after 3 years and no 80000km engine damage!!!

Hello, my second Ranger Bj 2007, which we bought in 2009 from the exhibition at the friendly with 100km mileage, let me drive off on the 2nd Christmas day from the AB with smoking exhaust. Today the sobering for the time being: engine damage! No 80000km ran, dipped 6months or 15000km or inspection with all oils, warranty 8weeks expired. Can it be like that? The car has been used as an everyday car, short as long distance, but never heavy load (so neither on Since the inspection in the summer he needed 1-1.5 liters more fuel, I thought that was funny. So again I probably don’t buy a Ford. That was the 7th Ford in almost 20 years and actually there was always something about the cars, although, except for 2, all new bought.

  • Big problem with Maverick

Hello together, I have a huge problem with my Ford Maverick Highclass 2.0 Built. 2003 (91kw/124 hp) My car is 4 years old and was leased. 2 months ago I took the car from the leasing. At the weekend I wanted to go shopping with child and cone, where the car went out during the ride and did not sprang up. After I towed the car into the Ford workshop, I was informed on Monday that the crankshaft sensor was defective (abschipped) and On Tuesday, I was informed that the new sensor would not fit because it would grind at the crankshaft (or flywheel). The workshop manager told me that the crankshaft had too much play and they didn’t know why. However, he had already made a corresponding request to Ford, where this error was unknown. Today, I was informed that there was probably only the possibility to renew the engine block. The car ran until the Woc All inspections have always been carried out. The car has about 100,000 km on the speedometer. Can it really be that it is such a large defect (after only 100,000 km) AND would not have had to announce such damage by noises ect.. I have some kind of doubt about it. Maybe someone knows about it here or had a similar problem. Thanks in advance… Nemo
