Hello guys. I have a little problem with my CR-V and turn to you again. Maybe someone has an idea. To the vehicle: CR-V III Built. 2009 2.4l machine 62,000km running It gets a little longer, but I describe the events of a week. To the problem: Last week I drove in the stepmpo over a parking lot. I noticed a slight motor rucksack and saw a clear gap. Just before the parking gap it suddenly clacked loudly. I wanted to quickly enter the Pa Then one suddenly heard a loud screeching out of the engine compartment and the engine went out…therefore steam from wheel boxes, ventilation and bonnet. I quickly started again (I don’t know you should) and parked. Then again screeching and steam. Then it started to drip. I guess about half a liter to a liter of water and a small stain of water with oil. When the tractor came he wanted to hear the engine and the engine was running top. I I had the car towed to the next workshop. Now it comes: The workshop found nothing! After such an action there was no mistake to recognize. Climate is running, it is tight and the cooling system was also pressed off. The oil tank was wet and there is a little cooling liquid missing. Very unsatisfactory. I would have rather had something concrete broken. Then I drove without problems. On Friday I was at Honda, sign the problem and I was told that if the car is running now, then it’s not worth checking. Yesterday it happened again and I took some photos and videos, otherwise they still think I’m crazy! I drove a lot again and at some point when parking it was time again… jerking the engine and two kinds of cracks. At the first video you hear and see the restless run and at second 9 the noise and at video 2 you get really started…and yes, I get the problem and I was told that if the car is running now, then it’s not worth checking. Look at me! But this time no steam, etc. I went home later.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skt2WbqU040https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJO6tswXTkI The drops are just condensed water, aren’t they? But what the hell is this all about? Anyway, I can’t use the car like this…

Good consumption of petrol
Hi guys, Since I mostly only drive long distances ( up to 400Km a day ), I pay particular attention to the fuel consumption. Since at the time of my car purchase was very short term no diesel to get was I decided for the petroler. Clearly the torque compared to the diesel is very modest, but with the consumption I can certainly keep up. I find a consumption of 6.8 to max 9.5L under full speed are very good for such a car. the 6.8L consumption according to BC maintain at constant 130 KM/h and a speed of slightly more than 3000. Since I do not really believe the BC in the car, however, I basically calculate. The actual consumption was also only 7,1 Litter. Greeting Thomas

DPF repeats within 2 days!
Honda CRV, BJ 2008, Diesel. Hi, I’m a lot frustrated and slightly desperate. At the moment I spend my holiday in Denmark and only temporarily on the beach if I don’t just hang around at the Honda dealer and wait for my car. On Monday, after about 35,000km, or 12 months of regular use, the DPF control lamp lit up. It’s striking that it doesn’t flash, but is directly on the move. So I drove almost 80km to the next Honda dealer to Aalborg and got the DPF. After that, I paid special attention to driving longer routes high-touring (>3000U/min) so that the cat gets hot. Today – two days later – the lamp is on again. What’s this crap? What do the Danish Honda owners do differently? Drive those only gasoline or can they regenerate the filter at home 😉 – because every day to the workshop, can’t be the solution. What can be the reason? Is it the diesel here? But where am I supposed to fill up? There are a few shell filling stations that offer a s.h. “speed diesel” or similar next to the conventional diesel. Can this help? I have to drive back home on Saturday 1000km south with Kind&Kegel – and for that I can’t use this emergency mode. Has anyone had similar experiences? Can I wait for this at Honda Kulanz? The next car will probably not have an H ahead. 🙁 Many greetings Ralf PS: Already in some forums to likeli I would like to thank the rapporteur for his excellent report.

Experience with automatic CR-V 2.2i and DPF
Hello! I’m new to this forum and politely ask for feedback regarding my decision to have ordered an automatic transmission instead of a switch. Is there experience about the technical quality, durability, service costs and other driving behaviour(?) with this 5 gear transmission (old, today all DKG want) and are problems with the DPF to be expected? To 70% of my journeys I leave 2X each 17km in urban traffic. What about the service costs (especially in Austria)? H abe with my 60 years at the hump yet no automatic driven. But was very pleased with a test drive and ordered the automatic impulsively. I can hurt the fuel consumption more. Greetings Helmut

