  • Crv 2.2 Diesel weaknesses or flaws ?

Hello everyone !! after I’ve been looking sporadically into this forum for quite some time, it’s getting serious now. I have to buy a used Crv 2.2 diesel in the first week of January 2010. First registration is 11/06 the mileage is 36000 km. the general condition should be very good. Since I have been driving a St 1100 Pan European for 9 years, and the 89tk kilometer without breakdowns or failures, I’m actually convinced of Honda !!!! Now my questions: How high is the real consumption in the case of a smooth ride? Are there any weak points to be considered with this model ( Executive) or generally except the brake discs ?? For a few binding answers I would be grateful with frdl. Greetings

  • Average consumption of CRV 2.2 diesel

Hello CRV driver, I belong to it a few weeks. I bought a 2.2l diesel and am now with a driving power of 2500km. The consumption is currently at 8,4l on 100km. Man told me that the consumption of a diesel only settles at 10000km and falls down until then. Now I wanted to ask here in the round, how with you so the Durschnits consumption is and if I can make me hope that it falls something? I already thank you in advance for your answers!

  • The first snow

Today I was able to test my CRV in the snow for the first time. After there was no lack of mountains around Salzburg, I immediately picked one and went off. The road was completely covered with snow, I estimated about 10cm. The slope ranged from moderate to rather steep. On the climb I then almost completely passed through the accelerator, the VSA warning light went on and a moment later all 4 wheels drove the CRV. The speed increased quickly, the track kept itself magnificent. I did not know in a single moment the feeling that it would slip away, or that it would become almost uncontrollable. A 1 BMW, which appeared a little later in front of me on the road, however, had rather problems to get ahead of it. Important to mention: I have the original all-year tires on the car. When driving down the mountain I tested ABS and VSAm a few times to get a feeling for the car as it behaved in a real critical situation. The car remained well controllable in this case, hiel the track, but I had no feeling that the stern was not stopped at all at once.

  • Battery in the new 07 petrol for the second time defective

Hello, probably my “new” Varta is already juice and powerless again. When picking up the new car at the dealer he did not go on and a few days later it was clear that it had to be exchanged. Now I have the new about 4 months and it is probably already over again. Probably it has broken for longer and did not last more than 1 month. She is so on the edge and only in the cold start case is noticeable. Has this happened to anyone? Am I the only one? Can it be on the alternator? Mort PS: could be a part of my cause problem with Qualm (compare gas threads). However, there is something else going on there. Infos follow in the said thread as soon as I know something closer.

  • Cr-V Navi: Night mode

Hello, I have a question about the automatic switching day/night mode with the Navi of the Cr-V. This does not work for me: According to the instructions of the Navi, the Navi switches automatically into the night mode, if after mode is set to “car” and you turn on the light. With me this does not work correctly: If I turn on the light, the Navi switches back to the night mode for about 1/2 second but immediately. Does someone have the same problem or knows what that might be?

  • 1. TÜV and some defects…

After a relatively short pre-inspection some things have already been noticed: – 1 dust sleeve around one of the shock absorbers hung in shreds… is replaced again on warranty. Since the mechanic has gone so goal-proof to these parts, the conclusion is that the material or this weak spot of these cuffs is probably ‘known’. Clearly material lack! Has also torn at various rings, not only on one. – third brake lamp at the rear completely failed (I didn’t even notice) – too soft brake pedal pressure point (see if this is away with the exchange of the brake fluid) (as I have heard a saying that the CR-V should be vulnerable with the brake calipers, that the brake pads quickly become heavy, which was also the case with my last month, that the brake was fixed at the front right and brake disc and brake pads were not replaced at the front. CR-V is also very long.

  • CR-V and ski roof boxes – a bad joke?

Yesterday my Reelingsgrundgräger (for all cases also bought) had screwed on the car and today I am too nem friend with the roof box. Traded around a good old (still D-Markzeiten) with a small star at the rear (so what of the MB accessory) with 220cm length. Pustekuchen. The trunk goes then just so 20cm wide up then… So I will ask now now with the friendly and ATU for possibly suitable loan ski boxes or even better: we drive with the Astra of a friend. For me this realization means that I have probably bought the basic carrier for nothing and that I can not strap on the ski box, which also our cross-country skiers can accommodate (210cm and 207cm)! Have already researched. The problem have/had already the CR-V III owners. Have also looked at a CR-V III in front of the house at the same time. I’m afraid, the CR-V IV is even crazier!

  • Your CRV Experiences

After the turn of the year, we have a new (used) family carriage in our house. After a long consideration, the CRV has made it into the final constituency. In particular, a diesel with comparable equipment will be available: Honda CR-V 2.2i CTDi DPF Comfort for 9650 EURhttps://suche.mobile.de/vehicles/details.html?id=233758745. I hope you can now help me with a few experiences to make the final choice. How high are the maintenance costs (inspections large/small etc.), how vulnerable is the car for rust and electric/electronic zigzags, what would you pay attention to during a CRV trial trip? I am grateful for any input. MfG

  • Who beats 8 liters Super in a third mix

He is economical, the i-VTEC 2,0l. 🙂 I drove him the last 431km quite well in the 1/3 mix and come out according to the indicator at 8.0 liters. If I hadn’t spent 1h in traffic jam yesterday, I would be at 7.9 liters Super on 100km. Maybe there is an even more economical driver among you? Greetings, Hendrik
