Hello, am new here and wanted to give me my mustard and also ask questions. I have been the owner of a new Honda CRV 1.6 diesel with 9-speed automatic for about 2 months. Equipment:Lifestyle. I’ve been driving only Mazda for a long time and I’ve been a stranger now because Mazda didn’t convince me any more. After searching through the forum and also from my not long experience with Honda I already noticed that this is not all goldy with Honda. There is on the one hand the so-called Honda connect system with the re-approached MirrorLink. Short-it doesn’t work for me either. Apart from the fact that you have to take a step back there with the smartphone so that it’s going well. I thought with the new car and the technology I have made a jump-but now I have to buy a new smartphone fitting to the car. What makes me worry about the fuel consumption of the not nearly to the specified data. Now I want to get down a bit over 2000km and the engine should have gone slowly. After the fuel consumption the rest was told me about 600km.

Yes, I wish for Christmas *g*
Our 120hp CRV with CVT transmission. That would be something, I would change ours immediately. However, there will never be, as such transmissions can not withstand the torque permanently, unless it is incredibly large and becomes too heavy. Always have the maximum torque to have what and also saves diesel. 9 gears I find exaggerated. The part is more at the turn than it brings power to the road. In addition, one of the two clutch discs always grinds. I find that 7-speed would have been enough. Less moving parts ect-pp…. LG

Honda CRV 2015 gives ground waves too much to drivers.
Hello community, I hope I didn’t use the search too badly. The following problem with my father’s CRV. He got it new this year in April. Of course, he did the test before and was happy about it how nicely he absorbed floor waves. Now he gets the new one out of the plant and is angry that he somehow takes up the floor waves too much and passes it on to the occupants. It’s not like in the test vehicle. He ordered exactly the same. Of course he was in the workshop. They just said he should make a little less air on it and there was nothing to adjust. Now I should turn to a forum if someone had the same problem and if there was any way to improve the ride comfort. He could still imagine that it might be the tires. But can the tires change something about the vehicle absorbing the floor waves too much? He said he had already researched something and found out the 2 of 5 crv ́s “too hard” I hope someone can help us.

Does the new CRV with 1.6 l as diesel pull as good as the “old” with 2.2 l?
Hello, since 2014 I have a CRV 2,2 l diesel (automatic) as a service vehicle. Now it will be replaced next year and I would like to have a CRV again. However, I ask myself whether the 1.6 l machine is still as suitable as a towing vehicle for a caravan as the 2.2 l machine. Does the force come from the cylinder capacity (reduced) or from the torque (same)? It is also specified with 1,500 kg of draw load. By installing an oil cooler it can pull 2,000 kg. That’s the “old” model as well as the new model. But does the new one pulls so well? Unfortunately, there is never a demonstration model with trailer coupling at the dealer’s, so I can not try it before. Has someone perhaps used it as a towing vehicle? With the 1.6 l machine and automatic? And has ideally had the CRV with the 2.2 l machine before or driven it? Would I be pleased about reports.

A new one here in the forum.
Hello, everyone in the CR-V forum, I’m still driving a Honda Accord and decided at the end of April to order a CR-V Elegance. Since I won’t drive more than 10,000 KM a year, it’s supposed to be a gasoline engine. Adding another Navi and as a color “Urban Titanium Metallic”. In previous life I was a professional driver, therefore I don’t think too much of automatic, therefore a hand switch. Now the good piece should be delivered in mid-July. Hopefully it is also as reliable as my Accord, which has faithfully accompanied me 10 years without murmuring and major repairs. Many of the posts in the forum give that yes. MfG Luchow41

Air conditioning and jerking
Hello, I am now driving the Crv IV 2.0 four-wheeler as a petrol engine since the end of October last year and am more than satisfied with the slightly rough switch from the first to the second gear. But now I have noticed what and wanted to ask if this is also the case with you. If the air conditioning is running, the car drives more restless, just in the load change area, if you give only slightly gas and then go off the gas. When I speedily notice through a jerk at the accelerator pedal that the compressor turns on. Feels like the Vtec switching. The compressor switches when it is warm about all 20 seconds. At the same time, one hears a hissing in the interior, sounds like one blows into a straw. If one drives without a climate and switches the one feels the first moment as if one pulls the handbrake lightly. Am I only sensitive because one could not notice this with my old diesel, or is there a defect on the air conditioning. In winter I hardly used the air conditioning system, because it is difficult to say hello to the dealer.

Winter complete wheels for CR-V model 2015 ?
Hello together, since April 2015 I drive the CR-V Facelift 2015 with the new 1.6l diesel 118KW – 4awd. Now I am looking for suitable winter complete wheels (225/60 R18) on aluminium wheels. Unfortunately, nothing is offered for this vehicle by all common suppliers. Also various calls from manufacturers (decent etc.) led to nothing. My HH has now mailed me an offer with 18″ original rims (not exactly a special offer:-) , which are also currently mounted with summer tyres. If someone has perhaps an idea or an info with which I can get further. Thank you in advance Kalle

Exchange CR-V petrol (autogas) for diesel
After two CR-Vs since 2012 with car gas I ordered a 160 HP diesel. The decisive factor for this was actually only the bad passage of the petrol engine in the trailer operation (1.5 to. caravan). Otherwise the cars also in the gas operation always went great. The current IV also much better than the CR-V III. I have installed an 80 liter gas tank in the spare wheel-mulde, because I come with in normal driving operation (not very slow) just over 600 km. Is of course a dream with the gas prices. Last weekend at the Dutch-Belgian border (Maasmechelen) for € 0.279, that is of course a cracker. Well, that’s how it is from January then also over, then I also refuel diesel. But I am not too excited about the torque. I drove the 160 HP sample, was nice. So if someone is looking for a CR-V IV with car gas, from January one is for sale at my dealer. Running performance until then will be around 50 TKM.

Caravan levels CR-V LV
Servus Camper, am relatively unsuccessful in the search for caravan mirrors. At Fritz Berger I had ordered OPPI Spiegel, allegedly for our CR-V, – but did not fit. It seemed funny to me when ordering, since the seller according to the catalog, model 2013 found only one model for mirrors without integrated turn signals. Was there ever a CR-V of the last model years without integrated turn signals? If you are known a good mirror and maybe also experiences with it are available, please let me know. Greeting Willi