Short circuit harness everything out!!!
Hello dear community, Wednesday evening, after work, finally! Cozy descent and then the fat one goes off! What now, auweia. Honda Assistance (mobility guarantee) called, 20 minutes later comes the yellow angel and suspects the control unit has skyrocketed, sounds plausible at first, because the starter turns well, but otherwise no reaction in the system. So the thick piggyback and off to the friendly. The poor has to look for hours. What was going on? At the assembly of the wire harness a Cl ip slanted and therefore the wire harness rubbed on a metal holder and just in the cable to the control unit creates a short one. Peng Puff everything past!! So look better, in the appendix a few pictures, the side paneling goes out really easily and the 2 minutes are all better invested times than a lying lead! The mobility guarantee worked by the way very well, after 1 hour we sat already in the car rental, Honda had already informed the dealer the next morning To take my car in preference, the rest was just a regrettable human mistake. Engine damage to FR-V
HALLO ! Have a very big problem with my vehicle. With a running performance of only 94,000 KM the control chain is torn with me. Honda has regularly made the maintenance also the oil. A client request was made the car is 3 years and 2 months old. Honda has offered me only 30% of the material. Although you have also admitted that the chain must not irritate and is maintenance-free. Question: Does anyone else have the same damage and where I get a new engine. According to Honda lasts the e Delivery time of a new engine up to 7 months and should cost 6,500 € without installation.

Piston provision
hello CR-V community, actually come from another forum and have already used your search, but unfortunately didn’t find it revealing……sniff, now to my problem….. my nice father-in-law drives a CR-V 2,2-diesel year 2007 where the brake is totally down in the back….because I’ve already changed several brakes in my life-just vw,opel,bmw-he came up with the idea that I could possibly do it……grrrrrrrrr that he has an inside drum for the handbrake “Have I already seen wear-warning contact apparently not!!! how do I set the brake piston back??? to the right turn and press at the same time as with the VAG models??? or just press??? special tool necessary??? should the jaws for the parking brake be replaced immediately??? the car now has 128000km down….have also seen a kind of slot screw from outside at the disc brake-can you probably turn out to adjust the brake cheeks of the drum-meat I want to remember something else????? thank you so much for your quick help

Fuel consumption of new Honda CRV
Hello people A lot is asked and written about fuel consumption in the motor talk. The consumption values of the car manufacturers correspond to a Din standard. I believe the consumption is measured at highway 120km/h 80km/h outside of town and 50km/h city traffic. So if someone beyond this information operates the vehicle, the information of the manufacturers can never be reached. I believe that a car like the new CRV automat with petrol engine should not consume more than 10 liters. I always have to smile a little bit about some writers in the motor talk. (for various brands, from Japanese, Korean to European manufacturers) People who are about 200 km/h on the motorways wonder that their car needs too much must. (Din-Norm greets) I don’t think that the CRV petrol machine is far below 10 liters to drive. With diesel, that’s a completely different thing. Once it’s driven in, the consumption will change. I get my CRV petrol machine at the end of May. I will then report in detail about my experiences in the hopefully positive sense. But you can be sure that I will also reveal the negative sides of the CRV in this talk. I can already complain about one thing. I find the all-year tires an impression of Honda. That also led to the CRV in the brake test of various car magazines quite badly. Hon I’d have to talk about the books. Otherwise I’ll find the CRV a very successful car.

AHK vs PDC, rigid or removable?
Hello to the experts, we have bought a used Honda CRV 2.2 CTDi executive (BJ 2007). This should pull our horse trailer. In itself I would like a rigid AHK, because you should remove the removable one by itself, if no hanger hangs behind it and the rigid AHK is probably also cheaper. We have someone who will mount it to us. Now I have looked at Rameder and read the sentence that the PDC may constantly recognize and warn an object if you have an AHH K has it. Is that true? Is this only the case with the rigid or also with the removable AHK (if it is attached)? Is this a problem with AHK in general? The PDC should be able to switch off, but in the long term a bit senseless. Hopefully, the tailgate always opens, no matter which AHK you build. Would also be nice lighting in the horse trailer. To do this you then need permanent plus, or? This has to be put back by the battery? How expensive is that? only with the 13 pin plug set, right? Visually it doesn’t have to be this strange shape of the original Honda AHK, but I’m also not such an optical fetishist that you can’t see anything there. Therefore, the idea with the rigid AHK, if it is neatly attached. Of course, it would also be nice if the parts (underbody protection and bumpers don’t have to be “processed” too much. Look forward to your professional tips. LG
