Hello, everybody, I bought a Transalp last weekend. The mopped is in an incredibly good condition, optically anyway, but obviously also technically, because – unlike a lot of machines that I’ve tested over the last ten days – it’s completely flawless. But – and that’s embarrassing to me now, because I haven’t checked it in view of the good condition – it’s not a customer service checkbook. I know from the previous owner that he didn’t make official inspections because he barely drove himself in the few years he had the thing. And if you ask me, it’s now that he never owned such a checkbook. What do I do if I don’t find out about the pre-owner? At the friendly Honda dealer, issue a new one and have it completed after the first self-instructed inspection?

Hello together, after I didn’t really find out about the topic of “Pandeln Pan European ST 1300” here I ask if someone is driving this machine, and I don’t mean to drive with 120 over the BAB but 180 solo with loaded suitcases. I’m 1.80m tall and weigh 76 kg with clothes. Does the box swing now or not at such speeds? How did the windshield roll out? Good morning, I got a flasher with position light for my Honda Cb500f BJ 2016. I bought adapters for the turn signals in order not to fugitive unnecessarily at the wire harness of the moped (+)(-). However, the position light should always light as soon as the ignition lock switches. And the Honda has no position light from the factory. Does any of you have an idea where to clamp the position light best? Pick up behind the ignition lock or from the headlight front?

Hello people! I wanted to introduce myself briefly here. I am the Scorp. (39 ) and come from the St.Pöltner area in Lower Austria. Thanks to Corona I could finally fulfill a dream. A-Schein + Motorbike. Vacation cancels and instead immediately catch up with the appearance. Then some test drives and then into a Honda CB650R 04/2019 in love and taken home. Now she stands in my garage and is driven as often as possible. Since I am still pure beginner I wanted to wa My bike is quite new and has just 3600km on it. Are there special things for motorcycles that you should do right from the start in order to enjoy the bike longer. I think about things like cars where you do e.g. a cavity seal. With my Honda I have treated all black plastic parts with a special care and thus protected against UV. What can you do about a new bike even more? Thanks already in advance.

Hello, I’m in despair soon. I bought a CM400 and had to do something about the front wheel disc brake because it was fixed. So I completely dismantled the caliper, cleaned everything, greased the brake piston with brake piston paste, installed new brake cheeks. Upstairs I cleaned the main brake cylinder and then installed a new repair kit. The brake hose is still the old one. I also watched some videos on Youtube how to vent. So: I tried this for about 1/2 hours. First, a few air bubbles came out of the vent valve, but now nothing happens anymore. If I use the brake lever “pump” at the top of the valve, very small bubbles – but only a few – come out in the brake fluid tank. What do I do wrong or are there any other options? How do you get the brake fluid down into the brake chamber? Ttel?

Hello first of all, I would like to thank everyone who read the article at all in advance. Now to my problem, I changed the turn signals to Led Blinkers together with my father, where Honda replaced the turn signals. Relai also switched and the original plugs rewired. But now suddenly nothing went on, the battery was all. So now to the curious thing, after we have charged the battery a lot did not go. Neutral display does not work, turn signals do not work, main light does not work. Oh and when you turn on the Kill switch and off you hear a click noise. And I have no idea what that could be. Hello friends, recently bought me a Honda Silver Wing GL 500 , BJ 1981 USA model used . When the nut was unscrewed from the seat I touched with the wrench the 12 V flasher , which is mounted directly below the nut . Since then the electrics is off . Question , is this flasher now replace , or how do I get the electrics back to run ? Looking forward to answer Greetings Aremin

Hello guys, the chain of my 93 Honda Transalp was quite loose. Logically, I put it back on. Since I was already there, I sprayed it with new chain grease, which I have never used before. After I was finished I did a test drive. I noticed that there was a noise that I have never heard before. I immediately thought that I might have stretched the chain a little too strong, or wrong. I immediately checked and checked it out. The sound, a mixture of grinding and squeaking, was still there… My question is, where could noise come from. Is it due to the chain? Did I have to pay attention to something important when spanning? (It was the first time that I stretched the chain myself. I made it out of a manual for the Honda after an instruction) Or can it be due to the chain grease? Ode could that be all that’s possible?

Hello dear Hondaforum, I’ve been here at MT for a while, but I’ve never been to the Hondaforum. I’ve been the owner of a SC59 Fireblade from 2011 with 23t km since yesterday. During the test drive yesterday the ABS light was on (permanent lights, no flashing) after the engine was started. After the start the lamp went out within an estimated 100 or 150 m and didn’t come back. According to the owner this is normal. Is that true? I have not “braked” into the control range of the ABS. That’s why it was no obstacle to purchase the bike from my point of view 😉 1) Is this so normal that the lamp is on and then runs out, or is there an error that I read out by Blink code? 2) I have researched that the SC59 has some problems with the ABS unit in the first years of construction. In the Firebladeforum I read that there are modifications of the ABS modulator with installation and The seat was carried out via a steel flex cable, which has solved the problems. Does anyone here also have information about what is needed for the conversion and preferably a short instruction? 3) Are there thermal problems at the right side paneling that cause the material there to become brittle or even break? Or has the owner flunked in that point (as I suspect). PS. Workshop manual has been ordered today

Moin and friendly greetings, the following problem: the motorcycle doesn’t want to start any more. Battery is replaced, spark plugs are replaced, fuel is about 3 weeks old, starter turns. I may have been able to narrow down the problem a little bit. When I turn on the ignition, I have a fast cracking noise under the tank (as far as I can hear it right ), as if a relay was not working properly or defective. As far as I have seen it correctly, there are under the tank the Ignition coils and a sensor unit. My question is under the tank relay ( Have made me a rough overview of the electrics by the hand of a spare parts catalog for the wire harness ) What is the purpose of this sensor unit? Do defective ignition coils make such a noise? Do not know me with the things ( truck – locker ). Small update to the wash. Right side height air filter, if I reach behind the air filter and the ignition switch on are easy vibrations to feel, however it can be There is probably an air injection control valve. And last but not least: I miss a sound. I don’t hear the fuel pump when the ignition is switched on. Does the fuel pump start for a few seconds (for the purpose of the pressure setup) or does it start at the start of the starter? Here, however, I have to pay more attention to it.
