  • Defect over defect…

Moin dear people, I have been reading with you for a long time, but I only recently registered to myself: I also did a CRV this year, the RE III with the 2.2 l diesel engine. So far so good, only unfortunately I have really only problems with this car and stress with the workshop. To my most acute problem I would like to hear your opinion / know. I noticed that the car or the engine rattles, if you take the gas away, comes so about at just over 1000 rpm. Wa r with my nice dealer and he told me that this is the tensioning roll of the belt, but what is normal wear and therefore not covered by the warranty…but the car has only 60,000km down…is that normal???? I remember even more or less that there is 1 year warranty and that roughly it can be assumed that everything that occurs in the first half year was already broken when the car was bought. Corrects me if I am wrong. More nice info about my dealer: That was the 5th visit to him because of defective at my car. I hope you can help me somehow. Greetings

  • The Honda CR-V is the automotive reliability

The Honda CR-V is something like the prototype of the modern SUV: plenty of space, good glider qualities and a design that is more oriented on the boulevard than on scree tracks. Nevertheless, the all-wheeler could never really participate in the German SUV boom. Used car buyers now profit from it: the CR-V is cheaper to have than most of its trendy competitors. And in terms of quality, it beats every competitor. The whole article (12.10.2011) at welt.de:

  • Buy CR-V Facelift

Hello! I’m thinking about buying another car. Drive now a 2005 Accord Tourer without DPF and Prelude BB6 (previously Accord CL7,Accord Coupe,Civic Coupe,Prelude BB3,2xCBR600).The selection was still Mazda 6 Facelift and Ford S-MAX 2.2. I was able to find out a lot of negative information about these vehicles on the Internet. I found only a few information about the CR-V I-DTEC, which is the reliability. Can you recommend the CR-V to me? How about the DPF, until work I have exactly 10km ( 2km country 3km city 4km expressway and 1km city) does the filter take part in this route?

  • Navi Retrofitting Honda crv Year of construction 11/2010

Hello, have a question! would like to make my CRV a bit more intressant and with a Navi retrofit Ebay 499Euro, but I’m afraid that some functions on the steering wheel no longer work or anywhere else. My contact at Honda said that it comes to problems. Is that so, or is it just banging? Does the warranty expire? Don’t know what to do now. The installation would cost 150 Euro. Who can give me advice. LG Mimmi

  • Heating CR-V Webasto or Eberspächer

Hello CR-V -Gemeinde I will have a heater installed shortly. The more I read the more insecure I become, which manufacturer and model I should choose. Webasto or Eberspächer ? I would like to ask for tips and experiences for CR-V CDTI 2008 RE 6 Executive Leather Large Navi The installation seems to be cheaper at the Bosch service. I thank you for well-meaning advice.

  • Fuel consumption

Hello CRV-community, I have had the CRV 2.4 Exclusive Edition (RE7) for almost 2 months. So far I have driven about 500 km (short distances and some motorway kilometers). The average consumption of the short distances (about 5 km) is 11.7 l, with overland journeys almost 11.3 l. Indicated consumption lt Honda is inner-city 13.1 l and extra-urban “7.4 l” (???]). How do they come to this consumption? Does anyone already have experiences about the consumption of the new one? I have to say that I don’t use the gears (automatic gearboxes) and also not “kick-down” acceleration. In addition, at the current temperatures in Franken (between minus 17 and minus 12 degrees) the car should not reach any operating temperature. Thanks in advance. Wishes all members a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year (but only in the New Year) – otherwise it will always be nice on the road. CRV-Gerhard

  • Class SUV

Hello Together, for weeks I dealt with the purchase of a middle class SUV. Various SUVs I compared with each other. Finally, there were among the SUVs which I took into the short choice like, Mazda CX 5, Mitsubishi Outlander, Kia Sportage, Nissan QASHQAI…. no model which was m.E. in front of the CR V. Just as far as the spaciousness of the CR V is concerned, not one of the above-mentioned models can keep even close to it. Also as far as the whole interiour is concerned, this is kept in the Honda comfortable and especially friendly. One simply likes to sit in the CR V. Hardest competitor was the CX 5 from Mazda. One without question nice car. But first it is not as spacious as the Honda CR V and second it looks extremely dark in the interior and thus very cramps. Certainly the latter is absolutely a matter of taste, but the darkness in the Mazda was massive when I own it. As far as the consumption of my gasoline, I am more enthusiastic than I can keep up to the consumption of every car.

  • Subsequent insurance for 2 years

Hello together now stand before the decision. The CRV is now 3 years old and has 38000 km down. Is the connection insurance for 429 € or can you leave it here? Who has experience with the insurance? Which expensive parts are thus due after 3-5 years.

  • Mileage

I have now driven my CR-V 8years and about 80000km, of which I had a duty car for 3years. In addition to a new battery and a new climate compressor, he was always very reliable, or still is. I am interested in what it looks like with you and how high your kilometers are or were.
