  • Diesel particulate filter detectors

    Hello Fangemeinde, with my used Honda CRV 2,2 iTDI, built in 2007 with 115000km on the clock, the control light of the DPF has reported three times (by blinking) in the last 3 months. I then travelled a longer distance(15km) with approx. 80-120kmh and the blinking stopped. My question is now, at what intervals does a DPF clean up? I have to say that I have driven 90 percent short distances recently. I would also be interested in what happens if I In the last 3 months I have driven around 6000km. I’m already thinking if I only refuel the ultimate diesel (no addition of organic ingredients) from Aral. But then you put 10 cents more for the litre. Can’t really be a solution. I’d be happy if you told me your experiences with the DPF.

    Have I got a CR-V diesel before me, have already some for the selection would like to bring in your opinion. and that is I have one from 05/2007 with 43tkm for 23T€ with xenon,navimit return drive cam, hangover, leather, and one from 10/2007 with 38,5tkm for 23,5T€ without navi and trailer coupling which of the vehicles would you recommend with? zebrechte me already for two days the head would like to look at eventuel at the WE if it claps?   • Brakes ? cause howling noise

    Hello dear forum community, maybe someone has some experience about this problem: In my CRV II, 2.0, Bj 5/05, 110 TKM, for 3 months sometimes a not very loud, but clearly perceptible howling sound from the rear is heard. Now you could think of wheel bearings or differentials (I say as an anti-technician), but apparently the noise comes from the brakes, as it is immediately gone when you tipt on the brake, but unfortunately comes back immediately. If d Then it is parked and after some time it is put into operation, nothing, no noise. Then after 50 km again noise. I understood the brake discussion 2009 here in the forum so that noises that occur there during braking were criticized. Here it is turned around, it goes away during braking. I know that remote diagnostics are difficult, but maybe someone had a similar phenomenon, and unfortunately I did not have a workshop of trust (I needed to wg. of the CRV in the last 3.5 years also not).   • CRV DPF Problems BJ 2006

    Hello together, I know the topic with the DPF has been written a hundred times. I have now only the problem that I no longer have a workshop because the people there were so impossible. I bought the car back in 2007 as an exhibit mainly because it was just so cheap by the model change, I was unfortunately not informed about the DPF. At the beginning I had problems with the DPF again and again, but after the update in 2008 everything was fine. 2009 I had n case that the warning light immediately went on permanent light, of course I have been in the workshop, it took forever because the car stopped cleaning by going out. Four weeks ago then after a long time the flashing came back where I put it, two weeks later the same thing, this Monday then the lamp went on permanent light again while driving. When I called the workshop the technician showed me in an impossible tone like who n it’s just that I can’t drive a car, but then connected to the master. His first words were “I didn’t give them the notepad” of course he had that and I also tried to stick to it. Since I had a distance of 350KM in front of me anyway, he said I should drive and then the light is gone, because if I would come to the workshop it takes at least an hour and costs it does what!!! I drove the light br ennt still but he is not in the emergency run, but in this workshop I don’t want to call anymore, unfortunately there aren’t so many HHs nearby. Is there any way to solve this even without a workshop, or can someone recommend me a workshop in the postal code range 71672? Thank you already! Greeting Cecile

    Hello, are there any information or pictures about the new Honda CR-V 2012? I haven’t found anything yet. Honda always makes her new models an “Area 51” secret If he is to come on the market next year, then he will probably be ready and most things should be fixed.   • Battery in CR-V

    Hello municipality Have our thicknesses 2 now almost 2 weeks. Very satisfied. Also the heater is great. What annoys me, however, is the Honda built in such a low-performance battery ( 45 Ah ), despite the preheating and the many other power consumers ( Navi, Alarm, ZV etc.). Have now bought from Varta the Silver dynamic 63 Ah cheaply. This is installed to me at the friendly HH free of charge. Since when the preheating operation the front ventilation on defroster and temperature on H ifh must stand, I believe to be on the safe side with the more powerful battery.

  • Corrosion on the chassis

    Hello Honda fans, since I have problems with the warranty claim with my contract workshop, I turn to you. At my Honda C-RV (bj. 10/2007, reimport from Denmark) during the repair of the air conditioning at the Honda contract workshop in August 2010 rust was found on the chassis (see pictures). The air conditioning repair was carried out free of charge (guarantee). I then asked the car dealer to eliminate the rust damage on the chassis via warranty. I received from the contract workshop on 30.3.11 the rejection of the rust removal. Reason for the rejection: Import vehicle. The service was always carried out in Honda contract workshops. Is this rejection justified and can you tell me your experiences? Thank you for your efforts.

  • Honda FR-V 2.2 Diesel 2007 – Battery – alternator

    Hello, as a family we bought a Honda FR-V in November 2012 with about 102000 km. I had problems with the battery in December, so that I had changed it after charging etc. in January for a new battery. The second battery is now empty again. I have tested the battery voltage several times, with the following results: Cold engine with interior ventilation – 11.7 volts Warm engine with interior ventilation and light 14.04 volts War also 14.3 volts I have measured 15,2 volts with a warm engine (but only once) I was already at the workshop, this one has presented me with an estimate in which I should spend 830 € for a new alternator. How can I measure if my alternator is faulty? Ampere/Volt? Is it normal that I get less than 12 volts with a cold engine? I would be happy about your answers. Greeting Rudi

    Hello Honda Community. Have a CRV Diesel year 2009 and would like to install a chip tuning power increase to 176hp torque 380Nm.Have already read some time ago in the forum of someone who had built it also and was fully enthusiastic. On the other hand I also read there might be problems with the sootpartickel filters. HH wanted to have 800 euros for the tuning, on the Internet there is in from 130 Euro. What also wonders me the same engine is in the Acord with 176 Ps anbo Ten. Has someone experience with the tuning. Greeting Helmut
